About the Owner

We have owned properties in Cala dOr since 2003, firstly buying two townhouses in Cala Egos and then going on to build two larger private villas overlooking the Marina.

We have successfully assisted families with their holiday needs, offering a friendly efficient service along with first class rental accommodation.

We have an English cleaning and maintenance company who look after our properties for us, and are always on hand to help with any queries guests may have, or indeed offer any general friendly advice.

Guests have always been more than happy with the level of service we offer plus the standard of our accommodation, and highly recommend us to family & friends who in turn stay with us. We endeavour to help relieve the stresses of arranging that special family holiday.

70th Birthday celebrations

What can we say! 18 of us stayed at Serenity for my dad's 70th birthday and we fell in love with the villa and Cala D'Or. The villa exceeded our expectations, it was beautiful. The couple who look after it, Jan and John, were very friendly and on hand to deal with anything that needed attending to, and a mid-stay clean left it looking sparkling and new again (definitely recommended with such a large group!). The location was fabulous for the beach/restaurants/bars etc, and the views over the marina, particularly at night, were stunning. We loved the BBQ area/terrace and pool, and we really didn't want to leave. Both villa and Cala D'Or catered for our entire age group (5 years -70 years). I hope we will be back to Serenity one day!

Stunning villa in a fabulous location

A large group of us had an amazing 2 week stay at the property in July/Aug 2016. The villa suited us all despite us being a mixed group of children, a teenager, a young couple and other family & friends.

We had looked for a villa that didn't require a car and this certainly met the criteria - few minutes walk to the marina for great restaurants (we particularly liked Waves bar for breakfast, and Noa for Thai food), a short walk into the centre of town for shops and bars, Spar supermarket a couple of mins walk for provisions, and even the beach was walkable.

Cala D'Or beach - clear water, clean sand, shallow and beautiful views. Better than I had expected and not too busy even in the peak season.

The Villa - finished to a very high standard, all rooms were of a good size, comfortable beds and the AC was very effective.

Kitchen appliances also of a high standard and sufficient for a large group - plenty of crockery and cutlery and plastic glasses for the pool. Also a large gas BBQ.

The cinema room, including UK Sky and PS4 was a highlight for many - absolutely great, as was the pool table.

The only negatives from us were:

Drainage of the showers sometimes wasn't great meaning water spread onto bedroom floors. However the maintenance/management team were on hand for any issues.

For us, one clean in the 2 week period wasn't really enough for a large group so I would recommend paying for additional cleans if available.

And one tip would be to allocate the room by the pool table to the people that will be up playing pool the latest at night!... it can be quite noisy.

Other than that, we would highly recommend - and thanks Dawn for being on hand for any questions/recommendations we had whilst preparing for our trip.

The best holiday ever!

We had a great stay at Serenity Villa. The villa had a perfect location just 2 minutes walk from the marina and a short walk to the beaches. Janine, the host, was very helpful including ordering taxi when we arrived and left. Serenity had all the amneties we needed and was beautiful designed. The property was modern and well-maintained and perfectly cleaned before our arrival. Thank you so much for a great stay. Hope to come back soon!

Amazing Villa

We had an unforgettable holiday at this beautiful villa. There were 3 families and we celebrated my husband's 50th birthday in true style. The owner recommended caterers 'Rent a Chef' who were amazing providing us with wonderful food and superb service.

The villa is beautifully designed and perfectly layed out so that everyone has privacy. The chill out zone was really popular with the teenagers and the views of the Marina were spectacular. Everything is within walking distance of the villa so you wouldn't really need a car.

I couldn't recommend this villa more highly for a family or group of friends, it's amazing!! We will never forget our holiday at Serenity.

Fantastic Villa in an ideal location

Our family and friends have been to Cala D'or on several occasions, the first being around 25 years ago; so for my 60th Birthday we had a 3 family holiday in this fantastic Villa.

One key requirement was that we didn't need cars and the location of this Villa couldn't be better; a few minutes walk from the Marina Restaurants and only a few more to the main town with numerous restaurants and bars.

Also only 5 mins walk to the nearest Supermarket (and great butcher for the BBQ!).

We all had a fantastic time; the Pool is a great centrepiece during the day and if you get bored of lying in the sun, the chill out area with an amazing cinema room, Pool table and Table tennis area is excellent.

At night the roof terrace is a great area for a drink with panoramic views over the Marina and Cala D'or.

Thoroughly recommended !

We chose the Cala dOr area after falling in love with it ourselves when holidaying in 1995. The idea of a holiday rental business appealed to us mainly due to the popularity of the resort, plus the beauty of the shallow coves and sandy beaches. Being such a well-loved holiday destination, Cala dOr offers the best in relaxation and exhilaration, appealing to guests of all ages. Many of our guests return year after year, and never tire of what Cala dOr has to offer. More recently we wanted to build the most exclusive villa for holiday rentals in the area, which over a two year period has resulted in the property we have today . 'Serenity' has the wow-factor that guests will talk about for years to come.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

We are located only 5 minutes walk from two local beaches - Cala dOr beach and the larger Cala Gran beach. The lovely shallow coves are ideal for families with younger children and offer refreshments, sun lounger & parasol hire, plus pedalo hire. The Mondrago National Park and Beach is 10 minutes by car, and has two beaches with beach-front restaurants and facilities. Locally, Porto Petro and Cala dOr have scuba diving centres and charter boat hire, and Arenal Water Park is 35 minutes by car.

Travel:

We are located 60k away from the airport of Palma de Mallorca, which will take around 40 minutes by car/taxi.

Distances:

The property is ideally located only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Cala dOr and its restaurants, shops and beaches, plus the Marina with its numerous excellent restaurants to suit all tastes.

The town of Santanyi is 15 minutes by car where you will find the beautiful village church, picturesque road-side cafes and local markets twice a week.

San Salvador monastery is 20-30 minutes by car, and is a working monastery where you will find superb views of the southwest of Mallorca.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is strictly Saturday to Saturday during the main holiday season, with possible flexibility in the earlier months of April and May, and again late September and October.

25% deposit required upon receipt of written booking confirmation, with balance payment due 8 weeks prior to the holiday rental.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
