Well equipped very spacious beautiful view

Unfortunately upon arriving at the apartment we realised that the adjoining flat was being totally refurbished so we suffered from 11 hours of building work a day! Richard, the owner, was great and immediately reimbursed us some of the rental so I won’t let that cloud my judgement. The property itself is situated in the suburbs of Luz and would normally be very quiet and surrounded by large villas (some still being built which is worth checking) and lush gardens. It’s quite a walk into Luz which was a struggle with a 2 and 7 year old and worth bearing in mind (there is plenty of parking in Luz if your not drinking). The pool was too cold for us but the weather wasn’t great and looks like it would be good closer to the main season. I’ve never stayed in such a well appointed holiday let - it had everything, it is furnished to a very high standard and is very spacious with a good sized terrace/balcony and another smaller one off the main bedroom all showcasing the apartments best feature which is the view of the ocean. I have really struggled with whether or not to give 5 stars but I think the unseasonably cold/wet weather and building work won’t allow me to! The flat itself probably deserves 5 stars so perhaps the loss of one is due to there being inconsiderate neighbours who choose to carry out building work during the Easter holidays!! Richard was also very helpful, quick to respond and friendly. John and family.

Modern, we'll appointed, spacious apartment with beautiful views on the outskirts of Luz. Quiet location, 15 minute walk to the centre. Owner responded quickly to all our enquiries and gave us useful information on the resort, the surrounding area and helpful tips on car hire. We preferred the beach in Burgeau as it was less crowded, we walked over the headland to it which was lovely. Our favourite restaurants were the Dolphin, Chica's, Alorro and Ondaluz. Car hire is a distinct advantage. We would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Stunning views, great location, relaxing and very comfortable, well-equipped apartment

We really enjoyed staying in your beautiful home overlooking the ocean. We saw dolphins from the balcony and enjoyed swimming in the large pool. Also loved hiking on the trails above the ocean, and into Luz for a coffee on the passeio. We found it to be a very well-equipped, nicely furnished and comfortable vacation apartment, in walking distance to town and the beach. The owner was very helpful and gave us great ideas about what else to do in Luz and the area. Quiet and relaxing - we will definitely be back! Thank you, Richard!

The apartment is located within just a 10 minute walk from the beautiful beach of Praia da Luz. Offering safe swimming and a wide range of water sports. The pretty beaches of Burgau and Salema are a 5-10 minute drive from Luz. Lagos is just 6km from Luz and offers a fantastic sweeping beach Meia Praia and several small beaches with great beach bars. For those wishing to travel a bit further the beaches along the west coast are definitely a must see and are approximately a 30 minute drive.

Nearest Motorway - A22, 2km

Car hire recommended if you like to adventure otherwise bus and taxis services available in the centre of Praia da Luz.


Faro airport is 90km to Praia da Luz and is less than an hours drive.

Praia da Luz and all it's facilities are within easy walking distance of the apartment.

Lagos is a beautiful historic town with a wonderful marina and beaches and is just 6km away.

Lagoa offers the popular waterpark 'Slide and Splash' and is a 40km drive.

Alvor is a quaint fishing village with cobbled streets and is a 30km drive.

Monchique is a beautiful town in the mountains and is a 86km drive.
