Sleeps 10. 5 bedroom house. A fantastic property with a lovely open plan living area overlooking the valley with sea views to the side. Only a 5 minute walk from the bustling harbour of Port Isaac-made famous by the TV series Doc Martin. Bay View is in the perfect spot for a great family holiday, with pubs, cafes restaurants and shops all within a short walk.

The 5 bedrooms consist of 2 double (king size beds) and 3 twins. There are 2 doubles and 1 twin are on the ground floor and the other 2 twins upstairs with a joint en-suite bathroom with bath and wc. Downstairs there is also a big family bathroom with large separate power shower and bath, sink and wc.

The house is light and airy and much thought has gone into the interior decoration. There is a new kitchen at the property and this leads onto the dining and living area. From the lounge there are huge glass doors leading out to the terrace making the most of the views and providing an area perfect for dining and relaxing.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and there is a washing machine and dryer at the property. We have tried to think of everything you would need to make your stay as comfortable as possible with a very well equipped kitchen and all the conveniences necessary for a smooth running holiday.

All heating, electricity and lovely egyptian cotton bed linen is included in the price.

The location was great - above the village so good access and parking but only a short 10 min walk down the hill into the cove. The kitchen, dining and living room were great and it had a fantastic lush green view across to the other side of the harbour (and Doc Martin's Surgery). Great sunsets too. The only negative was a rather poor mattress (thin) on a wood slat bed frame on the downstairs king bed bedroom. Not comfortable and could have been better. Otherwise no complaints. Really good rental.

Fantastic large house with parking for 3 cars (which is a rarity in Port Isaac). Only a 5 or 10 minute walk down to the harbour. Spacious property great for families with lovely views out over the valley.

Bay View is great for walkers or surfers.

Coast/Beach:

This is an unspoilt corner of Cornwall with lots to discover. There are numerous coastal walks on your doorstep and plenty of opportunity to get away from it all. The north coast provides rugged scenery, fantastic sunsets and wonderful beaches.

Distances:

Port Isaac fishing harbour is 0.25 km away.

Not far away (20 mins) is the popular surfing beach of Polzeath. Also nearby you can find Trebarwith Strand, another favourite, and further along is Rock where you can catch the ferry across to Padstow - only a 10 minute boat ride away.

Further Details:

In the season you can book fishing or scenic trips from Port Isaac harbour and there is horse riding nearby and of course many beautiful Cornish gardens to visit.
