About Dianne Cox

Di and Trish (we are sisters) have owned Church View for 6 years. Having holidayed in the local area, since childhood, with our parents, the North Cornwall area has always been very dear to our hearts. We have just returned from the Middle East, and are, at long last, enjoying a lifelong dream in this lovely village, where the warmth and welcome from the local residents has been unbelievable.

Church View is a wonderful old cottage which was in desperate need of a total overhaul when we purchased it. In the last two years, it has been completely renovated and is now a much-loved, comfortable, cosy home. We have left it well equipped, and sincerely hope you will enjoy your stay in it. Please look after it for us, and leave it in the same condition in which you find it upon arrival.

Why Dianne Cox chose North Cornwall

Having holidayed in the area for 50 years, it has been a lifelong dream to live in this beautiful, rugged part of North Cornwall. St Teath is in a perfect position to enjoy the many, varied delights of the area. Close to the coast and the popular village of Port Isaac (Doc Martin's home), it is still very much a living, country village, within easy reach of, yet away from, the crowds and bustle of the popular tourist destinations.

Beautiful Cottage with Secluded garden

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week, walking miles of cliffs and beaches all around us and exploring. It was lovely to return to such a beautiful cared for cottage, that was more like a home, than a rental, with an absolutely stunning garden. The cottage was really spacious, every room delightfully decorated and so very well equipped.

Thankyou for having us

A beautiful Cottage and it was a pleasure to stay here. First class accommodation

  • 5 of 5

So we booked on-line and the pictures don't do the Cottage justice. High class furnishings and exceptionally clean. Dianne the owner added some nice touches with some welcome items including milk, tea, flowers and biscuits all Cornish produce. The garden is fully enclosed and our two dogs loved it. Nice cosy log fire backed up by central heating. Cottage full of character and more than adequate room for us. The Village is one of the friendliest places I've been to and the locals are engaging and welcoming. A local shop is well stocked for your basic needs. The White Hart is good value and well worth a visit for food and a drink although you will need to book if you're going at peak times.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location. A real treasure of a find

  • 5 of 5

We booked this beautiful cottage, at quite short notice, and our experience from the outset was fabulous. Dianne(the owner) kept us informed and up to date every step of the way. Pictures cannot do the property justice, as it is a treasure of a property in a wonderful location. All of the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The cottage was clean and has everything you need for your holiday, it's like a home from home. The garden is like a secret garden, full of little corners of charm.

We enjoyed a truly wonderful stay and will certainly stay here again in the near future.

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived we were provided with tea, milk, jam, cream, scones and a bottle of wine! What a treat! Church cottage was amazing, the level of fixtures and fittings was 5 star. You had everything you could wish for and then some! Dianne was helpful and charming. The private garden and covered patio ensured alfresco dining even when raining. Lovely village. Wonderful! I would definitely recommend this property.
