Boskenna is a lovely 5 bedroomed detached house with fabulous views out to sea. A perfect house for large groups who want to get away from it all. The house offers space and comfort and provides a perfect base for a great holiday. There is also a full size table tennis table in an outside building for your enjoyment.

A delightful and spacious house commanding superb sea views. It is less than a mile to the local cove of Bossiney – a steep walk down but worth it for the great surfing and rock pools when the tide is out. The coastal paths are not far away and the mystical ruins of King Arthur’s Castle at Tintagel are only a mile and a half down the road. Within 2 miles you will find Boscastle, an historic Cornish fishing village of immense charm and character. The excellent surfing beach of Trebarwith Strand is only 5 minutes away by car and Polzeath a further 20 minutes.

This roomy house is wonderful for families or a group of friends and is a marvellous place to relax and unwind .

It consists of an attractive living room, dining room and large kitchen which all have superb sea views. Fabulous patio areas with table and chairs to dine on. The patio looks out to sea and is above the garden where there is plenty of space for children to play in. There is also a full size table tennis table in an outside room for your enjoyment.

Hello, I run a holiday company called Cornish Seaview Cottages which advertises cottages in Cornwall. Having renovated a number of properties in Cornwall and then used them as holiday lettings, I decided to purchase a shell of a house and barn and build a holiday property in France which has had very favorable feedback. We now have a few more properties in France and our Cornish properties are also growing in number. As a small friendly company we have many loyal customers who enjoy staying in our properties and return year after year. We now look forward to welcoming you.

We had a fantastic week at Boskenna (which was helped by amazing weather!). The house is in a lovely location, a short walk from the coast path. The house itself suited our group very well. It was fairly well equipped and tidy. The patio is a great sun trap and looks straight out over the sea. There are some lovely places to visit within walking distance so decent boots are a must.

Beautiful isolation

A holiday with a grown up family isn't always easy to cater for ... you need parking for 2 cars, you need wifi, you need a big table and plenty of comfy chairs. Boskenna has all of these. And views that actually make you want to get up in the morning.

And, of course, Cornwall has something for everyone - beaches, historic houses, fishing villages to cities - and Boskenna gives you access to all of these.

The house itself comes with everything you need, as decorated nicely throughout although the front door takes a bit of getting used to as the lock is a bit quirky. The views from the lounge over the coastline are spectacular - a similar view is available from a number of the bedrooms. The patio is a real bonus if the weather is clement.

If you're looking for a house for a larger party in Cornwall - Boskenna should be right at the top of your list.

Great accommodation

Everything was as promised - even the welcome pack which meant we could have a cup of coffee on arrival before going out to do a shop. Parking for two cars was invaluable and the view from the bedrooms... well, it was almost a pleasure to wake up! The wifi was a bit dodgy at times - but there were 5 of us all trying to get on at the same time!

The house was lovely and clean when we got there (I hope we left it in as good a condition when we left!). There was plenty of cutlery and crockery. It has, quite possibly, the quietest washing machine we have ever come across!

The front door lock is a bit fiddly until you get used to it. But that's the only possible criticism.

The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boskenna is a must see attraction - and the walk to the waterfall nearby is well worth the effort (and it is an effort!)

We'll probably never need somewhere so big again but, if we ever do, Boskenna will be our first choice.

Beautiful house in a perfect setting

Absolutely loved the house, which was easily large enough for our party of 9. We were however disappointed by the standard of cleaning. The skirting boards and lower paintwork in the bathroom and toilet looked like previous guests cleaned their pets nearby, as they were covered in marks, dust and dirt. Corners and skirting throughout the house had cobwebs dirt and dust. The oven had not been cleaned for many a month and all of the kitchen cupboards had crumbs and food splashes in them. There were hardly any matching glasses and far too few tumblers, though the rest of the catering facilities were adequate. The ping pong shed needed a good clean too - the corners were filthy. We were a cushion short for the patio furniture, so it was lucky there were only 9 of us.

Otherwise, the house is in a perfect location and we thoroughly enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets while sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine. We would return, but only if we knew that the cleaning standards had improved.

A really nice house in an excellent position.

Excellent stay - the house is more spacious than it seems in the photos and has quite wonderful views of the coast. Everything was clean and well-maintained - the kitchen equipment was very good and the bedrooms very comfortable. The position of the property - close to the cliff path between Tintagel and Boscastle - was ideal for what we wanted to do (cliff-walking or pottering in both places) and it was nice to be able to walk to the waterfall too. We had a lovely stay and everyone enjoyed it - it is very peaceful too.

The preliminary contacts were very helpful too (by phone and email).

I would certainly recommend it to others and may well want to stay there again.
