A recently converted property set in the garden at the rear of the Pink House B and B, Salmon's Leap is a self contained unit with Parking offering accommodation for two and has achieved a Four Star Self Catering rating from Visit England, with a much coveted Gold Award. Situated within easy walking distance of Lodmoor Country Park and Greenhill beach and an approx 7 min bus journey into Weymouth town centre. Salmons Leap is the ideal base to explore the beautiful Jurassic Coast.

Bookings are taken on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday.

Outside: Bifolding doors give access to decking with outside seating. Adjacent to the decking is a small BBQ area, with kettle BBQ and some additional seating. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen is provided, with beds made up prior to arrival. A bath and hand towel is provided for each guest. The property will have been cleaned before your arrival. If staying for more than 1 week a change of linen will be provided.

Central hideaway for couple in Weymouth.

Well equipped bungalow in the back garden of the owners with rear access and parking space. Close to supermarkets , takeaways and pubs. Plenty of places to visit by car in the area, even out of season , eg Lyme Regis West Bay, Chesil Bech, Swanage, Durdle Dor and Lulworh Cove.

Bungalow comfy with very large bed, large shower room and excellent heating, but access via back alley.

Accommodation spotless and comfortable, a real home from home with everything you could possibly require provided at the bungalow. Even a parking space which was a bonus.A great spot for exploring Weymouth and the surrounding area. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending the Salmon Leap.

"Salmon's Leap" is a scrupulously clean custom-built bungalow at the rear of the owners' B&B, built and equipped to the highest standards. There is a small parking area next to the property and a very pleasant private, secluded garden with garden furniture, a small barbecue and wooden decking. There is even mint in the garden - very useful for self-caterers! Inside, the bungalow comprises a bedroom with an enormous (super-king size) very comfortable bed and ample storage space, a small entrance lobby, a pleasant bathroom with shower and a kitchen/dining room with all the necessary equipment, including a washing machine and television. Wi-fi is also provided. A real bonus is the proximity to a Lidl supermarket just a short walk up the road, plus bus stops, a pedestrian crossing and a postbox immediately outside the premises, all of which can be reached via the B&B garden. The buses (Nos 10 and 2) run at approximately 10-minute intervals in both directions, the town centre and seafront being only a 10-minute ride away with the lovely harbour with its pubs and restaurants just a short walk further on. In a word - perfection! We will definitely recommend "Salmon's Leap" and would very much like to stay there again, the owners being very pleasant and friendly without encroaching on our privacy.

Salmon's leap is but a short journey to a plethora of dining options, with many restaurants, pubs and bistros offering a range of food styles, especially around Weymouth harbour.

The local shops are a short walk away, with two large national supermarkets close by. These all provide cash machines, pharmacy and dry cleaning.

Booking Notes: Book on line with Owners Direct, or alternatively, e-mail or telephone to make an enquiry or booking. Terms and conditions will be provided. On booking, a 25% deposit will be requested with receipt given. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Changeover Day:
Change over day is on a Saturday. Arrival times are after 3 pm unless otherwise agreed. departure is 10 am.

Directions to Salmons Leap: if travelling to Weymouth by car use the satnav with postcode DT47LG. Approaching Weymouth using the A354 from Dorchester keep a sharp look out for the Galleon weather vane above Morrisions supermarket and turn left at the roundabout. Keeping Morrisons to your left and continue past Lidl's store. Please call us on 01305 759303 to tell us if your arrival so we can meet you. Look ahead for the next pedestrian crossing and pull in to the Pink House 122a Dirchester Road for final directions, or alternatively continue past the traffic lights and turn left into Gove Ave. about 50 meters along Grove Ave turn left up the unadopted lane to Salmons Leap. The lane is a little bumpy.

If arriving from the Prston Beach Road bear right at St John's Church and move over to the left hand side. Drive up Dorchester Road past Tesco's on your right. Continue down the hill and look for Grove Ave or the Pink House as already described.
