Casa Leon Sleeps 8 (4 Bedrooms)

This charming air-conditioned and centrally heated town house is ten minutes' drive from Marbella and Puerto Banus, and 45 minutes from both Malaga and Gibraltar airports. The beach is only two minutes' traffic-free walk through the trees. There are 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite), guest cloakroom, living room, fully fitted kitchen and separate laundry room. The master bedroom has a king-size double bed, bedrooms two and three can be either double or twin, and bedroom four has a double bed . We can provide a cot and/or high chair (free) on request. The kitchen is fully fitted, with oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer, deep fryer etc. The laundry room contains a washing machine and tumble-dryer. Casa Leon has white marble floors throughout, Astra satellite TV with hundreds of channels in many languages, DVD, English books, toys and games, etc. The house is equipped with wireless ADSL. There is also a very nice (in tune) piano, which you are welcome to use.

We have been in the business for more than10 years. We often live in either of our beach properties, our 4- bedroom ( Casa Leon, Chalet #4) and our 3- bedroom Penthouse ( Bloque 1B AD) which belong to the same SunBeach Urbanizacion so they are well maintained and amenities are kept to a standard. Bus stops are just outside the urbanizacion and walking distance to the beach, tapas, restaurants, bakery, shops, paddle and tennis club etc. We will personally welcome you during the meet and greet and we will be just a phone call away if you needed us.Please feel free to browse our property details and we hope you'll have a nice holiday here in the New Golden mile, Estepona,Costa del Sol.

Booking Notes:
We ask for a deposit of 30% at the time of booking, and the balance 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. Normal check-in time is 2pm, and check-out 10am, but we'll try to be flexible if at all possible. There are no hidden extras; a cot and high chair can also be provided free of charge by request. We don't ask for a damage deposit; we've always trusted our clients, and no-one has ever let us down.

Changeover Day:
Flexible change over. Check in at 2pm and check out at 10am, but could be flexible as well if we dont have guests that time.

Notes on prices:
The rental price includes everything; air-con and central heating, full Sky Tv (42") with movies, sports, kids etc, Astra satellite with hundreds of international channels WIFI internet, free Spanish land line phone calls, etc. etc. Free weekly change of linen and baby sitting available on request with extra charge. Monthly stay with special rate is also available.

Weekly clean and change of linen free of charge. Baby sitting available with extra charge. All linen and towels (including beach towels) are provided. High chair and cot provided free of charge upon request. Outside: There are extensive communal gardens, with two large swimming pools and shower and toilet facilities. Casa Leon: Upstairs there is an enormous private roof terrace of almost 600 sq. ft., with dining area, shaded sofa seating, sun beds and sea and mountain views. There is also a charcoal barbecue and cushion storage, in the unlikely event of rain. The Penthouse: A large patio garden, with dining and sunbathing areas and a barbecue. On the second floor there is a beautiful 900 sq. feet roof terrace with sea and mountain views, shaded dining area and sun beds. Both properties are just 3-minute walk to the beach and very nice tennis and paddle club. Both properties ideal for big family. Could sleep 14 in total and just across the garden to each other.

Great Winter Retreat

We had a fabulous time at Casa Leon, just as Marissa said it would be. The property is very homely and a great place to spend six weeks in the sun in winter. We can’t imagine how great it would be at other times of the year. The local shops and bar owners are so helpful and friendly. Being situated between Estepona and Marbella all the activities you may require on holiday are there. Be sure to take a trip up to Istan, an Andalusian town in the mountains (market day Saturday) it will take your breath away. Try the dish of the day in the town square bistro, mmm.

Great apartment and Marrissa was so welcoming, take care on directions not sure if it was us or the sat nav, but got a little lost. Fantastic apartment we had 4 adults and 2 kids, lots of space and good facilities. Local shops, good couple of restaurants and a good swimming pool, 5 mins from beach, but the best part is the roof top terrace, beautiful well equipped and used all day and evening.

3- minute walk across the footbridge in front of SunBeach urbanizacion is the quaint little village of Cancelada, where the Friday market is. 7-minute drive to the famous yacht harbour of Puerto Banus Saturday market and a leisurely 10-minute-drive to the Sunday (8-2pm) flea market(rare items) of the beautiful white village of Benahavis ( famous food cuisine) where the late Princess Diana used to stay. You can enjoy the mobile tapas( freshly cooked) and churros y chocolate.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol has the sunniest climate in Europe, and is the number 1 holiday destination for British and Scandinavian holidaymakers. There are many towns and villages to visit, and the beach facilities are second to none. Tarifa, Europe's top windsurfing location, is only an hour's drive, and just beyond there you will find Bolonia, the site of a well-preserved Roman city. From Tarifa you can also take the fast ferry (30 minutes) to Tangier, if you would like to spend a day in Africa. Visas are not required for Brits. Behind the coast there are beautiful "White Villages" and spectacular mountain scenery. Estepona is a bustling town with good shopping , restaurants, bars, biggest orchidarium in Europe, Paleolithic museum, safari park, nudist beach, long beach promenade ( with bike lanes), yacht harbour, spa, etcetera, and Sun Beach is surrounded with golf courses. This stretch of the coast is known as the new Golden Mile, and has more 5-star hotels than Marbella. Between November and April, skiing is available in Sierra Nevada, about 2 hours' drive away where the Unesco Heritage site of Alhambra palace is.


Casa Leon is 200 metres from the beach, and is a very child-friendly place. There are many restaurants within 5 minutes'walk. Selwo safari park is only 5 minutes' drive away, there are riding stables nearby, and the Mijas Aquapark and Tivoli World, cable cars to falcon sanctuary are both 40 minutes away. If you walk across the footbridge at the top of the road (2 minutes), you'll find the pueblo of La Cancelada. Wander the little streets of the pueblo and you'll find a bakery, two general stores ( fruits and veggies), post office, wine store, golf equipment rental, equestrian store, hair salons, Buddha gymn, a health shop, a chemist, an ironmonger, a newsagent, an ice-cream parlour, tapas bars and so many fine restaurants, you could spend two weeks eating out at a different place every night..
