The property looks exactly as it does on the website. Which is not always true.

Lovely quaint bungalow in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Lovely bungalow in a perfect location. No problems at all with the place, Sue and Keith were both very lovely and welcoming and very much enjoyed he hand made cake on arrival. Lovely bifolding doors on to the patio into the sun and a nice BBQ area that we managed to use twice. Big powerful shower which we loved and off road parking which was a bonus. Perfect locations for days out. A half an hour car journey to Monkey World or the Tank Museum and walking distance to the lovely beach and all the pubs by the harbour. A very lovely stay and would definitely recommend. Also very close to a lot of supermarkets which was very handy!

Lovely holiday let

  • 5 of 5

Just left Salmon's Leap after a great week away. Modern, clean bungalow, off road parking, walking distance to the front, and made even more special with touches such as a home made Dorset apple cake waiting for us on our arrival. Highly recommended.

Just Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a fabulous week in Weymouth. We had a lovely welcome from Keith and Sue who then left us to it, giving us complete privacy. This was our first stay at Salmons Leap but I'm sure not the last.

The property was so comfortable, well-equipped and extremely clean. We particularly liked the bi-folding doors which opened out onto the lovely decking and garden. The parking space to the rear of the property was very useful too.

This is a perfect base from which to explore the area and we made the most of it visiting the local RSPB reserves at Lodmoor, Radipole, Arne and Portland. A couple of nights we walked into Weymouth (took about 15 mins) and the other times we took the bus. It was only £3 each for a day-rider ticket which you can use all over Weymouth. Well worth the money!

We also played a couple of games of golf at Came Down and Weymouth Golf Clubs - both in very good condition.

A fabulous holiday - we will return in the next few years I'm sure - still lots more to see!

A Perfect Place

  • 5 of 5

We had another fabulous week in Weymouth. Our THIRD stay at Salmons Leap and we found it just as comfortable and well-equipped as before. It was lovely to see Sue and Keith again - as always attentive without being intrusive. This is a perfect base from which to explore the area and we made the most of it visiting the local RSPB reserves, Portland and the reserve at Arne. We had a fantastic time and hope to be back next year.
