‘Las Milagros' is a very large modern villa comfortably sleeping a maximum of 8 guests in 4 air conditioned bedrooms. The property can accommodate 12 guests provided the Casita (separate bungalow in the garden) is booked as an optional extra. The Casita consists of two twin bedrooms accommodating a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 guests, a kitchen, built in wardrobe, Air Con and a bathroom. The property has large well kept traditional gardens front and back. Approximately 10 minute drive (dependant on traffic) from the renowned blue flag beach of La Barrosa and the typical traditional bustling market town of Chiclana de la Frontera. There are ample patios for sunbathing by the pool and a choice of shady or sunny dining areas for eating al fresco. The property boasts an extremely large very modern kitchen with fantastic views of the ' Oasis' rear garden. Large porches to the front and rear offer excellent space for protected sunbathing or family eating.

We love Chiclana de la Frontera because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Jerez airport only 40 minutes drive away while Seville airport is just over an hour away. The economy of this special area depends largely upon modern industry, especially salt processing and tourism, and the municipality is known for its beaches such as the 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) long Playa de la Barrosa, hotels and golf courses in the resort of Novo Sancti Petri. The oldest city in Europe, Cadiz, is only 20 minutes drive away.

What makes this villa unique

There are also 5 fantastic golf courses in the area within 15 minutes drive. There is a petrol station supermarket and venta within 5 minutes walk of the property.

Notes on accommodation: This large villa is extremely modern with AIR CON in 3 bedrooms and lounge. A full Sky tv package and wi fi is also provided. Smoking is only permitted outside the villa and unfortunately we regret pets or animals are not allowed anywhere on the property. A complimentary welcome pack is provided for your arrival containing basic provisions. Services of an English/Spanish speaking agent is available. Outside: A beautiful well kept traditional garden with lawns, trees and bushes to the front of the property maintained by an employed gardener. Large driveway suitable for parking at least 4 vehicles. The large rear garden has an 8m by 4m private swimming pool with Roman steps surrounded by patios and gravelled areas with palm trees, fruit trees, a true oasis. Plenty of areas for sunbathing and alfresco eating. The villa also has a front and back porch again both very suitable for alfresco eating. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board & steam iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linens and towels for use in the villa and by pool side are provided. The villa will be cleaned before arrival and every two weeks. Additional cleaning and linen / towel change can be arranged if required. Other: The garden is equipped with sunloungers, dining table and chairs. There is a large traditional tiled table with 6 very comfortable iron chairs in the front porch.

Rather than a large luxury villa we felt it was a typical Spanish house, very nice but hardly luxuri

The house was nice but had a tired feel to it . Some basic maintenance clearly needed attention, for example three or four broken chairs and a lamp that had been put back cracked and subsequently broke , fortunately with no injury.

There was no welcome pack as promised in the information which , after quite a long journey, would have been nice. Also I feel that the addition of written local information about the property and the local amenities , doctor hospital etc, would have helped.

However, we did enjoy our stay and the local beach was exceptional.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much for your review. All reviews are much appreciated and wherever possible suggestions for improvement are implemented. It's a shame you didn't think the villa had a luxury feel, as you can see from all the other reviews this is not the view of other guests but I understand that this is a subjective view. The villa had a very large refurbishment a few years ago doubling the size of the villa, providing a £25,000 kitchen and an extremely large lounge along with other improvements. The large 4 bedroom villa along with the two bedroom Casita in grounds in excess of 2,000m2 is certainly not a typical Spanish house in this area which are in grounds a quarter the size at 500m2 and a lot more basic. This winter the villa will undergo further improvements like an additional en-suite bathroom for the 4th bedroom, extensive painting and replacement/additions of some furniture. It's also unfortunate that you didn't make full use of the app. which includes all the information you were looking for plus a lot more. I would advise all guest to download and view - leaving a hard copy is a bit old hat now and the app. is a fantastic holiday tool. Once again many thanks for your review. Kind regards Bernard

Perfect Villa

We stayed here for two weeks with my three children and parents. The Villa is situated in a quiet area and feels very private and secure. The Villa itself was perfect. Well maintained, clean and tidy, very spacious (4 adults and 3 children) and equipped with everything you could need. Bernard (the owner) was very quick to respond to any questions prior to the holiday and even checked up during the holiday to make sure all was well. I've been trying to think of a downside to try and provide a balanced review, but all I could come up with was that it was slightly cloudy during one day!! We all agreed we would definitely go back to this villa - a great time had by all. Best Restaurant - Soave (Italian)

Great villa, great hosts and a great location

We spent 10 days at this villa in late August (2016). It's in a residential area only 10 mins drive away from the spectacular Barossa beach. Many other beautiful beaches are also within a 30 minute drive. The villa is spacious with a lovely garden and pool. The communication from the host and rep was excellent throughout. All in all a great villa, in my view.

Spacious villa

Don't be put off by the approach to this villa as you access it from the main road onto a bumpy dirt track. However behind the main gate you will find large grounds surrounding the villa along with almond and fruit trees. The villa is spacious and well equipped for inside and outside living. The villa is well located for the stunning coastline and it is unspoilt with no high rise hotels. Good accessibility to main roads to allow more exploration of the region. Bernard was very prompt with all communication and along with Jayne (in resort), sorted out minor water problem on arrival. Villa is in a residential area but still maintains a private feel. Had a fabulous holiday and would recommend villa and area to friends/family.

Beautiful villa in Chiclana

We had a fantastic week at this lovely villa. It was spacious, the kitchen and living room were modern and well equipped. The grounds were established and are larger than normal with lots of areas to sit or sunbathe. The pool was stunning, warm and well maintained and we had lots of fun in it. The Barossa beach is beautiful and we had some lovely meals (see recommendations). We would definitely come back to this area and villa. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your home. It was definitely not an every day rental

Superb villa

My family and friends spent a fabulous 2 week holiday at this lovely villa this summer. The villa is very spacious especially the kitchen and lounge which were very comfortable and well equipped. The pool is a good size and the sunbathing areas and gardens are much bigger than previous villas we have stayed in. The beach at la barrossa is beautiful with many reasonably priced cafes and restaurants along the seafront. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa and we will definitely be booking again ourselves in the future.

CANCELLATIONS – Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent however if we are able to re-rent your reservation at the same rates we will refund the rental payments received.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to eight (8) in the Villa. Twelve (12) guests can be accommodated provided the Casita is also booked at an extra cost.
MINIMUM STAY – Seven (7) night minimum stay. If a rental is taken for less than seven (7) days, the guest will be charged the seven (7) night rate.
INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Facilities fees are included in the rental rate. The Air Condition units in the bedrooms and lounge are very expensive to run for long periods of time so we advise using sensibly otherwise an additional electric charge may need to be levied (taken form the security deposit). Our agent will take a meter reading at the time of your arrival.
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the villa rental, a daily or weekly maid service is NOT INCLUDED in the rental rate; however it is available at an additional rate if required. The first week’s linens and towels will be collected and replaced with fresh sheets and towels for the second week; this is included in the rental however this is not a bed making service. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the property, but we do provide extra beach towels for your use.
The villa is thoroughly cleaned before your arrival, if you require a further clean during your stay, please advise as this can be arranged at an additional rate.
RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.
FALSIFIED BOOKINGS – Any booking obtained under false pretence will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
