A home from home in Kalkan! In a gated, private complex with sea views. 2 bed / 2 bath. Cosy and friendly. One minute to a shops and restuarants.

A lovely, homely, holiday apartment with two spacious bedrooms (one en suite) and two shower rooms. There is also a large comfortable sofa bed in the living area, a fully equipped kitchen / dining area and a utility area. Fully air conditioned. The property is tastefully furnished with many pieces hand made by local craftsmen and much original local art. The apartment is right in the old town, but set back from the road, so it's quiet and secluded but just a couple of minutes stroll from the cobbled streets, craft shops and restaurants. You can easily reach the harbour and town beach in less than five minutes, so no need for any expensive Kalkan taxis!

All linen and towels provided and you'll receive a welcome pack with water, milk, cheese, eggs, juice, salad etc on arrival.

Our property manager in Kalkan is on hand for any little emergencies too!

We are David and Sam and we've been visiting Kalkan for more than 12 years now.

We bought this apartment off Sam's dad as we wanted to continue to visit and bring our children here as we have such great memories of this lovely town.

This is our little home away from home, so we really hope you enjoy it. We're always on hand for any questions.

We think our apartment is so great as you can nip to the shop within a minute, stroll into town within two and be on the beach within five.

The terrace is a great place to relax too, or dive into the pool if you've come back from a walk up to the market or a day out.

It's a private, gated small complex where you'll be able to relax and feel confident that your children are in sight!

Outstanding Family Accommodation in pefectlocation

Just returned from two weeks in the Lyla Apartment in Kalkan’s picturesque old town. The apartment is really outstanding, its quiet, unusually spacious and tastefully furnished with lovely stained wood furniture throughout and quite a number of wall prints by a local artist. Centrally placed in the large principal living area is a central chunky pine dining table, dining chairs and big comfy sofas. Both bedrooms are similarly comfortably furnished and the toilet/shower rooms large. A functional fitted kitchen area is well equipped with crockery, glasses and cutlery (lots of plastic cups etc for younger visitors who can also enjoy the large selection of colourful beach buckets, spades, noodle floats and shiny footballs).

Outside there are fantastic views over the ever sparkling Kalkan bay and virtually straight ahead lie Kalkan’s famous two little islands of Mouse and Snake. Some large flowering bougainvilleas surround your way to a very large private terraced courtyard - white wrought iron gates keep the terrace secure and child safe.You’ll find the apartment’s sun loungers, wrought iron table and chairs all close to the swimming pool. From this terrace there are amazing panoramas out over the bay and curving around you see the array of villas climbing the foothills up from the newer part of the village.

The apartment’s elevated location is ideally and centrally placed (no need for pricey taxis !)…. for either a short wander down through the Old Town area’s cobbled lanes with its array of delightful restaurants and family friendly bars or perhaps meandering a bit further down to the beach and the harbour. Local shops are plentiful and close by, so you can pop down for your freshly baked still warm local bread each morning before breakfasting on the terrace, just soaking-in the peace and watching the yachts and gullets leisurely sailing in the distance.

Yes my wife Nancy and I both highly recommend a stay at the Lyla Apartment, Kalkan.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

This is a great apartment with terrace and pool - it's shared but only with a few other flats and we mostly had it to ourselves. Beautiful views over the sea on one side and mountains on the other. The apartment was clean and well equipped, and was nice to arrive to a welcome pack of food to get us started.

It's a great location just a few minutes walk into the old town and 5-10min walk to the local beaches. There are supermarkets etc nearby. It is on a fairly busy road but the apartment is set back so not an issue at all. We found it really helpful having so many recommendations for good places to eat or get takeaway as well as suggestions for day trips etc.

I would highly recommend it!

A fantastic apartment in a superb location.

We have just had a wonderful 10 days in Kalkan with our two young daughters. The apartment is perfectly located, as close to the Old Town as you would want to be, with terrific views out to sea and across the rest of the town. It is very well appointed, clean, modern, spacious and well equipped. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time and because it gets so much sunlight it was always warm. The terrace meanwhile was the perfect place to either sunbathe or to enjoy lunch or dinner, whilst taking in the sea views. If you want to eat out then all of Kalkan's best bars and restaurants are just on your doorstep. The pebbled town beach is small but beautiful and the amazing white sands of Patara beach are just a short drive down the coast. The property manager Sam was fantastic to deal with, as was the local manager Hakan. I couldn't recommend Kalkan or this apartment enough.

Excellent apartment

We had the most amazing holiday here, Kalkan is a fantastic town and the apartment had everything we needed, clean, comfortable all in all a home from home. Sam was great to deal with and Hakan the local manager was great to deal with. Could not have been in a better location with access to some of the best restaurants we have ever eaten in anywhere!

Kalkan town beach is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

A clean white pebble beach in a stunning bay.

Sun beds/umbrellas can be hired.

There are several good cafes/restaurants for snacks/drinks and a children's play area.

The stunning sandy Patara beach, set amongst historic ruins can be reached by car/taxi or dolmus in 20 minutes. Sunbeds etc for hire as well as a great beach cafe.


The nearest airport is Dalaman and is about ninety minutes or so away by road.

Transfers range from private and shared taxis to mini buses and coaches.

All can be pre-arranged with our concierge if you wish.

You don't need to hire a car but it's an easy and beautiful drive and gives you the chance to explore the region if you want to get out and about.

Again, our concierge could help arrange this.


Kas which is a lovely, larger harbour village about 15-20mins along coastal road or venture inland to the villages of Yesilkoy, Islamlar with their fresh trout farms and mountain views and the journey to Bezirgan passes by Lycian rock tombs (30mins). Fethiye and its huge market (about 1 hr). Beautiful breezy Patara beach (25mins) has many ancient ruins. The sunken city of Kekova can be reached by boat and ferry's from Kas to the nearby Greek Island of Mies also known as Castelloriz (1 hr).
