About the Owner

We live in Exeter, Devon (UK) and are an active family with 3 children who love the winter ski-ing/snowboarding season but have been amazed at the beauty of the summer in the mountains and all the activities available to us from white water rafting, walking, climbing, mountain biking and yet also enjoy relaxing by the lake!!

This is a fantastic apartment nestling amongst the mountains with fabulous views and close to ski-lifts, shops and restaurants. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable...just what you need after a day out. We would definitely recommend it and will be visiting again soon. Our children all teenagers said it was their" best ever holiday "!

The apartment was spacious, exceptionally clean and very well equipped. A visit to Pralognan-La-Vanoise is a must as is Champagny le Haut, the area is scattered with beautiful mountain villages. Overall, a beautiful apartment located in a lovely village. We would definitely visit again and would recommend to all. Wright Family.

Lovely apartment, well appointed and attractively furnished. Had a very pleasant few days in Champagny. Whilst in a picturesque village itself there are also many varied attractions within easy reach, mountains, lakes and nearby towns. Thoroughly recommended. John&Janet Wells

A beautiful apartment in a lovely village

  • 5 of 5

This is a great little flat in a really pretty village - one of the nicest villages in the area. There were only two of us using the apartment, but it had space for 4 easily. The kitchen and living room are a really good space, especially with the balacony adjoined.

We were hiking in the local area and had a great time - there are a number of hikes you can do from the door of the apartment, let along driving further afield. We cant comment on many local amenities as everything in the village was closed down as it was such a quiet time of year, but the bakeries in Bozel (the next village down the valley) are amazing.

The apartment is as described, and the kitchen is really well equipped. The owners are really helpful and send us a great information pack about the apartment and area. The agents office is in the village, on the way up to the apartment.

Lovely well equipped apartment close to gondola.

  • 4 of 5

We have just returned from a weeks skiing in Champagny.

The apartment is a good size for a family of four. It is very well equipped and was very clean. They kitchen, dining living area is good size opening onto a spacious balcony with comfy outdoor furniture. A little cold for us to sit out but would be lovely in the summer. It was a luxury to have two bathrooms one with shower and one with a bath and lots of hot water.

The apartment is in a great location for skiing. A short five minute walk to the gondola and ski school meeting area. The village and baker also only short walk away.

The owners were very helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friend and hope to return there soon.

Lovely apartment close to gondola

  • 4 of 5

Well equipped apartment (kitchen had everything we needed for cooking all our meals) with reasonable storage space and plenty of hooks - very useful for ski gear. It was well maintained with pretty curtains and decorative touches Although compact it is roomier than other ski apartments we've been to which have also slept 6. Two bathrooms (1 toilet) were very useful with 3 children (2 teenagers). Lovely view of the mountain from the balcony. Pretty village to walk around with shops/restaurants that you might need. Short walk to get the gondola up the mountain - not too far for our children. We have been used to ski in ski out but this wasn't a problem. The ski area is potentially massive and particularly suitable for beginners/intermediate skiers. The owner was very helpful with queries. Would recommend this to other families who would like a prettier base than a purpose built resort.

This beautiful, traditional Alpine village has a vibrant heart. Inhabited all year round, it is grouped around a 17th century baroque church, perched on a southerly facing slope in the Savoie area of the French Alps.

The village atmosphere is friendly and tranquil. It is a place for those who enjoy the outdoor life throughout the seasons; skiing, boarding, ice climbing, para gliding, walking, cycling, white water rafting, climbing etc. The village boasts a small but select bunch of restaurants. There is a nightclub for the more energetic! There is also a well stocked grocery store and a local Boulangerie open each morning serving delicious French breads and patisseries!
