About the property

Cottage in St Agnes, Cornwall, England Peaceful Wooded Conservation Area Setting. 10 Minutes Walk To The Beach

The cottage benefits from a superb location within walking distance to all local facilities in the village and the beach. We have just recently installed BT Vision TV and Hi speed WiFi. There is a fully equipped kitchen and large utility room which provides ample easy workspace and there is a dining table in the kitchen for meals. Children will love the woodland garden and there is a large and private sheltered patio with high quality teak furniture for those al fresco meals & drinks in the sunshine. There is an off road car parking space. The Cottage has full central heating and is superbly furnished and equipped. Sorry, pets are not allowed.

About David and Stephanie Poole

Rose Cottage is a single family owned and managed property. We fell in love with the area when visiting with our young family in 1998 and have been visiting ever since. We purchased Rose cottage in 2003 and have completely renovated the cottage adding many new features. We visit frequently ourselves and find this a really useful way of experiencing the cottage as visitors. As a result we are always making small improvements to enrich any stay. Most recently we upgraded the WiFi to Hi-Speed Infinity by BT, adding BT Sport and TV service. We also feature the "bath pod" where you can soak away the cares of the day in a long bath tub listening to your favourite tunes.

David and Stephanie Poole purchased this cottage in 2003

Why David and Stephanie Poole chose Truro & Falmouth area

St Agnes is a busy local community year round. Its a superb location for walking, or enjoying the many attractions of the county. St Ives, Padstow, Truro and Newquay are all a short drive away. However we also know that once you have arrived at Rose Cottage everything you need is within walking distance so you don't need to drive again unless you want to!

What makes this cottage unique

Although in the centre of the town Rose Cottage is very private and secluded. The wooded garden and surrounding conservation area give it an idyllic setting.

2 fun weeks

We thought the actual property was better than depicted, it is lovely. The cottage is close to the village and a number of bars and restaurants.

We used the Webber BBQ several times and the outdoor table seating was very comfortable.

For a holiday in Cornwall this is a great location with good amenities

A hidden gem - beautiful Cornish cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay at Rose Cottage. It was beautifully decorated, was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was lots to do in the local area and the coastline and beaches were breathtaking. I highly recommend this cottage for a luxury week away.

Lovely cottage, perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We knew the area well from previous holidays but we'd never stayed in this cottage before. The position is idyllic - a small stream runs along the bottom of the garden, it is quiet and secluded yet just a short walk to the town centre in one direction and the sea in the other. There are places to eat nearby so you don't have to worry about driving home after having a tipple (or two!). The cottage decor and furnishings are modern and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The owners are so helpful and obliging and even left a bottle of bubbly in the fridge for us! St Agnes itself is a lovely seaside town - small enough to remain quaint yet large enough to have all the resources to make a holiday comfortable and entertaining.

Superior quality

  • 5 of 5

Even better than the photographs online, this exceptional vacation house located in a very green valley hosts up to 6 people. It is equipped with everything you need, from Le Creuset cookingware to first class sanitary equipment. The interior design is cosy and fresh, so rainy days are also no problem. We loved the proximity to the harbor/beach which offers waes for bodyboarding or surfing. St Agnes itself is a beautiful, small village, that was very quiet while we were there in March. We would love to come back!

Cosy luxury in st agnes

  • 5 of 5

This is a well equipped, luxurious cottage centrally located in st agnes. Mid way between the beach and town. St agnes is our favourite village in Cornwall and it really knows how to celebrate New Year's Eve!

Heavenly

  • 5 of 5

As soon as we arrived we were at home in Rose Cottage. Perfect for a growing teenage family with room for their friends! Sympathetically and stylishly decorated, the Cottage is equipped with everything one might need including furniture outside to enjoy an early morning cup of tea.

Trevaunance Cove is just a 5 minute walk away and a perfect slice of heaven.

David and Stephanie respond promptly to any query and are very helpful.

I couldn't fault our holiday and would highly recommend Rose Cottage. Already booked next year- can't wait!
