Apartment in Kato Paphos, Cyprus - Well Located For Easy Walking Distance Into The Town And Is Also On The Bus Route

This well equipped 1-bed ground floor apartment has an ideal location on this sought after complex of Sirena Sunrise. The furnished large private patio allows comfortable outside dining and extended living space. The communal pool is easily accessed where you will find your own private sun loungers and sun umbrella. The apartment benefits from a spacious open plan lounge area including TV, seating area with two leather sofas (2 seater and 3 seater), dining area and kitchen. The single bedroom is provided with two single beds, fully fitted wardrobes with integral mirrored vanity unit which has hairdryer and hair straighteners. The bedroom benefits from air-conditioning and the lounge has a ceiling fan and dimmer light. The bathroom is fully tiled and has a full length bath and shower. The apartment is tastefully furnished throughout and is very well equipped with the provision of free WiFi to enable you to stay in touch with everything that’s going on and watch internet TV. We are just a short stroll to the bars, restaurants and town centre/harbour. We are also on the bus route (bus number 603) which comes roughly ever 20 minutes throughout the day.

Really good property quiet location

The property is well equiped. The pool area is well eqiuped with sun beds and unbrellas.

The residents were friendly.

For me far too many cats around a complete no no for me.

Would stay again as it is very handy for everything. Despite the cats.

Busy complex approximately 15minute walk to the harbour

We stayed here for eight nights at the end of August 2016. Initially the complex was very busy with lots of children. The apartment is basically as shown in the photos. Some areas do require attention eg the cleanliness of the blind to the hallway outside, the decking outside also needs some attention as it is lifting and dangerous. A few of the kitchen utensils need replacing eg scissors and can opener. These things however will not hinder your stay. The Garden area is a sun trap so you will have sun on it for most of the day. The only real negative is that if you have a late flight and are unfortunate enough to be unable to keep the apartment on there are no toilets or proper shower facilities and nowhere safe to store your luggage.

Lovely little property

The accommodation was lovely and had everything we needed in respect of location, self catering services and a well maintained pool. We loved the sun loungers on the balcony which turned out to be fabulous for star gazing (we even witnessed a shooting star! Very romantic) . The only thing we struggled with was the air con (the living room was a large fan and the bedroom air con was on a two hour timer which is not good given the 35 degree heat in the height of summer); we felt like we had a new born baby waking up several times in the night to turn it back on. We feel that the price was very good however we would have been happy to pay more for a cooler night sleep. The contact with the apartment owner prior to our visit was excellent.

I do appreciate that the air con is on a timer but our electricity bills were through the roof because it was being left on all day and trying to cool the whole apartment, not just the bedroom and this is why we took the steps to put it onto a timer. We feel the apartment is priced accordingly with all the facilities we provide which others would charge extra for and that is not something we want to do. Glad you had a good time all the same.

Relaxing and most enjoyable time

My daughter and I stayed here for 12 nights. The apartment was clean and comfortable as described. The location of the property was perfect - not too close to the town centre but not too far away either. The pool was awesome, lovely and warm and being able to sunbath on the patio and decking of the apartment was a big plus.

Overall, we had a lovely time. The other residents/holiday makers were the nicest of people you could ever come across and that was a massive bonus too.

James, the owner, was helpful throughout the whole process. "Thank you James - a wonderful holiday".

Very Good

Appartment is situated in universal Paphos and I had rented a car. Well situated central location. The appartement is nice and clean and everything is available altough the cooking accessories are basic.

We Had a lovely stay!

The apartment was very clean and welcoming.

Only a 10 minute walk from the harbour and the the animal sanctuary so you can go and walk a dog If you wish ☺

Pool area and balcony were also very clean.

Overall the complex and apartment were superb and would love to stay again!

We love the position of the apartment on this very sought after complex, especially as it is a ground floor with loads of outside space. This is a very spacious apartment with full patio doors to both the lounge and the bedroom.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Paphos International at 15 Kilometres Car: not necessary


Close to local beaches. It will take about 15 minutes stroll down to the local beaches or the harbour area. The centre of the main town is about 7 minutes where you will find many bars, restaurants, banking facilities, shops and the harbour area which is of historic interest. The walk is generally flat and very safe.


Paphos airport is approximately a 20 minute drive by car. Larnaca airport is approximately a 90 minute drive (mostly motorway). A hire car is not essential but if you do plan to tour the island, it does give you more flexibility. There are regular bus services to Limassol (approx 1 hour away), Nicosia (approx 2 hours away) and the Troodos mountains. The beautiful beaches of Coral Bay are approximately 30 minutes away by bus and much less by car. Polis & Latchi are also about 1 hour away.


It is a 15 minute walk to Paphos old town where a daily morning market is held and to the old castle/harbour area with its many eateries, bars, banks and shops of all descriptions. Tombs of the Kings is approximately 15 minutes by bus or a healthy half hour walk. There is now a new bus terminal in the centre of Paphos near the castle. The airport is only a 20 minute car drive away.

Further Details:

The apartment is centrally located providing easy access to the surrounding restaurants, shops, banks, supermarkets and bars. There are 4 late night shops (kiosks) within 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The larger supermarkets are a 15 minute walk away towards the seafront/harbour area. As the new bus service is right outside the door this will take you to the harbour where you can transfer to the main route to travel further afield like the covered market area or Coral Bay with its beautiful beaches and the waterpark which is an excellent day out. The new bus terminal near the castle makes for easy transfers to and from the airport and is very cheap.
