One bedroom apartment, with two terraces overlooking the grounds, and a glimps of the sea, satellite TV, and views of the parc at the back, A/C, and Wi-Fi, private parking place, in a gated community with a large swimming pool, beautiful gardens, and tennis court, just a 10 minute walk from the Mediterranean. Sleeps 4 adults, with one bedroom, and a comfortable pull down bed in the lounge. The train station and bus stop are less than a ten minute's walk. The charming old town of Antibes, is a five minute drive, with it's typical covered Provençal market, lovely beaches, and, of course, the Picasso museum. Cannes and Nice are both about a 30 min drive, it is in an ideal position for exploring the famous towns along the coast, from Monaco to Cannes, Villefranche, Beaulieu, Roquebrune, and Eze, or inland to one of the delightful Provençal villages, such as Valbonne, Biot, St Paul de Vence, for a quiet lunch, or further afield the Gorges du Loup, or Italy. Also many museums, the Matisse chapel, and the casino at Monte-Carlo

I have worked all over the world and lived in Italy for more than 30 years, where latterly I owned a B&B. After retiring a few years ago, I decided to move to the south of France, when the apartment I had spent more and more time in over the last few years, was put up for sale.

Having travelled to many parts of the world, I can honestly say that this is one of the most beautiful, and interesting. There is something for everyone here, beautiful beaches, great museums, some of the most glamorous places anywhere like Cannes and Nice, many charming villages beloved of the Impressionists, and truly spectacular scenery.

The Dorchester apartment is in a beautiful gated residence, just a few minutes walk from the Mediterranean Sea and right beside the 247acre Vaugrenier Natural Parc. It is perfectly situated between Nice and Cannes.

What makes this apartment unique

We are extremely lucky here to be so near to all of the things you would want to see, but with the luxury of a really peaceful retreat to relax in at the end of the day.

excellent accommdation

We stayed in the Dorchester apartment for two weeks and had a fantastic holiday. The apartment was beautifully kept , well equipped , and spacious. As were the grounds. We had use of the swimming pool and tennis courts. Donne was extremely accommodating and looked after us well, providing us with lots of useful information. The apartment proved in an excellent position for exploring the surrounding areas and was a lovely quiet oasis to return to in the evening . I would not hesitate in recommending this apartment .

Fantastic Location

We had a wonderful week at the apartment. It is brilliantly located within easy reach of Nice airport and perfect for exploring the surrounding area. After a hard day's lunching in pretty town squares or visiting one of the attractions nearby ( Picasso Museum, Maeght Foundation, Matisse Chapel, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes to name a few) the perfect way to end the day was a swim in the beautiful pool followed by a sundowner on one of the terraces. The apartment is well-equipped and the owner, who lives on-site, was extremely welcoming and helpful. There are many restaurants to suit all budgets, within a short drive.

Prices include water, linen, and end of stay cleaning (as long as it is in a reasonable state), but electricity and gas will be charged by the meter, at the price we pay. Guests with pets will be charged an extra cleaning fee of €100
