Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a great stay at the Coach House with our two young children. The cottage is very well equipped and family-friendly too, with plenty of toys and all the baby accessories one might need. We also found it to be perfectly located for exploring Snowdonia, with easy access (i.e., < 30 mins drive) to the many outdoors activities available. Marie gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel right at home upon arrival. Would highly recommend!!

Beautiful Little Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Gorgeous quaint little cottage! Second time here and plan to come back agai! it was so well equipped &cosy just perfect for a winter break. It's rural but still only 10 mins from the local town And supermarkets and just a 10 min walk to the two local pubs. So much to do and see.....it was impossible in just a weekend. Our hosts Ray & Marie were so helpful. Can't recommend this cottage enough! Don't look just book!

the cottage was exactly as described, quaint romantic and set in idyllic surroundings

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was lovely. Really clean and contained lots of small luxuries; welcome drink, books, DVDs, and a huge amount of information to support the attractions in the surrounding area. We only had a weekend but would not hesistate to go back, especially in the spring when it would look beautiful surrounded by the rhodedendrons and camellias of the hosts garden. As for things to do in the area, it would take a long time to see everything, but the area is really good for walking around the cottage setting and immediate area; a really peaceful retreat.

Great Cottage - Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

This is just what we were looking for - a quiet, yet convenient location - to allow us to relax and recharge our batteries. This deceptively spacious cottage sleeps 3 comfortably, and is located behind the owners own property but is private and not overlooked. There are 2 pubs within walking distance and most of the attractions of the area are within 45 minutes or so. We particularly liked the little terrace where we enjoyed an afternoon drink - listening to the sounds of the birds and distant steam trains which run high above the cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and had everything we needed - although we tended to eat out mostly. Tbere are many superb beaches - Black Rock Sands, where you can drive onto the beach, Harlech which was deserted when we visited and another smaller one at Llandanwg... parking is right by the beach and ideal for a BBQ! Highly recommended.

Superb Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved this little gem. Quiet and tranquil cottage down a lovely country lane but just 10mins walk from two great pubs. We wanted for nothing it was so well equipped. Owners were great and so friendly. So easy to get to all the main Snowdonia attractions. Highly, highly recommended!

A hidden gem

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely long weekend at the coach house. It was like a home from home with everything we needed. The location was perfect for bounce below and zip world, Snowdon and lovely beaches at harlec and Porthmadog. We would definitely recommend this cottage to family and friends, and hopefully pay another visit ourselves.
