One double bedded room with views of the Serra do Socorro & Equestrian Centre. One twin bedded room with views of Golf course. All bedrooms have Cathedral ceilings and are bright & sunny. What makes this house unique

Fantastic scenery, very friendly people wherever we go and some lovely weather. The house is spacious, bright and sunny even on the dullest day. We are close to the local town of Torres Vedras as well as having easy access to the main roads to travel, North, South East and West for exploring this beautiful country.

Notes on accommodation: The house is large and sunny, offering a very comfortable base for a family holiday. It is very well equipped and has everything you could want to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Should there be any problems, if you contact the owners, they will do everything they can to get it sorted for you. Outside: There is a small West facing rear garden, with private pool (5 metres x 4 metres). Patio area with large dining table and 6 chairs. Large Sun umbrella, 2 x sun beds, 2 x sun chairs and a Bar-B-Que. There is also a large communal pool located within the complex for your use free of charge. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Our charges include the cost of cleaning, towels and linens. Cleaning and towels changed once per week.

Very impressed with our stay. The house was perfect and had everything we needed.

i would highly recommend staying here to anyone. we loved it.

the instructions on how to get to the house was spot on, the welcome pack was perfect.

the owners kept us informed through every stage of the holiday process and we can't thank you enough.

Gorgeous town house in lovely rural location close to Lisbon. Cant fault it.

The house is beautiful set in a lovely quiet location 30 minutes drive from Lisbon just off the main road so easy to get around. The house has been finished to a brilliant standard with gorgeous comfy beds and all mod cons. It's the best one we have stayed at for luxuries such as curved TV and Jacuzzi bath. The pool is great with. Perfect size for kids to have fun and bathed in sunshine all day. The location is very quiet overlooking the hills and golf course (which is only 25 euros to play and a great course by all accounts). We explored Obidos close by and plenty of other great places to see all within an easy drive. Jennie couldn't have been more helpful with arrangements before our stay and provided all the info needed for a very easy holiday. We would thoroughly recommend this beautiful house to anyone and are going to book for 2 weeks next year.

The beautiful Silver Coast is a 20 minute drive, with lovely sandy beaches. There are Surf schools located at Santa Cruz (20 minutes), Ericeira (30 minutes) and Baleal 40 minutes. The coast stretches for miles & miles in both directions, with pretty fishing villages along the way. The sea can be very rough at times, and swimmers should always obey the Flag rules. Only swim between the flags on a Lifeguard patrolled beach if it is safe to do so. DO NOT SWIM If THE RED FLAG IS FLYING.


Villa D'Este in an easy 30 minute drive from Lisbon Airport and a 3 and half hour drive from Faro Airport. A car is recommended, but there is a local bus service into the Town of Torres Vedras, where you can also catch a Direct route bus to the City of Lisbon.


The village of Turcifal 5 minute drive. Nearest town Torres Vedras 8 minute drive. Lisbon 30 minute Drive. There are a large selection of information leaflets on the local attractions, together with a handy hints booklet for your information, which includes the locations of local Supermarkets and Restuarants.

Further Details:

Apart from the Golf, Beaches and Horse-riding, there are many interesting places to visit. The Dinosaur Museum at Lourinha. The Walled city of Obidos,(a working town) Pena & National Palaces at Sintra. Monasteries at Alcobaca & Batalha. Castle of the Knights Templar at Tomar and the religious shrine at Fatima. All are within easy reach of the house and provide a lovely & interesting day out. The city of Lisbon is also a must see, with Museums, Castles, Pracas (Squares), a cathedral, the monastery of Jeronimos and a very lively waterfront. Across the river Tagus, in Lisbon is the Christ the King statue (inspired by the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro) There are also a number of shopping centres in Lisbon. The Columbo Centre, El Court Engles & Vasco da Gama which is located on the site of the Expo centre. Parque das Nacoes (Park of the Nations) A Large Aquarium is also located here and well worth a visit.
