Paradis Au Château Français

Wow, I cannot express how picturesque the French countryside is which surrounds this beautiful Château which least to say belongs amongst its beautiful settings. It is a postcard landscape on every turn.

The area where the Château is located is only a short drive to the most beautiful of coastal resorts and the city of Bordeaux.

Also if the plan is to stay by the newly refurbished pool for the day, local bakery, supermarket and other shops are only a 15 minute drive into Mirambeau.

If its a local drink you are after, look no further than the White Horse pub which caters for both local french and English residents and the cuisine is second to none.

As for the Château, it sells itself. You could call it the downton abbey of southern france with all the original architecture of the previous farmhouse restored to its former glory with all modern amenities (sky tv / dishwasher etc). The pictures do not do this Château justice.

There are also plenty of walks you can take through the beautiful vinyards and fields to admire the breathtaking landscapes. We did this every other day and it was probably our best memories of the holiday.

If you have read this review and you do not take this opportunity then it is my gain as another week becomes open so I can return as this is a very popular attraction.

Owner's Response: Paul, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, and the house. The wine must have been good too, Downton Abbey is a flattering comparison but a little over the top, maybe it is best to let the photos speak for themselves for a more accurate picture. Look forward to you staying again.
