About the property


Enter Seaward Lodge in to the hallway and already the stunning views can be seen. The large picture window in the living room gives a continously changing view of the skies and the activities in the Solent. The living room is comfortably furnished with sofas and armchairs and a coal effect fire for cosy winter evenings. Further down the hallway, there is a children`s snug with sofa bed and TV which leads in to the dining area. Here there is seating for 10 and leads to the kitchen which also enjoys the views. The kitchen is modern, well equipped with plenty of work surfaces. The conservatory is off the dining area, giving further seating and leads out to the upper deck area. There is also a utility room and downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs the accommodation offers 3 x twin bedrooms, a bunk room and a king size master bedroom with en suite bathroom. There is also a further shower room and WC. Outside, Seaward Lodge sits directly above the beach and sea wall and through the garden.

To book we require a 30% non refundable deposit with £25 admin fee to secure your holiday, the balance + £200 refundable breakages deposit is then due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. If booking withing 8 weeks we require the full balance.

Excellent, large house on beach front

simply superb location right on the beach

This is a beautiful house in one of the best locations in Seaview, right on the beach with breathtaking views across the water. Great for the beach, crabbing on your door step and close to town for early morning coffee. Best view for washing up the dishes I have ever had!!!! We were 2 families of 5 with teenagers and had plenty of space in the house and the 3 bathrooms were appreciated by all. 2 terraces for eating and lounging were well equipped and a real treat and we ate out overlooking the sea every day. Well equipped kitchen and a marvellous vinyl record player which provided hours of amusement and interest from the children. Only way to improve this haven would be to add a gas BBQ. Current one rather small when trying to cater for big numbers.

Amazing property in a brilliant location

One of the best holidays I’ve ever had. Seaward Lodge is perfect for a large family or a group of friends: the 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms gave space for everyone. The huge living room is brilliant with its picture window overlooking the sunrise and (luckily for us) the Super-Moon rise. With the conservatory, three terraces and direct access to the beach, all weather conditions are catered for. Great restaurants within walking distance, and great walks to Ryde, Bembridge and Brading. I liked the photographs and paintings too, this is clearly a much-loved family holiday home, and with good reason. We’ve booked it for next year already.

You can get to the Island either by Red Funnel - Southampton - Eastcowes (45 Mins) or Wightlink Portsmouth to Fishbourne (25 Mins) - 15 mins from Fishbourne to the house, 25 Mins from East Cowes to the house. You can also travel by train and then hover craft, Sea Cat or Red Jet and then by bus or taxi.


Situated in the pretty village of Seaview with paper shop, coffee shop, restaurants and pubs. Larger supermarkets nearby who also deliver.

Access to beach during April to September, the access is then closed but the beach is minutes down the road and the views can be enjoyed all year round.
