Offering superb accommodation & with a large private sun terrace making the best of winter and summer sunshine, this 2 bed 2 bath apartment is ideally located and has fantastic balcony views of the communal swimming pool and gardens. A very popular property,well maintained and stylishly furnished to ensure that you have a great holiday, and with a secluded rooftop sun terrace - this apartment has it all. There is a stone built BBQ on the sun terrace and a dining set for al fresco entertaining. Internally is a spacious lounge with 32" flat screen TV showing UK free view channels & DVD player. Both hot and cold air conditioning ensures your comfort. There is a dining area & breakfast bar leading to a fully fitted kitchen & utility area. The guest bedroom is fitted with twin beds & built in wardrobes & is directly opposite the fully fitted guest bathroom. Notes on accommodation: Facilities near Casa Lou include sandy beaches, 4 golf courses, tennis, swimming, bowls, horse riding, go-carts etc. At the Villamartin Plaza there are many bars and restaurants, plus banks, a hair salon, supermarkets, medical centre, gift shops, and even the opportunity for cycle hire. There is something for everyone at the Plaza - a Sports Bar, Karaoke Bar, Pool and Bowling and a wide range of cuisines. Shopaholics will enjoy the large new shopping mall at La Zenia which is only 5 minutes drive away. The bustling coastal town of Torrevieja is just 15 mins drive from Casa Lou - it is an old fishing town with it's own harbour and you will find lots of shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. Enjoy the daily evening craft market, or sit at one of the pavement cafes and just watch the world go by. Many local bars and restaurants in Villamartin offer free Internet access - low cost dongles are available locally for clients needing internet access in the apartment. Outside: The apartment has its own small private garden with palm tree, and the gardens of the Las Violetas community are beautifully tended. The communal swimming pool and parking are both adjacent to Casa Lou. The roof top terrace is completely secluded and has a BBQ, sun loungers and dining facilities for 4 people - it also has superb views over the pool and the Orihuela Costa in the distance. Utility Room: There is a small utility room at the rear of the kitchen with a washing machine, iron/ironing board, mops, brushes etc Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned before each rental - for rentals of 2 or more weeks mid rental cleaning can be arranged if required at extra cost. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly

Highly recommend

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Casa Lou, made even better by lovely weather in March. We have been to the Villamartin area before but the directions were spot on. Despite arriving late in the day we were met by Steve who gave us the instructions for everything we needed to know. The apartment has everything that you would need for a stay. The roof top solarium was an added bonus and the apartment is in a well-established complex but very quiet.

The location is great for bars and restaurants - there are a couple of bars and an Italian restaurant (La Dolce Vita – which we can highly recommend) within a couple of minutes’ walk and then the Villamartin Plaza a 5 minute walk away with a wide variety of bars and restaurants (the Club House was one of our favourites). There is a small supermarket at the Plaza where you can get all the basics although there’s a bigger one about a mile away in Los Dolses. Whilst we hired a car, you could get by without one.

On this trip we didn’t go very far but there are lots of lovely beaches and places to visit of historical value not far away but you’d probably need a car to get to these.

We would highly recommend the apartment and will definitely think of using the apartment again in the near future.

Great Winter Stay

Stayed in this lovely apartment for two weeks last January and like it so much we came back for six weeks this time! All the previous reviews express our thoughts exactly, so no need to repeat them.

We had a wonderful six weeks. To sit outside in the sunshine in tee shirts in December/January was a lovely feeling. Nearly all the restaurants are still open at the Plaza and Chemies is a great stop off on the way home. We went to a carol service there with mulled wine and mince pies. Christmas Day on La Zenia beach is not to be missed. Even the dogs have Santa outfits on! As everyone who has been to the apartment knows how fantastic the view is from the solarium. Watching the firework displays from there on New Year's eve was amazing.

The whole six weeks was an outdoor life and we came home with great memories. Would recommend to anyone to try it.

Thank you Peter and Lou for the experience. Another great stay.

Wonderful apartment,great holiday!!

From the moment the agent,Steve, opened the door for us (very nice guy and helpful...pity he`s a United fan but ,look, nobody`s perfect) we knew we had chosen the perfect place to stay.

First impressions are always the best and we were so impressed.

What met us was a comfortable ,airy well lit apartment which overlooked a pristine swimming pool set in well manicured greenery. An absolute haven which during our stay was condusive to many hours of peaceful relaxation. The tranquility was almost tangible!

We found during our stay in Casa Lou that the apartment had everything we could have needed including good wi-fi and the most comfortable bed i have slept in for years!

The location was perfect for us, the supermarket and restaurant only a few minutes walk and 2 bars just 2 minutes walk away which we really appreciated on the night of our arrival!!

We visited La Zenia and the boulevard a couple of times which is only a short taxi journey (the Argentinian restaurant is not to be missed!) and the town of Torrevieja is definitely worth a visit.

All in all i would have no hesitation of recommending this lovely apartment or the area to anyone wishing to visit and all being well, with the good grace of the owners, we`ll be back for more of the same.

A perfect home from home.

My wife and I have become regulars now to Villamartin and having visited numerous times since 2009 and we "discovered" this apartment last year. We have just returned following our second visit. The location is absolutely ideal being close to the heart of the urbaniseation and to the Plaza, yet blissfully quiet at all times of the day and night. and I don't believe it can be bettered. There are outstanding views from the lounge over the pool and far beyond towards the coast, and even more spectacular views from the huge and very private roof terrace. The apartment is extremely well equipped and very comfortable with everything required for a relaxing stay and excellently presented. Meet and greet with Steve ( and departure) has been first class, and he and Angela are on hand to assist efficiently and promptly with any issues which may occur. The sun is on the small front balcony for breakfast and mid morning coffee and on the roof terrace all day long where 4 loungers, a large dining table, parasol and chairs and a built in barbecue make time spent up there with a good book and a cold drink ( or snoozing quietly) an absolute joy.

A car is essential as the many beaches ( several blue flag) are a couple of miles away ( but very easily reached) and if it is not beach weather there are lots of interesting areas to visit well within an easy drive.

We like the apartment and the area so much we have already booked for next year !! Thoroughly recommended ( but not please when we want to stay there !!)

Lovely apartment with great outlook

Having stayed in this apartment twice over the past few months we are already looking forward to our return next year. Both Steve & Angela who look after the apartment always give us a warm welcome and are very helpful. It has everything that you need to make your stay comfortable - the area is so peaceful yet only a short stroll from the lovely restaurants at Villa Martin Plaza. The pool area is complimented with lovely gardens so it is bliss to sit in the balcony and watch the world go by. We didn't feel the need for a car - there is a supermarket nearby where you can get all your supplies - very popular for walking and cycling along the canal - all in all very enjoyable and totally relaxing. Thanks to Lou & Pete for ensuring all is in order.

A lovely stay during August

This is a very nice apartment in an excellent location, with balcony and solarium views of the pool. The pictures give an excellent view of the property, and there's plenty of space throughout. Pleasingly, the 2 bedrooms and the lounge are all separately served by a/c units so you can precool your bedroom before bedtime during the hottest days.

The pool is excellent, easy access (via car) to local supermarkets and the La Zenia shopping boulevard, the agents give a great service, so all in all - recommended.

Booking Notes:
Payment: A deposit of £200 required to secure your booking with the balance due 6 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. We request a Security deposit of £200 payable with the balance payment-this will be refunded in full within one week of the end of your holiday, providing there are no damages.

Bookings of 1 or more weeks include all standard cleaning and laundry charges. Additional cleaning/laundry can be organised for longer stays at extra cost.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible.
Guests may check in any time after 4pm, and are requested to check out before 10am on the day of departure.
Alternative times can be organised only by specific arrangement.

Notes on prices:
Please note that while we accept bookings of less than 1 week duration they will be charged at the weekly rate for any period booked between April and October. Outside of this period we are happy to accept shorter periods eg long weekends, and these will be charged at a daily pro-rate rate for the period but cleaning and laundry charges will be supplementary.
