A luxury detached villa fully equipped and furnished to a high standard, situated in a quiet residential area, surrounded by mountain peaks, on a large plot of 660m2. The villa has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Ceiling fans and oil fired central heating for those cooler winter nights. Fully glazed ground floor sun terrace. The villa can easily accommodate all generations of your family group and prove a great family home in the sun. The mature gardens are planted with a variety of trees and shrubs which offer privacy all round the property. The 10 x 5m pool with Roman steps is a superb place to relax. Camposol golf course is a short distance from the villa, and it's just a 15 minute to 30km of golden sandy beaches. The nearby sierra Espuna national park is favourite for cycling and walking. Local shops and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away.

A very enjoyable villa to stay in

My wife and I are no strangers to Camposol and use Sector A whenever possible. This Villa is well placed, not very far from the bars and restaurants on 'A' but far enough away to allow a quiet relaxing and comfortable holiday. The Villa is well appointed and has all we needed for our stay. The pool, which was often used due to the heat, and garden area were clean and tidy. We will used it again if it is available.

WONDERFUL

As soon as the taxi dropped me at the gate I liked the location, gate open, WOW , lovely garden, beautiful clear pool, I stayed for 9 days, everything I needed was there. I was there with just one friend, but it is suitable for anyone, there is lots of space so that if you are in a group, you could always find a quiet spot. Camposol is great lots of good places to eat and drink. The beaches of Mazarron and it's harbours are absolutely great. I will be back next time with the whole family, hopefully soon. fabulous villa

Great villa, had fabulous 2 weeks at irenes stunning property. ideal massive pool, immaculately cleaned & serviced weekly while we were their. all facilities needed, provided for & very comfortable. would highly recommend, & would love to return this year. commercial centres have everything you need & great eating out places, & many bars, plus fabulous free entertainment seemingly every night. brilliant beaches & mazarron port only 15mins away by car. this villa is an ideal location to stay & explore the many attractions around. thanks again Irene for having us, and thanks to your cleaners, neighbour phil, & warren for all their help. well organised operation, highly commendable.

Disappointed

We stayed for 10 days in August. Whilst the pool was great and the outside space good, the outside shower didn't drain and was unusable after a couple of days.

We were unable to unlock the kitchen/back door after the first 3 days as the barrel appeared to malfunction and although it was reported to the owner via a neighbour, nothing was done about it during our stay - not ideal.

I wouldn't recommend Camposol to those with children, especially teenagers, as there is little to do and on a couple of occasions we were told in 2 restaurants that they weren't serving food on those particular nights, again, not great.

All in all, a nice, spacious villa with a great pool. Just a shame we had a few hiccups. Camposol in general too quiet and not enough facilities.

Fabulous!!!! Highly recommend

Wow what a fantastic villa and location. There is everything there you could wish for and Eileen is a pleasure to deal with. We just wished we could have stayed longer.

There is everything you could ask for fantastic pool, lovely well equipped villa in a fantastic location which caters for all ages. The bonus as well is you don't need a hire car. There is everything you need on camposol from shopping to a good night out of food and entertainment only 5 minutes walk away. It is a very safe environment for children.

Lovely are with lots to do only a short drive away.

We will defiantly be returning. Thank you Eileen for a fantastic holiday.

Location

From the Owner

Originally purchased as a home for my husband and I but now used for occasional holidays. There are a variety of beaches within easy reach from the relatively busy Puerto de Mazarron, right round the bay to La Azoia, which is quieter. The sea is clear and shallow with occasional high waves. There is a beautiful coastline to the south, with deserted beaches within a 30 minute drive. It is very peaceful most of the year. In summer there are normal beach activities but the resorts are a secret well kept by the Spanish! There are amenities on and around Camposol, including golf that appeal to those with sporting interests. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, offering everyone their favourite cuisine.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

Mazarron is not only sea, but also air - you can go hang-gliding and enjoy some unique views or climb the jagged mountain peaks, where you can see beautiful 'Blue Flag' beaches. Follow paths on foot, bicycle or on horseback through ever changing scenery. If you like adventure sports and being close to nature, you are in the right place. Sierra Espuna - to the north of Mazarron through Totana or Alhama, you will find this beautiful national park. The views are spectacular and along the journey you will find a few small bars and restaurants serving quality and well priced food. There are a number of walks signposted and if you are lucky, you will see wild boar and red squirrels. Puerto Mazarron has superb sandy beaches, secluded coves & a marina. It's also one of the most important centres for marine and sub-aquatic activities in Spain. Sailing/diving can be undertaken at any time of year and the clear waters and rich flora & fauna offer diving enthusiasts some highly interesting depths.

Coast/Beach:

Travel:

Fly to San Javier (Murcia) airport only 45 mins away

Fly to Alicante 1hr 15 mins away. Both airports are covered by the main cheap airlines such as Jet2, Ryanair, BMI Baby, Easyjet, Monarch, FlyBe.

Please note that a third airport is due to open soon at Corvera.

Hire of a car is essential to get around and explore the places of interest.

Distances:

10 mins drive to town of Mazarron.

15 mins drive to Puerto Mazarron.

20 mins drive to Totana.

40 mins drive to Lorca, with its castle on the hill, beautiful architecture and fabulous fiestas.

40mins drive to Cartagena, the ancient coastal Roman city with lively port, lots of restaurants and spectacular 'Old City' with narrated tours.

50 mins drive to Aguilas, dating back to Greek/Roman & Moors times, visit the castle, beautiful harbour and 'Levante & Poniente' beaches.

Further Details:

There are all the amenities you require on camposol, several banks and cash machines, hypermarket 'consum', small supermarket, internet cafe's, boutique, a ferretaria (hardware store) which I will defy anybody not to find anything related to the home in there, it's the proverbial 'Aladdin’s cave' there's a bodega for those all important little essentials like wines, spirits, beers etc, which is very well priced and as cheap as the large supermarkets. Opticians, dentist and medical facilities. For those of you not wishing to hire a car there is plenty to do on just camposol itself. If golf is not your thing, you can just relax by the pool enjoying the fabulous climate or take a leisurely walk admiring the wonderful scenery. By night go and dine at one of the several local restaurants on camposol sector b offering, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Indian, Bulgarian or English cuisine. These are alongside a number of bars all in a small square. You will also find bowling alley and snooker tables in 'alley palais', it's all there ready for you to enjoy!

or if you fancy a drive out venture down to the marina at puerto de mazarron for some local cuisine and culture, sitting by the yachts and enjoying the ambience of the fishing port town.

Changeover Day:
Start and finish days are on Saturdays in the main season but we can be more flexible out of season. The villa will be available from 16.00 on arrival day. On your arrival our caretaker will meet you.
