'Caswell' is a delightful, refurbished welsh stone cottage just minutes from the Coastal Path in Solva, one of Pembrokeshire's most picturesque villages. The cottage comprises of a comfortable living room with original wood beams and stone floor and a fully equipped kitchen/dining room downstairs. Upstairs there are three bedrooms (2 x double, 1 x single) and a large modern back bathroom, all tastefully decorated with bespoke soft furnishings. Outside to the back of the cottage is a pretty garden and patio area with off-road parking for one vehicle and additional roadside parking at the front. It is within easy reach of Solva Harbour with its tea rooms, pubs and shops, whilst the village is an ideal base from which to explore the coastal path, fantastic local beaches, stunning coastline and sites of historic interest such as nearby St Davids (3 miles away) and the natural beauty of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and its wildlife.

Notes on accommodation: Caswell is recently renovated and has been decorated to a high standard with bespoke curtains and fittings. Dogs are welcome. Please keep them downstairs and off of the furniture Outside: Caswell has a secluded, enclosed garden with patio area at the back of the cottage Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: We provide bed linen and towels which are changed at the end of each occupancy. The property is cleaned at the end of each stay. Other: With its cosy log burner, and large sash windows with upstairs view of Solva Bay, this lovely cottage is ideal for both summer and winter holidays.

Absolutely perfect!

We have just returned from this fabulous cottage. Perfect location, only minutes from the coastal path with easy access to Solva and the surrounding areas. The cottage itself is beautifully presented and a good size. Everything you could possibly need has been thought of. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and certainly didn't want to leave. Can't wait to return! Thank you Jacqui!

Thank you Jacqui, we had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage in Solva. The location couldn't have been more perfect for our stay, right by the beach for lovely coastal walks and we could easily drive to St Davids that was slightly more lively which was only 5 minutes drive away. Had all amenities we needed in the village including a number of pubs and also a local shop. The welcome pack that was left before our arrival was also a thoughtful touch and much appreciated! Cosy cottage...perfect

This was our 4th stay at this gem of a cottage which probably says more than I can put into words. The cottage has everything you will need to ensure you have a relaxing break, it's location is perfect for walking on the coastal path and if you decide to stroll into Solva there are plenty of quality places to eat at a reasonable price. There is an enclosed garden at the rear of the cottage & off road parking....and yes... we've already booked for next year !

Amazing find!!!

Amazing cottage in a fabulous location. Every little thing in the cottage was thought about and it was like home from home. Jacqui had left a welcome package of milk, tea, coffee, sugar and welsh cakes, that was very much appreciated ( I always forget to take milk!). Cottage was really warm when we got there and there is a log burner to be used too. Every room is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We have 2 very well behaved dogs and they were welcome at the cottage too.

It is a 5 minute walk from Solva Harbour and the Pembrokeshire coastal path and the views are beautiful. Solva village has a couple of pubs where you could get a drink, a meal or just a coffee and dogs are very welcome.

Jacqui was very easy to deal with and we will definitely be returning here.

Location

Coast/Beach:

Within 2 minutes walk of the world renowned Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and Solva harbour, a vast expanse of sand at low tide and a bustling quay for crabbers and sailors at high tide, or those just wanting a drink and watch the world go by. The Blue Flag beaches of Whitesands (5 miles) and Newgale (4 miles) are within easy distance for surfers, bathers or just sun bathers, along with numerous other hidden coves and bays.

Travel:

Solva is easily accessible by road, 12 miles along the A487 from Haverfordwest, which also provides regular, hourly buses. The nearest train station is also at Haverfordwest. Use of car is recommended if you want to go further afield.

Distances:

Caswell is located at the top of the village of Solva. St Davids, Britain's smallest city with its historic cathedral, and bijou shops is just 3 miles away. The towns of Haverfordwest and Fishguard are 12 and 15 miles away respectively.

Further Details:

The coastal path which runs through Solva attracts walkers from all over the world. Birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts have numerous locations to visit nearby, including the islands of Ramsay and Skomer. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of activities locally such as horse riding, kayaking, rock climbing, surfing and windsurfing.

Nearby St David's has a local supermarket and high street banks.
