Why Roger & Zoe Bulkeley chose Dunwich

We really love the area, its a complete change of pace, so relaxing to stay and unwind, plenty of great walks for the dog. Lots of areas of interest with plenty of things to do all within a short drive and only just over 2 hours drive from London.

A great place to stay

  • 4 of 5

We all enjoyed staying at the Old Post Office - despite the ghastly weather. Did find the house rather cold when we arrived but soon turned up the heat! The stairs were rather daunting - but nothing you can do about that. It was a family gathering - and everything worked out very well.

Hope we can return one day without all the snow!

Lovely property; fabulous location.

  • 4 of 5

Lovely week spent at The Old Post Office with our 3 young kids. Location is great; the views out to Dunwich beach are stunning. Having The Ship (pub) next door was ideal! Very peaceful, we enjoyed listening to the sea and the odd owl at nighttime. Our kids really enjoyed the back rooms- their 'secret rooms'! There is no parking allocated but that wasn't a problem, plenty of street parking available. The stairs are very steep but there are two stair gates provided. Roger (owner) made booking very easy; would recommend!

Great place to stay to get away from it all

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoy staying in this house with the family, it is well equipped and very comfortable. It's great just to get away from it all with the beach close by and pub a few doors away!

Top marks to the owners as everything you need is there.
