About the Owner
Hi all holiday makers. Our holiday home in Poulshone has given us wonderful family times together and we are available to help and advise all our guests.
About the owner We live in Dublin and, over
the years, with our large family, we have had less than perfect holidays in rented accommodation and because of this we have created a 5 star haven where you can completely relax and enjoy your holiday come rain or shine.
Why the owner choose a property in Poulshone
We love Poulshone because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are some beautiful beaches and Wexford and Gorey have a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible from Dublin or Rosslare Harbour.
We supply all beach towels etc .........tra

I would highly recommend this house. It was ideal for our family holiday. With 6 adults and 3 small children the 3 double bedrooms and a fourth with 3 single beds, and the 2 bathrooms really suited our purpose. It was so comfortable with every facility we could wish for provided, including beach towels and some playthings for the children. The garden was a picture with plenty of space to BBQ and eat outside as well as space for the children to play. The cove at Poulshone, just a few minutes walk from the house, was lovely but there were long stretches of sandy beaches just a drive away. There was lots to see and do in the area, too. Gorey has everything you need, several big supermarkets, individual bakeries, butchers, cafes and restaurants. We visited Wells House, lots for all the family to do, and Amber Springs Hotel for swimming pool and play areas. Further away, the Dunbrody Famine Ship at New Ross is well worth a visit, as is the 1798 Rebellion Exhibition near Enniscorthy.
A great holiday
I had the pleasure of renting this house in July 2014. The owners are very welcoming , and very easy to deal with. The house is comfortable, spacey and just fantastic for a big family. We were 5 adults, and needed room for visiting relatives during our stay. There is ample linen, and towels, even towels for the beach ( a very thoughtful touch ! ) . The huge sitting room looks out onto a beautiful garden, where the barbecue can facilitate 10 people no problem. Garden furniture and of course the TV which we did use one night to see the world cup ! The comfort this house provides is one of its winning features. If there is one small detail that could be approved , it would be to have more crockery and kitchen utensils. The area is absolutely gorgeous, the beach a 10 minute stroll, and a lovely place to swim. We all love swimming so this was a big plus. There is fishing, walking, pubs and small villages all along this piece of coastline. I highly recommend this part of the world for a holiday.
we stayed her for a week in October half term. Booking was easy we were met by the owners on arrival who had thoughtfully provide us with a few essentials. We had 3 children under 7 and a disabled grandparent the house was perfect with a main living cooking dining area with two bedroom off to the right and two to the left each with their own bathroom. This layout is perfect for two families or extended families as neither one disturbs the other. The house was beautifully presented with eveything you need.
We did my have the best weather but managed to walk to the beach 5 mins walk for little legs a couple of time to collect shells. We visited Wells house but again missed the adventure play area due to rain.
We went to the Irish here rage museum which is well worth a visit about 45 mins drive for all ages and the food is nice there to. We visited wexford and Enniscortney castle
there is a teaco in Gorey (10mins ) for supplies and we went to Dunnes the department store near tesco to buy wellies. We visited Dublin once but it did take us nearly 2 hours to get there so it was a long daya and we dos not see as much as we would have liked. court town harbour is 8 mins drive and with amusements, bowling and soft play the kids enjoyed this with nice weather there are more activities avaliable.
The weather did not spoil the holiday we were not looking for an action packed holiday but a relaxing break. The house is perfect for a relaxing beach break and nice to spend time in if the weather is not great.
We hope to Vist again.
