Excellent Place For A Relaxing Break

Stunning apartment, great condition, all the expected amenities (and a few beyond) - couldn't complain at all.

Amazing balcony view - we even saw dolphins from it.

Very nice little town - a little walk away - can be a steep walk back if hot or not good with walking, but is also a couple of minutes drive with lots of free parking.

Very good restaurants - fantastic for fish and sea food. I could recommend some very highly, but will leave you to explore. One important tip - book a table for the following evening - a number of them you won't get in on the night otherwise.

Not too dificult at all to get to from Faro airport (allow an hour). And very quick to get the layout of the roads and explore.

Lovely Apartment with Fantastic Views

Had a wonderful week long stay at the end of March 2017. The apartment is located on a quiet road a few minutes drive from Luz centre. It is in a lovely largely secluded location on a hillside with amazing panoramic views from the balcony. There is an abundance of parking on the large cobbled area immediately behind the property, where the entrance is facing up the hill away from the sea. The apartment has everything you could want, large seating / dining area with big leather sofas and huge TV, well equipped kitchen and spacious bedrooms. Outside there is a balcony with with BBQ where despite the early spring time of year, we managed to have a couple of BBQ's and evening say outside. The apartment was beautiful clean when we arrived and even when the weather got a bit chilly in the evenings (and on one day of very stormy weather), there was a couple of portable radiators and fan heaters to warm things up.

If you are thinking of staying here, I would say a car is a must, you could walk in to Luz centre, but it would be a bit of a trek, and coming back up the hill would be a bit more than a pleasant stroll.

Luz it's self has many lovely restaurants and a small beach front with a couple of cafes etc. Driving round the narrow streets is exciting and a little bit scary if your not used to it. Luz is also a great base for exploring the Algarve. There are wonderful drives out to Sagres on the south western tip along the coast, and traveling towards Spain (we went as far as Villamoura except when driving back to the airport in Faro). Really nice drives up in to the mountains to Monchique and the highest point in the Alargarve (Serra de Monchique) where there are amazing views back out to the coast from 3000 ft.

If we were coming back for this sort of holiday, we wouldn't look anywhere else.

WOW - Dream Holiday in fantastic Apartment!

We had an amazing time in Luz.

Everything was better than ever expected. Our holiday started when we arrived at the apartment which was out of this world. The location was perfect with a short, pleasant walk into Luz shops, beach and restaurants.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped for our stay. The pool was very private as only being used by a handful of people.

This set the tone for our holiday in Luz, would highly recommend this apartment in Luz to anyone. I have recommended to friends already!!

Lovely clean apartment. Fabulous views and quiet area. Too cold to swim in pool but it was very inviting. Fully equiped kitchen. If pushed to critisize it needs some low lamps or better lighting in lounge. However wouldn't hesitate to return. Owner extremely pleasant and helpful and always available by phone. Good parking. 10 minute stroll into Luz. Fab cliff walk into Burgau.

The Perfectly Peaceful place to see the Algarve!

A beautifully well equipped apartment, fantastic views, large clean pool and gardens, felt more like a private villa & pool than an apartment! Great amenities and position commanding panoramic views of the sea - great wifi (happy teens!), a/c, fans & balcony! Perfect place to explore the Algarve - we loved the beaches and coves to the west - under 10 mins drive away. The mountains were also a lovely day out eating Piri Piri chicken with another great panoramic view! Couldn't get a more helpful owner who was happy to answer any questions, be flexible with arrival/departure and lots of great suggestions for visits, restaurants etc. Would definitely recommend to friends/family and will go back again if we can!

Extremely relaxing......

A very impressive, comfortable, relaxing & most importantly quiet place to stay. I found the apartments location to be well situated with commanding views from the balcony which is a bonus for an evening drink before the 15 minute walk down to the town for a bite to eat.

The apartment has all you need to act as great base for the stay including a well equipped kitchen so you can cook if you wanted to, there's even a washing machine! There's a very clean pool area and garden area and wifi!

Luz itself has a great variety of restaurants & snack bars to suit all budgets, the beach is large and child friendly.

I would have no hesitations in recommending this as a place to stay in Luz and I will be looking to book again in the near future.

The apartment is located within just a 10 minute walk from the beautiful beach of Praia da Luz. Offering safe swimming and a wide range of water sports. The pretty beaches of Burgau and Salema are a 5-10 minute drive from Luz. Lagos is just 6km from Luz and offers a fantastic sweeping beach Meia Praia and several small beaches with great beach bars. For those wishing to travel a bit further the beaches along the west coast are definitely a must see and are approximately a 30 minute drive.

Lagos is a beautiful historic town with a wonderful marina and beaches and is just 6km away.

Lagoa offers the popular waterpark 'Slide and Splash' and is a 40km drive.

Alvor is a quaint fishing village with cobbled streets and is a 30km drive.

Monchique is a beautiful town in the mountains and is a 86km drive.
