Great time had by All !

  • 5 of 5

We received a warm and friendly welcome and enjoyed our stay in this comfortable cottage.

Such a peaceful location yet close to lots of attractions which suited all ages of our party; Folly Farm, long woodland walks, Narberth, beaches, Blue Lagoon, Pembroke castle to name but a few.

Fabulous shower in the downstairs bathroom. No TV meant the kids had an amazing time exploring the beautiful gardens and playing games!

Would thoroughly recommend for a quiet getaway

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended

Pembrokeshire has 172 miles of coastline with many beaches mostly sandy. All can be reached within 40 minutes from the Farmhouse.

Haverforwest airport is 10 miles from the cottage & Cardiff is one hour's drive time. A car is recommended.

Narberth Town, 5 miles. Haverfordwest Town 10 miles.

Bluestone Resort 3 miles, Oakwood Theme Park 3 miles, Folly Farm Zoo 6 miles.

Remainder of the County in 40 minutes with a huge array of good food & walks, cycling, coast.

Further Details:

The Pembrokeshire coast & beaches are world famous with many interesting offshore islands which are worth visiting for local flora, fauna & monks! The nearest town Narberth (5 miles) has fascinating independent shopping and a great range of restaurants & pubs. The Farmhouse rests on the Lansker line, which defines Welsh North Pembrokeshire from the more Anglicized South & traveling North brings you into contact with Welsh Culture, Food & Custom.

For the occassional wet day there are many under cover attractions within a short distance. Bluestone Aquadrome, Follyfarm & zoo, Heatherton Park, Dinosaur Park etc.

Pembrokeshire however is really an 'outdoors' county with amazing opportunities for all water sports including Coasteering, Walking, Climbing, Riding & Cycling. The Farmhouse is close to the Iron Man Course and is proving popular as a base for training. Arrival after 2.00pm on the first day & departure before 10.00am on the last please. If you wish to drop 'gear' off before 2.00pm on arrival day please let us know.
