Delightful return to Albert Cottage

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I enjoyed a return visit to Albert Cottage which is perfect for us with the beautiful country side to walk the dog, lovely villages close by and West Bay which is my favourite costal beach. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend Albert Cottage.

Friend's 50th Birthday weekend

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful, tastefully decorated, very comfortable cottage. Everything you might need was provided.

We spent 2 very relaxing nights here, and thoroughly enjoyed visiting the local shops for coffee and dinner.

The location is perfect for getting to the beach at West Bay and also the lovely town of Lyme Regis.

For anyone needing a bit of R&R it's perfect. And for those wanting to get out in the fresh air, it's perfect for that too. Mind you, we took our bikes and discovered just how hilly it is. No problem for the hard core cyclists, but for me a bit too challenging!

All in all a great place to stay. Thank you to Elaine and John for taking such good care and providing such a clean, beautiful cottage!

Excellent quality,comfort and location

  • 5 of 5

We spent a delightful three days at Albert Cottage. The beds were comfortable , as promised, the cottage outstandingly clean, tastefully furnished, everything one could want and more from a holiday let. We are looking forward to returning to this or one of Mr Leader's other properties which look equally as appealing.

Beautiful, well equipped and ideally situated.

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is big, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Ideal with children (plenty of room to run around) and dogs (no carpets and a a secured garden), it is 2 minutes away from tea houses, pubs and restaurants so there was plenty to do even on a rainy day (excellent lunch at the very welcoming Red Lion). As it is close to the coast we were able to go to a new beach every day and also visited the beautiful Forde Abbey nearby. A fantastic stay!

Welcoming cottage accommodation

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Albert Cottage with our two dogs.

It is ideally located near the centre of Beaminster, a short walk away from local shops and amenities. Beaminster itself also makes an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area.

The property itself has been renovated to a good standard whilst maintaining its traditional charm. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a separate dining area in addition to the living room. Having one small dog with a propensity for escaping, we really appreciated the secure garden. We visited in Autumn but can see that it would make a great space to enjoy eating outside in the summer.

The master bedroom was our favourite room as it manages to be spacious and cosy. The bathroom is clean and modern.

Lovely Cottage and great location

  • 5 of 5

Another very enjoyable stay in this comfortable and very well equipped cottage. Enclosed garden is ideal for the dog as are the walks and rambles nearby, even after two visits there is still much to explore. There's an interesting craft centre, the lovely West Bay beach, Seaton, Beer, all not too far from the cottage location. The owners (John and Elaine) ensure you are happy about everything and we would be delighted to stay in Albert Cottage yet again.
