Spacious 1 Bedroom apartment measuring 70.07sq metres located on the 2nd floor is situated in a brand new gated residential complex with a rooftop infinity pool, 24hrs gated security and CCTV cameras operational 24hrs, has a breathtaking view of the Chapora Fort and Chapora Fishing village, parking facilities, landscaped garden, well maintained and tended to daily. The apartment is ideal for 2 people, a third person can be accommodated. The apartment block has an elevator. It consists of a living room with an open plan kitchen, and 1 ensuite bedroom with an attached balcony. Mosquito screen doors have been installed for the living room and bedroom. The living room overlooks the main entrance gate and the bedroom balcony overlooks the lawn and garden below. The complex is located in the quite fishing village of Chapora,the nearest supermarket is Savitri which is a stones throw from the apartment. There are plenty of speciality cuisine restaurants like famous and renowned Greek restaurant - Thalassa which is a 5minute bike ride or the Italian restaurant - Piccola Roma and Japanese restaurant - Sakana which are a 5 minute walk from the apartment, these are only to name a few. Apart from these there are plenty of other restaurants, shops, bars and night clubs in close proximity. Not to forget the Arpora night markets and the Anjuna day markets.

What a lovely stay we had at Giselles apartment. Apartment was absolutely beautiful, very modern, scrupulously clean and every single thing we needed when we were there. The pool was definitely an added extra with fabulous views of the area, It was wonderful to watch the sun go down on the apartment roof.

Many thanks Gisselle, you were so welcoming and helpful. Giselle replied to our booking request immediately and kept us fully involved prior to taking the apartment and was there to welcome us when we arrived.

I would definitely recommend this apartment it was a real gem.

Goa

We stayed in Goa from 12 December 2014 till 15 January 2015. For our holiday chose Giselle's apartment. Inspite of the fact that we arrived late at night, Giselle met us and specify the way to the flat. The apartment was comfortable-it was a loft. The kitchen was well-equipped: there was everything from scissors to portative containers. There was a modern shower cabin in the bathroom. The loft was divided into two parts: the bedroom and the siting room with a big TV set. Every morning we had breakfast on the balcony. Them we went to the swimming pull on the roof of our house. The view was splendid: Chapora fort, the sea, a church and a lot of green exotic plants. Every Tuesday the flat was washed and cleaning. The house and its territory were guarded. It was surrounded by an beautiful garden. The apartment was situated in : Chapora not for from the famous «Juice Center» in Goa. Such a location was perfect: shops, pharmacies, fruit market, cafes and restaurants. Giselle is a wonderful and decent owner. If we go to Goa next year we will stay at her place.

Couldn't have asked for better

We considered ourselves really lucky to get this brand new apartment for our 2 month stay. We didn't have our own transport and the location was great - 5 minute walks to medium sized supermarket (sold good bread, cheese, olive oil, even curries in foil pouches), off licence, really good fruit & veg stall (even got Mediterranean herbs if you requested) and morning fish sellers in village. Frequent bus to large supermarket in Anjuna for a bigger range of groceries, household hoods and frozen fish/meat, or to Mapusa for market and connections to everywhere else in Goa. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. No beach in Chapora, just 25 mins (past an excellent bakery) walk to Vagator beach, probably the nicest beach between Panjim and the Chapora River.

Gas hob was not connected, but a 2-ring induction hob was provided - with a microwave, kettle, toaster and the utensils provided we managed to cook quite well. TV gets a good range of channels in English. No air con, but we didn't feel we needed it, especially as the screens on the windows mean you can leave them open - maybe from April onwards it might have been an issue. A bit of noise from the road (motorbikes) and the temple, but being able to watch all the activity there was nice. The rooftop pool is spectacular, with almost a 360 degree view - lack of shade did prevent us using it sometimes, but for a sunset G&T it would be hard to beat. The owners are lovely and as they live in Candolim they are able to respond to any issues themselves.

Coast/Beach:

Vagator Beach is the nearest from the apartment located at 1.5kms. Beaches of Candolim, Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Morjim, Ashvem, Arambol etc are in close proximity and easily accessible by car/taxi/motor bike

The beaches of Goa are dotted with beach shacks which serve food, drinks and provide sun-beds throughout the day. Water sports are also available. At night, there is ample entertainment at the various night clubs, bars & restaurants.

Travel:

Dabolim airport ( Goa’s airport ) is approximately 52kms from Chapora. One can get a Charter airline that flies direct into Goa , or a schedule flight that makes a stop in Mumbai. Mumbai to Goa is a 1 hour flight. On arrival ,there are pre-paid non A/C and A/C taxi options available with fixed rates.

Getting around: You can rent a bike or car or take a taxi or tuk-tuk which are very inexpensive options.

Distances:

The apartment is central and located midway between the famous beaches of Baga, Calangute and Candolim on one side and Ashwem, Morjim, and Arambol on the other. The nearest beach within 1 ½ kms is Vagator beach.

The Saturday night markets of Arpora are 10mins on a bike /taxi and Wednesday daytime market of Anjuna is approximately 10mins. The restaurants , shops, beaches, markets are a short distance away. Panjim City is 40 mins by taxi or bike.

Further Details:

There are many places of interest :The Churches at Old Goa,Temples, Spice Plantation and Waterfall, Tiracol Fort at Querim, Saturday Night Market, Anjuna Flea Market and the various beaches. Goa is also home to casino - land based and floating vessels. Boat tours, water sports, Dolphin Trips are other attractions of Goa.

There are plenty of shops selling all kinds from souvenirs to beach wear etc. There are restaurants that serve up everything from seafood, Goan, Indian to International cuisine. The beach shacks are a great place to relax, refuel and watch the sun go down.
