Great Location in Collioure

We have recently returned from a wonderful two week late summer break in beautiful Collioure. The accomodation is spacious, well equipped and is located in a quiet residential area just a short walk from the town's beaches, shops and restaurants. Other, larger beaches are easily accessible by car just outside the town and the proximity of the border with Spain is a real plus (we particularly enjoyed a visit to the Dali museum in Figueras). All in all we had a wonderful stay and, as others have said, Chris (the owner) is an excellent host.

Brilliant Family Holiday

Three generations of our family went away together, and the description of the property (& previous reviews) were absolutely correct: we had a lovely holiday & Chris, the owner, could not have been more helpful. We would certainly recommend this property & Collioure itself for a really enjoyable holiday destination. We would not hesitate to go back again.

A Perfect Place To Relax

This house in Collioure is really perfect for a relaxing holiday by the sea.It is set in a quiet residential area and still within walking distance of the centre of Collioure. The rooms are spacious and beautifully equipped with everything one needs. Chris is very helpful if one needs advice or any help. We are definitely going to return - can't wait !

Great holiday great location

We had a great holiday here. Really enjoyed the accommodation which is spacious and first class. Chris on hand to give friendly advice. Great location for a holiday can't wait to return. Only a short walk from the town and beach. Shops nearby and train station nearby means a car is not required once you are there. Rental car sat unused for most of the holiday.

Collioure is a dream location, and the house is perfectly located...a short stroll to the town centre and the beach.

Location

Having lived in 2 houses in the Faubourg part of town I wanted to find a house with more space inside,some outside space and parking yet still within a few minutes walk to the middle of town and the beaches. I live in the whole of the house during the winter and have retained the lower ground floor flat for my own occupation during the summer months.I have seen a lot of the world-love Venice,Sydney,Hong Kong,New England etc but wouldn't want to live anywhere but Collioure.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Collioure has four beaches all within ten minutes walk. Safe swimming. Larger beaches ten minute drive.

Travel:

Well served by Perpignan, Girona, Carcassonne, Beziers and Montpellier Airports. Perpignan approximately 20km. Car not essential but parking available. Collioure also has a regular train service, including services to Barcelona. Local bus service operates all year round for one euro whatever the distance.

Distances:

Collioure centre ville, 500 yards.

Argeles Sur Mer 3 miles

Perpignan 16 miles

Spain 30 minute drive

Further Details:

The village is well served with individual shops and a supermarket with long opening hours, plenty of banks, post office, tourist information, restaurants and bars, boutique shops and a twice weekly local market with excellent range of local produce.
