Guestbook comments from the owner

We love it here! Our third visit has been just as enjoyable as the previous two. The weather has been perfect and once again we leave reluctantly but feeling totally relaxed. Thank you Jacqueline and David for everything. September 2014

GREAT STAY, GREAT WEATHER, GREAT HOSTS. ENOUGH SAID! July 2014

A beautiful peaceful location and a great base for visiting surrounding countryside. Enjoyed Hereford Cathedral and Worcester. Berrington Hall, Croome and Hampton Court were lovely. The Studio has everything we needed and more! Jacqueline and David were perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. We will be back! June 2014

We have enjoyed our short stay in your well appointed accommodation. All the 'home from home' extras - jams, juice etc were very much appreciated. We have taken a leaflet for our friends - more than likely you'll have a visit from them later. We will recommend it! April 2014

Very impressed with The Studio, just right for the two of us, so light and airy. You've thought of everything to make our holiday enjoyable. Booking was easy and provided a lot of details regarding the accommodation etc. The welcoming tray of tea and cake was a lovely touch and your advice, when needed, was gratefully received. Our favourite visits were the Walwyn Arms carvery, Weston's Cider and Farm Park, Hellens Manor and the Morgan Factory. September 2013

We have so enjoyed our stay at The Studio. It has everything we needed (and much more!) - and is set in such beautiful countryside. The combine harvester at work was, of course, an added bonus for B..... Thank you both for your warm welcome - not forgetting the bara brith on our arrival which was delicious. September 2013

Our first visit to Herefordshire and The Studio will definitely not be our last. The Studio offers a homely comfortable base to return to after a day’s walking in this wonderful area which is so quiet and full of beauty at every turn. There is so much to see in the vicinity of The Studio—beautiful quaint churches, peaceful country lanes and magnificent views. Ledbury is a pleasant market town and further afield Hereford. 1. Study the information supplied by Mrs. Riley 2. As a previous visitor suggested ‘Get your boots on’ and sample the area on foot. Looking forward to our next visit. May 2013

Comfortable and pleasantly rural.

  • 5 of 5

Studio barn very well equipped and comfortable. Very acceptable welcome pack with bottle of host's own cider. Lovely garden to sit out and enjoy the birds. Even had a hedgehog rooting about. Well worth a visit as plenty of places to visit, such as Hereford with its wonderful Cathedral boasting the chained library and Mappa Mundi. Ledbury is worth a visit for shopping and architecture and also the Hop Pocket for retail therapy.

A beautiful haven in the herefordshire countryside

  • 5 of 5

We've just come back from a wonderful weekend away at the Studio Barn.It was a much needed break and we absolutely enjoyed our stay the in lush green surroundings with just nature's sounds for company. The Studio is spotless and beautifully appointed; the crockery collection is certainly one to see. Jacqueline is the most wonderful hostess and welcomed us with slices of Victoria Sponge cake and organic apple juice made from apples from her own garden. All in all a wonderfully refreshing stay!

We will definitely be back.
