Peaceful, Rural Location, 8 Miles From Coast & the Norfolk Broads

Kings Beck Barn offers luxurious, spacious accommodation and provides the perfect venue for family holidays or a break with friends. Sleeps 10 + 2. There is plenty of space for all with two sitting rooms (with TV & DVD players), four bedrooms (two of which are en-suite) , a family bathroom and a large open-plan kitchen. The enclosed garden has two sun terraces with garden furniture, a private hot tub and provides stunning views over the Norfolk countryside. There is also a table tennis table & table football available to guests. Visitors are welcomed with a homemade cake, a bottle of wine, tea, coffee & milk & fresh flowers.

The barn is ideally situated to explore the stunning beaches of the north Norfolk coast (8 miles), the Norfolk broads & the cathedral city of Norwich. The national trusts Blickling Hall & Felbrigg Hall are both within six miles and the Dinosaur Park and children's adventure park Bewilderwood are within fifteen miles.

The market town of Aylsham (3 miles) provides essential shops and tea rooms and Waitrose, Tesco's and Sainsbury's are all located within 5 miles and deliver to the barn.

Kings Beck Barn is owned by a family farm & is managed by me (Sarah), farmer's wife & mother of two.

I take great pride in the barn & happily bake a homemade cake for the guests as well as providing fresh flowers, tea & coffee (with 1/2 a pint of milk) & a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge.

Fantastic place to stay!!

The accomodation is lovely and certainly luxury! The rooms are huge, the style is fantastic and the setting is peaceful! There is loads to do in the surrounding area, including stately homes, Bewilderwood, Dinosaur Park, numerous beaches, country pubs, you'll never be bored! Thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here and would happily go back!!

From the Owner

Kings Beck Barn is owned by the family farming business and is situated on the outskirts of the working farm. With the changes in agriculture the farm was no longer used for storing farm machinery or livestock. In 2010 the barn was renovated into a beautiful holiday home with stunning views across the Norfolk countryside. Although set in a rural location, the barn is only 3 miles from the traditional market town of Aylsham (and the National trust property Blickling Hall) and is only 8 miles from the sandy beaches of the North Norfolk coast.

Nearest Airport : Norwich Airport at 13 Miles Nearest Train : North Walsham at 3 Miles Nearest Beach : Cromer & Mundesley at 8 Miles Car: necessary


The North Norfolk coastline provides some beautiful beaches. With the great sandy beaches at Brancaster, Holkham & Wells & more locally West Runton, Mundseley, Overstrand, Cromer, Eccles-on-Sea, Sea Palling and Waxham. Alternatively you can have a go at catching Norfolk Crabs from Blakeney, Wells or Cromer.

Mundseley is the closest beach to the barn & is 8 miles away.


Norwich airport is 13 miles away. Norwich Rail Station is 16 miles & has regular trains from London Liverpool Street. North Walsham Railway is 8 miles away.

A car is advised.


The market town of Aylsham is 3 miles away. There is a traditional pub 1.5 miles from the barn which serves food.

Further Details:

There are lots of fabulous pub & restaurants locally including the Gunton Arms, Morston Hall, The Buckinghamshire Arms, The Walpole Arms, The Recruiting Sergeant & Black Boys.

Aylsham (3 miles) is a traditional market town providing small independent shops; butchers, green grocers, a bakery, a deli, coffee shops, banks, a post office, a chemist, a couple of clothes shops, pubs & restaurants & of course supermarkets. For Supermarkets there are; Waitrose (4 miles), Tesco's (4 miles) & Sainsbury's (5 miles).

Booking Notes:
Please Contact Owner. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance + a £250 damages deposit is due 8 weeks before arrival. Cheque, bank transfer or PayPal payments are the only acceptable payment methods.

Changeover Day:
Changeover in peak season are on Fridays. Short breaks can be made in off peak periods for a minimum of 3 nights. The barn is available from 4pm on your arrival date until 10am on your date of departure.

There is a large enclosed garden which backs onto arable land and lots of private walks which lead from the back door! Private hot tub available & table tennis table for your entertainment. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are permitted.
