A comfortable well appointed idillic cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed (3 adults) for 11 nights and felt right at home from the start. As UK visitors we appreciated access to free wifi, all UK freeview channels. The beds were comfy and the cottage is tastefully decorated with plenty of space for clothes. excellent showers with plenty of hot water, heatingon tap as necessary (there were some colder nights in June!). Dot and Paul were close on hand to see if we needed anything. A welcome pack on arrival of bread milk and wine was appreciated. Great fan oven. Bellac is great centre for Limousine area only 30 ins to Limoges for example but we found loads of interesting towns and the Richard the Lionheart trail stretched for miles full of castles./chateau and pretty river villages. The Cruz valley is also worth a trip. Had a great time and the cottage provided a great base.

Lovely

Lovely village house, comfortable beds, nice showers and workable kitchen. Our hosts Paul and Dot were brilliant and very welcoming but respected our privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer if we could. Lovely village and area. Thank you Paul and Dot.

Just one minute walk from the river Vincou this pretty cottage is ideal for a stay in Bellac.

Immaculately clean, cosy, extremely well equipped with comfortable beds and very tasteful décor. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Home from home

An extremely comfortable and well equipped, traditional French cottage. Very clean and well maintained. Books, jigsaws, wifi and English TV all available to help one relax in the evening. Sunny, pleasant courtyard for al fresco breakfast, lunch and tea.Owners and agents very helpful;- welcome wine and other food on arrival. Great location;- short stroll from river and cafe bar and lots of quiet roads and paths for cycling (road and mountain) and walking as well as municipal outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. Easily accessible by train from London/rest of Britain. Blond/Blond Hills, Mortemart, Lake Pardoux and Le Dorat all well worth a visit. I will/have highly recommended this cottage to family and friends. Recommended for over 40s, families with teenagers, walkers and cyclists.
