Cottages in Constantine, Helford River, Nr. Falmouth, Cornwall, England - Peaceful Location, Tennis, Wild Swimming And Fishing, Dinghy,
The Flower House is a pretty stone barn conversion set around a farmyard with three other holiday cottages, surrounded by attractive gardens. The farm itself offers 130 acres of fields and woodlands in an area of outstanding natural beauty leading down to a private quay on the Helford River. The well known pub Trengilly Wartha is five minutes walk away and the thriving village of Constantine is a short walk across the fields. An all weather tennis court is available and a rowing dinghy is kept at the quay. The cottage is modern and comfortable and has a terrific wood stove for cosy evenings. Many lovely beaches are a short drive away as are Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick Gardens. Well behaved pets are very welcome.
About the Owner
The Pugh family have been living at Goongillings since the fifties. Charlie runs the farm organically so the wildlife and flowers are spectacular. His latest enthusiasm is trying to entice an osprey with a special nesting pole. Fingers crossed. Our family grew up loving the freedom and peace and glorious scenery. The farm is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and the tidal Helford River is a constant source of adventure and natural interest. It is such a special place, that we have been very happy to share it with others since we converted the first of our four Barns twenty five years ago. We love Goongillings and we want to keep it beautiful.
From the Owner
“The Farm has been in the family since the fifties. It is spectacularly beautiful and very peaceful, yet has easy access to a wonderful pub down the lane and all the rest of Cornwall's glorious scenery, beaches and gardens.”
