Simply Stunning

  • 5 of 5

Can Fe Sol is an absolutely beautiful house in a very tranquil setting. The finca is perfectly located at the top of a beautiful village overlooking the hills of Galilea. It's in walking distance of two charming tapas in a classic Mallorcan square. Equipped with all the modern conveniences the bedrooms are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen/ living room is beautifully decorated and very well equipped- although you won't spend much time inside! We had many a jolly evening on the terrace in the evening sun having drinks and BBq's. The owners have set it up very well for young families. It is also in driving distance 15 mins of some superb beaches. Highly recommended. It is a beautiful and relaxing spot in a very busy world.

Stunning Finca

  • 5 of 5

We chose this finca as it was in the same location as the venue of our daughter's wedding at Castell Son Claret. Our family of 4 plus our 3 close freinds from new Zealand stayed and had the most wonderful week. Everything was perfect at the finca - beautifully furnished from the bedrooms , the bathrooms, to the pool - even an induction hob in the kitchen - fantastic when used to coooking on a slow old Aga!! The Finca is quite hard to reach - up a mountain road and then at the top of a village with very narrow and steep lanes - so be prepared for this - hire an automatic car! the views are amazing and even in the heatwave, there seemed to be a pleasant breeze on some days. The air conditioning was great - and lovely and quiet. Becasue we were with friends we didn't go out too much - we did a huge shop in palma Nova and then had bbq's ! We did go walk down to the restaurant by the church in the village one evening and had a lovely paella and tapas. I would love to return to Can Fesol but i do think its a place to go and be prepared to stay put as the roads in and out are quite tricky and come a bit tiresome if you only have one driver! Great to go with friends - we did and loved every minute of our stay - thank you so very much! there are some great walks from the Finca if the weather is not too hot! Our son took his road bike but alas the heat proved too much and he only got down as far as Es Capdella!

The most glorious of fincas! Perfect

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful spot this was! The views and location were incredible and the finca was incredibly well designed - such fantastic attention to detail.

We were cycling in the area and you couldn't get much better in terms of location. Plus you can dip in the pool afterwards. Brilliant. I'd go back in a heart beat.

A cyclists dream pad

  • 5 of 5

I would rather not write a glowing review like this as I fear it will mean the Finca will soon be booked back to back year on year, but I am sure it will anyway and concluded that the owners deserve it for the effort they must have put in to making this place so special. I stayed here with a group of cyclists for some pre-season training ahead of a hectic season of racing. In the midst of a long winter in the UK we were in desperate need of bike miles, sun, good food and easy living. The Finca served up in spades. Location, location, location…this Finca has it. Tranquillity at the Finca yet a short stroll to the delightful square in Galilea for some locally brewed beer and paella at Bar Parroquial to fuel the next days riding. The epic climbs of Sa Calobra and Puig Major and the spectacular north coast road are all within striking distance, but for me some of the best riding is on traffic free roads that weave up, down and around the hills that surround the Finca. The Finca is beautifully furnished with a real attention to detail. This place is a real gem for cyclists or indeed anyone looking for some easy living.

Escaping the rain in the UK!

  • 5 of 5

I am based in London and live a hectic life so my time off is very important to me and with the bad weather we have been experiencing recently in the UK it seemed the perfect time to get away for a week.

Mallorca is an Island that I have been visiting for years and this amazing setting was the perfect location for a week with family and friends. We had 5 days of sunshine and although it wasn't sunbathing weather it felt like a perfect spring weather.

The property is very spacious and you really do get a sense of being away from everything although a short journey away you are by the sea and all the trappings that has to offer with restaurants etc.

The local village is stunning with a great atmosphere and some great little local restaurants and they even pretended to understand my awful attempt at speaking Spanish.

Can't recommend the place enough and I will certainly be looking to go back in the summer!

From the Owner

I found the property while cycling through the village while on holiday in Majorca in 2013. We loved the area and when we saw the villa we knew it was perfect for us. I've been coming to the Island for all 32 years of my life and my grandparents both had flats in Pageura (a few miles away on the beach) my parents still own one of the flats.

Activity and Interests

Special interest:

Out of season the property is very popular with artists - the village has an artist colony! It's also idea for walkers and perfect for cyclist. The British owner is a keen cyclist and found the property on a morning cycle through the village.

There are over 20 beaches within a 15 minute drive from the Villa and the ports of Andratx and Santa Ponca.

It takes between 25 - 30 minutes to arrive at the Villa from the airport. You can hire a car from the Airport or a taxi will be around 40 Euros.

Puigpunyent, 4km.

Calvia, 6km.

Cap Della, 4km.

Further Details:

There are 3 lovely little restaurants and cafes in the village that is a 5 minute walk from the Villa. Supermarkets, banks and petrol stations in Calvia and a little further away hundreds of seaside restaurants.
