About the Owner

Mike and I fell in love with the house and barns at Leasowes Farm in early 2012 and finally moved in later that year to much renovation and repair work. During the past few years, we have been delighted to welcome many families and couples to stay in the small apartment attached to the Barn and feedback from visitors has been excellent.

We used this as our base for our first family holiday. The couple who own the farm were lovely and set up our room to accommodate our 17 week old. The place was clean and had everything you needed to cook. Close to town, just a 45 min walk or no time in the car. I advise parking at the public car park at the race course which is £1 for the day! Then from there you can explore the town. Lots of activities to do, castle, church hospital, and Stratford just down the road. I have no problem recommending this place.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the well equipped apartment. It's in a peaceful and tranquil location and our hosts were friendly and welcoming.

From the Owner

The apartment is tastefully decorated and has a high beamed ceiling in the kitchen and living area, a well appointed double bedroom and a newly renovated bathroom. Set in the middle of fields with a large paddock at the rear, it feels as if we are miles from anywhere, yet the town of Warwick is just down the road and Stratford, Leamington Spa and Kenilworth are less than 20 minutes away. By negotiation, there is also access to the large Barn Room which connects to the apartment and allows visitors to use the patio and paddock. Great for families - use of the table tennis table is available on request

Further Details:

Warwick is wonderful. For such a small town centre, there is an incredible selection of restaurants, pubs and shops – too many to list. We’re guessing you already know about Warwick Castle – famous as the best maintained medieval castle in the country – but we’re just as keen to tell you about St Mary’s church at the top of the town, equally full of historical significance and boasting amazing views (from the bell-tower) over Warwickshire. There are also numerous walking and cycle-routes through beautiful countryside including some fabulous canalside treks.

  • Notes on accommodation: The Singing School Warwick is also located at Leasowes Farm. We do not believe that this will impact on the enjoyment of your holiday in any way but please be aware that there are students coming and going throughout the day. We have great facilities for musicians visiting during the many music festivals in and around Warwick. Musical events are occasionally held in our Barn Room so please check dates carefully if you do not wish to visit at those times. However, you would be very welcome should you wish to get involved! Outside: The farmhouse and apartment sit in two acres of private land with a large rear paddock with seating area and barbecue for visitors' use. In the summer, it's lovely to sit at the table and chairs outside the front of the apartment and enjoy beautiful views across open countryside. There is also a table tennis table and cross-trainer available on request. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are changed every week or as requested.
