This spacious two bedroomed 2nd floor apartment is situated in a very pleasant, well maintained and clean 4 storey block centrally located in Moraira Town Centre with very easy access to its plethora of excellent amenities set predominantly at the same level facilitating a pleasant 3 minute stroll to the promenade and sandy beach. From the apartment block's pavement level entrance, the apartment (number 4) is accessed either by communal stair or communal wheelchair friendly lift. The apartment enjoys a secure car parking space under if required.

My name is Ken Rowbotham,now retired and based in Yorkshire but I have a problem........ I am addicted to wonderful Moraira and have succumbed to living there for 4/5 months each year....... I suppose that I will just have to grin and bear it. ( I also have a 4 bedroomed villa in El Portet which is also available to rent and has been for a few years now with many complimentary comments in the visitors' book.) The cleaners are very professional and pleasant to deal with ..... they are always contactable should any client have a problem whatever that problem may be. Please be assured that our intent is for you to have a happy stay and a stress free holiday.

This was our first time in Moraira. We loved the apartment every thing we needed, a real home from home. The apartment is very central , everything is close by. Moriaria is a great resort we will definatly be back,

We have visited Moraira over the last 8 years and used various hotels, villas and apartments but this was our first stay at this apartment. It was spacious and well equipped and all the extras including a welcome pack made you feel that the Owner had given a great deal of thought to making your stay comfortable. We stayed two weeks and our bedding and towels were changed after the first week which was very much appreciated although we were able to wash our beach towels in the washing machine provided. We could not find any faults with this apartment and shall certainly be returning again if it is available. Delighted that we have now found just the perfect apartment and location in Moraira.

Excellent apartment

My friend and I have just returned from spending a week in this lovely apartment. We visit the area each year to catch up with friends who live there and this is the best apartment we have holidayed in so far and we intend to repeat the experience next year if it is available.

It is spotlessly clean, very nicely furnished and fully equipped with everything that one needs and everything works! There was attractive artwork on the walls and lovely curtains. For those who like to keep up with favourite programmes there was an excellent choice of English TV channels.

We arrived in the evening and it was convenient to find tea, milk, bread etc. There was also handwash in the bathroom and shower room.

The apartment is in the centre of the town and we used taxis when we visited Javea. There is a taxi rank a short walk from the apartment and there were always taxis available. There is a local bus service to Calpe. To get to Denia we went by taxi to Teulada and then by train, a lovely day out. We only left Moraira a few times so it wasn't worth hiring a car. There are some pleasant walks to beaches a short way out of the town and the town beach is a few minutes walk away. There is also a small, pretty nature reserve near the beach.

The front of the apartment overlooks a main road, carpark and community sports facilities. If you raise your eyes above the carpark there is a fabulous view of mountains including Montgo and the villa clad hills.

Thank you to Ken, the owner, for creating such a lovely holiday home and thank you to Paul and Stella for keeping it so spotlessly clean.

Excellent Apartment

I'm not getting a discount/paid for writing this, but i'm really not sure why the previous reviewer only gave 2 stars??? Ken was really good in answering our questions before booking, when we got there we were met promptly and showed around the apartment. There was a welcome pack which meant we did not have to drop everything and rush off the the nearest supermarket. Everything was clean and tidy, nice big terrace with plenty of seating, apartment is just about kitted out with everything you could want, there's even a dryer. Situated centrally so a few minutes walking distance to beach, restaurants, etc. Parking as mentioned before is in the basement, quite tight getting in and out though, ok if you have a smaller car like we did but be a struggle if you had a big MPV, although there were larger cars parked down there.

We were provided with 2 towels each and a beach towel each, not sure how many more than that you would want? Self catering so just stick them in the washing machine when they need washing. The road noise didn't bother us, you are in the centre so it would be unreasonable to expect peace and quiet after 10pm, if that's what you want then rent something out in the country somewhere and spend half your holiday in a car driving back and forward. The terrace does get some sun through the day but you're only 2 minutes away from the beach anyway so like us you'd probably go there to sun bathe anyway, at least it means the terrace is reasonably cool when you get back.

All in all no issues what so ever, and the guest book in the apartment will back that up as previous visitors have all left positive comments. 5 stars justified, 2 stars unjustified !!

Apartment review

Good size apartment with lift or stair access. Clean and tidy on arrival. There was also a welcome pack of some water bread milk etc. As we were not expecting this and it was a pleasant surprise. Good location for all the amenities of Moraira. There is a car parking space with the apartment, this is in the basement which is accessed from the main road using a single car size lift. There is a free council owned car park across the road but don't use this on Fridays as this is market day and you may be towed away if you park there! There is a washing machine provided which is useful. As the apartment had only just been put up for holiday rental we were hoping that it would be newly furnished. unfortunately this was not the case and the majority of the furniture appeared to be old fashioned and well used. The relaxer chairs on the balcony were very heavy with a wooden frame and also appeared to be dated. The balcony is a good size and overlooks a café and a pleasant communal area. The balcony is not really good for sunbathing as the majority of the balcony does not get any sun light at all falling on to it. There are some towels provided when you arrive ( one beach towel, one hand towel and one bath towel) if you like to have more towels than this I would recommend bringing some of your own. also there is no spare bedding provided at all. We could hear a lot of road noise form the front rooms of the apartment due to its proximity to the main road. You can see the lovely mountains in the distance from the front rooms of the apartment but the photographs do not show a main road, the football/tennis courts and the large car park which can also be seen from the same windows.

I purchased this property because of its quality, its spacious feel and its tranquillity whilst having easy access to such a wide range of amenities without the need to drive.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Central location in Moraira Town Centre with

3 minute stroll to the beach


Alicante airport is approx. 1 hour's drive by car and Valencia airport is approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes.

If you don't wish to hire a car at the airport I cannot recommend any means of transport other than by private taxi ( the airport taxis are too expensive. I can recommend others)

Once at the apartment you don't need transport unless you wish to visit more distant areas and if so you can always hire a car in Moraira.

Please note, this apartment does have a secure parking space below.


In my experience,the vast majority of people who decide to visit other places in the region wish that they had never bothered because Moraira is such a fabulous place to be.
