The cottage is just as it looks in the photos. A wide range of kitchen utensils, cosy electric blankets, away from it all location.

Lovely cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. We felt very welcome - the owner left us a tray with fresh scones, butter and jam. There was a vase of fresh daffodils on the table.

There are lovely views of the gardens and countryside from all the windows.

I would definitely recommend this proprty

An amazing stay in a fabulous cottage. Everything you could possibly want in a tranquil position with fantastic views over a garden worthy of Chelsea flower show. Would definite recommend. We will be back.

No words can describe how gorgeous we thought of the cottage. Stunning.

  • 5 of 5

We only stayed four nights, but everything was perfect. Such a welcome - mince pies, fizzy in the fridge as well as basics like milk, tea and coffee. Unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by my mother's rapidly deteriorating health which was a constant worry, and of course the Lake District weather!!! We shall certainly book again. The only criticism we had; we feel there should have been grab-rails in the shower (which I have to say was one of the best!!).
