The apartment is located a few meters from the beach in the bustling 22 @ district, the most innovative area in Barcelona. It is just 20 minutes by taxi or car from Barcelona’s airport and a few minutes’ walk from the Subway, Tramway and bus stop with direct connections to the city centre. You’ll reach the popular beaches of Mar Bella and Bogatell in less than 10 minutes by foot. You’re also at 10 minutes walking distance from the CCIB, one of the largest convention centres in Southern Europe noted for its architectural beauty and a seaside location. 200 meters away you will find the subway station (line 4) that connects directly with Barcelona’s main places of interest such as the Olympic Village, the Passeig the Gràcia with the Pedrera and the Casa Batlló (Gaudí houses), the old quarter with the Rambla or the Sagrada Familia.

Great Apartment!

Loved this apartment, it was just what our family of 4 needed! The fact that it had parking available as well was a huge bonus and if you are flying into Girona, it is on that side of the city, so easy to arrive and depart. Metro access was great as well, and there is a grocery store not too far. Owner was helpful and Venus who saw us in and out, was very sweet as well. I felt this was great value for money and I would definitely stay there again. The neighbourhood felt very safe and other than a few celebrations the evening of Christmas Eve, it was very quiet and we all slept very well - loved the black out shades! We had a great time being able to make use of the kitchen and the kids helped make up tapas for us all at the end of the day - I can't imagine we would have had as nice of a stay at a hotel. Rent this apartment, you will not regret it!

Amazing well equipped apartment...one child (aged 17) slept in the room with bunkbeds and the other (aged 15) chose to sleep in the lounge...all very comfortable!

Quiet and seemingly safe area with Lidl just up the road....handy for essentials! Excellent location for beach (10 mins walk) and metro station. We ate most nights at Las Ramblas Poblenou (10 mins walk), excellent selection of restaurants and lovely atmosphere.

Our children would have been happy to spend the whole week at the pool which was quite small but never overcrowded....quite often, we were the only ones there!

Venus is a lovely friendly lady who was waiting for us upon arrival and came back early in the morning for our early departure as requested. There is a taxi rank just opposite the apartment, so when taking the bins out before our departure, we managed to ask a taxi to wait while we checked out, so we didn't pre order taxi to take us back to the airport.

Location is excellent for sightseeing, we used the Metro (very cheap and easy to use) to get to Parc Guell, Camp Nou, Magic Fountains and Las Ramblas.

We walked (very slowly due to the heat) to La Sagrada Familia from the apartment...it took approx 30 mins.

We would definately recommend this apartment as its suitable for a beach holiday and also for sightseeing. We had good communications with Barbara and no problems at all with money transactions and transfers etc.

Modern apartment near shops and metro.

We stayed in Barcelona for about 3 weeks during the spring. The apartment is very nice and benefits from the sun in the morning which kept it warm, it is also quiet. It is in a nice block, in a good neighbourhood, a few hundred metres from Poble Nou Ramblas with its supermarkets, shops and restaurants and on Avenida Diagonal there are two shopping centres, Glories 500m and Diagonal Mar about 1 km. There is a tram which runs along Diagonal.

The beach is about 15 minutes walk away and the nearest metro is about 5 minutes. It is easy and quick to get in to the middle of Barcelona, which is a great place to spend time. Sagrada Familia is about a 20 minute walk and its good to go when there are less tourists about.

An information file was left for us and the check in was straightforward.

Barcelona Apartment

We arrived and were warmly welcomed by Venus. The apartment was just like the photos all very clean, comfortable and with all mod cons, Lovely terrace with furniture which got the sun so breakfast outside, Lovely area with Mini Las Ramblas close by and Agbar Tower and beaches, Metro and Tram minutes away. Also Lidls very handy for our needs. Used metro getting T10 card and got around seeing lots of Barcelona's sights. Great city and would recommend this Apartment for anyone especially families.

Bright, clean appartment

A lovely, clean appartment. Fabulous balcony which gets the sun, plenty of space to eat outside. A good kitchen, fridge p, washing machine and dishwasher. Short walk to Lidl supermarket.

Bright attractive flat, near beach and shops

The flat was clean, spacious and well-equipped. Lovely big balcony for sitting and eating- gets the sun the first half of the day. The whole building was well maintained and secure. Great location about 5 mins walk from Poble Nou metro station and shops: Lidl on the same street and lots of little grocers shops, as well as a bigger supermarket near the metro station. About 5-10 mins from Las Ramblas Poblenou which had lots of cafes and restaurants. 15 min walk to the beach down the bottom of the main street. We really liked walking down the Carrer Maria Aguilo in the evening, narrow pedestrianised street where the shops seem to be open from about 5.30 pm- 9pm- every type of shop, fishmongers, butchers, shoe shops, children's book shop, gift shops, clothes shops..

We took a taxi from the airport which was 40 euro as we arrived late in the evening. Getting back was straightforward enough, metro to Passeig de Gracia (15 mins) then 30 mins on Renfe train to the airport (Terminal 2) and shuttle bus to T1 (about 1.5 hours in total). We used a T10 ticket to get around which works out at 1 euro per person per trip. Fantastic value.
