Homely and quaint, Luz Villa offers spacious, flexible accommodation. Ideal for a large family to spread out and use the whole villa or alternatively it is laid out in such a way that 2 small families can share, with the only shared facility needing to be the kitchen and the pool.

On the ground floor there are 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, lounge, terrace and sun terrace (up a spiral staircase). The lower ground floor has a double bedroom with double doors onto a small terrace by the pool, a small internal single bedroom, lounge and bathroom. The hallway leads to the garage, through a lockable door.

Long summer days can be spent chilling by the pool, exploring the amazing golden coastline and venturing up into the stunning Andalucian mountains.

You can also enjoy Autumn/Winter days in the mild temperatures by exploring the mountains, coast and pretty Spanish villages and come the evening curled up in front of the woodburner, we like to crack open a bottle of red and enjoy some great family time together.

Our local housekeepers are two English ladies and are always on hand should you need anything.

Airport transfers can be arranged.

Thank you for sharing your villa with us. It was an ideal getaway for me and my friends. Lazy mornings by the pool with coffee and strolls around the local shops and beaches was just what the doctor ordered for us busy mums. Thank you Steve & Chris we will hopefully be making this an annual thing.

Had a week there with 3 golfing mates. Villa was ideally located and a reasonable rate. We were able to drive to the 4 courses we played in less than 30 minutes. There's a bar 5 mins walk from the villa before getting a cab to Fuengirola, Puerto Banus or Cabopino. The pool/ garden was great for relaxing. Am planning to book again this year.

A beautiful villa in a peaceful yet convenient location

We have a wonderful time staying at the villa. The place felt like a home from home with plenty of books and dvds and even some of the basic groceries already provided which all helps to get your holiday off to a flying start.

The terrace for dining and the pool area for chilling during the day were perfect.

The supermarket is just a short distance away and the nearby beaches and golf courses make for a wonderful stay.

Luz Villa calahonda spain

We had a fantastic time, at this wonderful villa! Luz villa, is situated close to everything, from a good range of restaurants, to the beach. An ideal spot!

Luz villa, is very spacious, clean and peaceful, ideal for couples and families. The pool is excellent, bbq great! Towels are included and the kitchen is well equipped. ! We would not hesitate in booking here again.

Any queries or questions are dealt with straight away . We were picked up from the airport and returned by Alex who was extremely helpful. We loved it !!!!

villa lux

myself and my family enjoyed property very much

we had a few problems mainly with the surrounding area of the pool

the grass area became very hot in the warm sun and we were unable to walk

with bare foot ,we also were not very happy with the stones to the edging area of the pool

but regardless of these two problems we had a very enjoyable time and would definitely

book villa again

Just Fab

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Luz we stayed for 10nights,the villa is in a very quiet area which was great and plus was fully equipped for us especially having two kids with us which we loved,the pool was a huge hit with all of us and the fact that the villa is so private and exclusive this was a big plus for us also,we lazed about by pool during the day and at night enjoyed a meal and a few drinks out on the terrace,I just loved the fact also that the a/c was top of the range as I have been places and they say a/c and it can be very poor but not at villa luz,I would also like to thank Karen she was so helpful and prompt with her replies back to me there was no delay at all which is excellent and a good sign I would say,We will defo be back next year without a doubt 😁

Possibly the best villa we've stayed in!

Our stay at Villa Luz exceeded our expectations. The entire booking process was stress-free, from Karen's patience with my initial queries, through to the lovely Teresa who met us at the villa and was on hand should there be any problems (there weren't, but it's good to know you can call someone!). Additionally, we were picked up and taken back to the airport by the wonderful Alex, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and offered plenty of assistance. He also arrived bang on time. The most punctual taxi driver I've ever known!

The villa was perfect - clean, private and exceptionally peaceful. The garden and pool gets sun all day, but there are several places to sit in the shade.There is a huge balcony just off the kitchen to sit and eat, as well as a roof terrace with a view. The beds were comfortable and the villa was well-equipped with kitchen essentials, as well as books/DVDs. Teresa prepared a welcome pack of food, wine, water etc, which was a lovely - and much-appreciated - touch.

The villa itself couldn't be better located - a few minutes' walk to a big supermarket and several restaurants. The beach and newly built boardwalk was about a ten-minute walk, past yet more restaurants and shops, and there is a good-sized market just down the road on a Thursday (plus a flea market on Sunday).

Our top tip - the nearby petrol garage is open on a Sunday (when the supermarket is closed) and sells a good selection of food and drink.

Ideal property for the self catering family

We stayed for one week at the property. It is well maintained with a lovely pool for children set in a safe, enclosed private garden. There are four sun loungers and several chairs dotted around the pool. We were met on our arrival by Teresa who provided us with some bread, milk and pastries - a very thoughtful welcome.

The beach at Calahonda is ten minutes walk and the local Super Sol market is just five minutes walk from the house.

There are also some restaurants and bars in the area which means a car is not a necessity. There is plenty of outdoor space at the property as apart from the garden there is a lovely terrace off the living area that gets sunshine for most of the day. Also there is a roof top terrace for a birds eye view of your surroundings!

I would definitely recommend this holiday accommodation to family and friends.

Location

The area is peaceful yet everything you need is within walking distance, including a good choice of restaurants, both Spanish and international. Great sandy beaches, bars, cafes and a supermarket. There are some truly great places to visit which can be accessed by car or public transport such as Marbella, Puerto Banus, City of Malaga, Mijas Pueblo , Seville, Granada and many more. If its excitement and action your wanting then why not try Go-Karting, quad biking or four wheel drive trailing. All are available close by. The Costa Del Sol is of course famous for it's amazing golf courses and there are plenty to choose from within a very short distance of the villa. Villa Luz has everything you could possibly need and really is like a 'home from home'

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the house. There are beaches all along along the coast road with La cala and Cabopino just 5 minutes by car and Puerto Benus and Marbella approximately 20 minutes by car. All are sandy with sun loungers, cafes, bars and some have watersports available.

Travel:

Malaga airport is a 20 - 30 minute drive along the main coast road. Car hire is not essential as there is plenty to do on your doorstep, however the Costa Del Sol is well worth exploring. Public transport is easy to use and frequent.

Malaga Airport has numerous car hire companies to choose from or you can arrange online prior to your arrival.

La Cala : approx 3 miles

Cabopino: approx 5 miles

Benalmadina: approx 15 miles

Puerto Banus: approx 20 miles

Marbella: approx 25 miles

Mijas village: approx 20 miles

Further Details:

Whilst the Costa Del Sol is well known for it's golf there are numerous other activites that take place in the area. Why not enjoy a game of tennis or hire a mountain bike and head off road into the hills.

The house is within walking distance of a large supermarket, bank machines, a variety of bars and restaurants and the beach. Also within walking distance is the local car boot/flea market that appears most weekends.

Within driving distance are numerous wonderful villages, towns and tourist attractions. There's the Dolphin show at Benalmadena as well as the wonderful port where you can sit and watch the boats coming in and out or why not head down to Cabopino where there is a large sandy beach with plenty of watersports, great restaurants and a marina.

Close by there are two waterparks to choose from and both are great for all the family.

If you fancy heading into the mountains then you'll be spoilt for choice with the wonderful little villages you can find. Mijas Pueblo is an unspoilt traditional village perfect for exploring then sitting back with a coffee and watching the world go by.

Outside: Our garden includes: A private swimming pool, new in 2015 astro turf, two patio area's, barbecue, tables and chairs, sun loungers. You'll be pleased to know that because the garden is well established it is very private with virtually no overlook. All is professionally maintained and cleaned. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels (including beach towels) and linen is included. Upon booking your stay we will agree with you how often you require a clean and towel/linen change.
