George Bernard Show said: "If you want to see heaven on Earth, go to Dubrovnik. "My parents took me here, for the 1st time, in 1969. I met my husband at Dubrovnik University in 1988. Our son (born in 1992) has fallen in love with this city, too. My favourite area is Lapad. In the morning I just put my swimming suit, wrap a towel & come to Lapad Beach in 2 minutes. I enjoy drinking coffee on the beach and swimming. At night I go to the Old Town. Dubrovnik Summer Festival is my favourite event. It takes place from10th of July to 25th of August every summer since 1949., presenting rich and vibrant theatre program w/ the fields in theatre, ballet, classic music and opera. The old city of Dubrovnik and it's ancient monuments, it's renaissance, baroque scenes are the unique stage for all these events & that's what makes Dubrovnik Summer Festival so special. Some theatre program even takes place on the nearby island of Lokrum, which is protected nature's park w/ extraordinary monuments, history & beautiful beaches.
George Bernard Show said in 1929:"If you want to see heaven on Earth, go to Dubrovnik." For me, as well, this city is one of the most romantic, relaxing and beautiful cities in the world. My parents took me here for the first time, in 1969. Since then I have been spending at least a few weeks (last summer 7 months) every year in this pearl of the Mediterranean. I met my husband at Dubrovnik University in 1988 (in that period I spent four lovely years in Dubrovnik). Our son (born in 1992) has fallen in love with this city in his childhood, too. Today our small family runs this decent but interesting business (we paid a fortune for these apartments, so the profit is not high, but instead, the safety of investment should be). We do it with love for this city and people who keep coming to discover and enjoy it, as we do.
MUBERA REPESA purchased this apartment in 2012
We love this area because it's so convenient, close to everything one might need during it's vacation or life generally. But the area is still peaceful and full of pedestrian areas, great for recreation and only 10minutes by bus no.4 to the old city. In January 2012 we decided to invest and buy brand new apartments (as a long, long term investment, but secure one, we hope) in the new complex Dvori Lapad, just by the main Lapad Beach. After a few successful seasons (our guests like our apartments a lot), we are looking forward to the next summer!
Only 50 metres from the main Lapad beach, no stairs to climb, Dvori Lapad is set in a quiet area of Dubrovnik on the Lapad Peninsula. Featuring free parking, elevator and a sun terrace, it offers self-catering apartments with a balconies(partial sea view), free wi-fi internet, air-condition and an LCD satellite TV. Various and numerous restaurants, bars, shops and promenades are in the immediate vicinity. Playgrounds, water sports facilities, diving center, Petka hill, spa and wellness centres are also only steps away. Filled with sights, the UNESCO-protected Old Town is at a distance of 3.5 km(10min by bus no.4), Dubrovnik Bus Station and Ferry Port, with frequent links to numerous Dalmatian Islands are within a 2.5-km reach. Dubrovnik International Airport is 22 km from Dvori Lapad.
As soon as you pay 20% of the total amount due(net of the bank commissions), your booking is guaranteed and you will receive a letter of confirmation. You can modify your booking details up to 4 weeks before your arrival and even get your deposit back (reduced just for the bank transfer commission). The difference of 80% should be paid in cash after your arrival in Dubrovnik.

Every thing you could want would highly reccomend apartment good location to beach and old town
We (aged 24 and 25) stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment for a week and it was great. We used the twin room as a dressing room which meant the bedroom at plenty of space for both of us. It'd definitely be enough room for 4.
The balcony was huge and we spent many hours relaxing on the sun loungers and admiring the view of the buildings on the hillside.
The bathroom was big and clean and the shower was probably the best I have ever used!
Our only issue would be the bed in the main bedroom. It was comfortable but every time we moved it made A LOT of noise. Even the slightest wiggle of my foot was enough to wake us up! It's probably time to replace it.
The apartment is a two minute walk to the beach and five minutes from all other bars and restaurants. The Old Town is a ten minute bus journey away and the buses come very regularly until around 2am. We loved having a base away from the tourist trap of the city.
There is a cinema, bakery (with delicious and cheap pastries/bread), a restaurant and a bar in the complex as well.
Mubera was a wonderful host and even let us use her apartment to hold our bags and sit and rest as our flight arrived a couple of hours before check in time. We ate at the restaurants she recommended (the Taj Mahal was AMAZING but make sure you book in advance). Welcoming and helpful but she gave us our own space.
We would love to stay again.
The apartment was modern, clean and spacious, towels were plentiful and nothing was too much trouble . Mubera the owner met us on arrival, warm and welcoming , gave us a. Very thorough overview of the area and arranged activities and restaurants for us. Mubera answered all queries and ensured we made the most of out stay. Lapad was a delight with the City on its doorstep. Lots to do see, and do, sight seeing, water sports and fantastic scenic walks.
Stayed at these apartments for a week, very high standard ,all mod cons and handy supermarket, bakery and coffee shops on the ground floor. Mubera was very helpful with all information, transfers from airport and excursions. Only a 15 minute bus ride from the Old Town which we visited at least 5 times. Can recommend walking the walls of the old town, do a 1/2 day sea kayak, and visit the islands on a boat tour especially Lopud, also a must the icecream shop in the old town at the Pile Gate entrance, to die for !!. Will hopefully visit again soon. The Dent Family
We were group of three friends who stayed in this lovely apartment for a week. We visited Dubrovnik old city (easily & quickly reached by bus from just outside the apartment) and enjoyed combining this with relaxation by the sea. Perfect! Mubera was very helpful throughout our stay. Excellent week!
We stayed for 6 nights in April with our little girl who was 15months. Mubera the owner couldn’t do enough to help with any questions we had. Everything we needed was supplied, apartment was in a great location, very clean and modern. Great large secure balcony for sunbathing. Would 100% recommend. We are returning again in Sep for our Wedding and some of our guests will also utilise the other apartments. One other thing is the complex itself is very hand with a supermarket, coffee shop, bar, bakery etc so you don’t have far to go if you are stuck for anything.
