Positioned in the heart of the resort in and amongst all the bars, restaurants and shops for all your needs. Located on the 1st floor with lift access East facing balcony with stunning mountain views. Underfloor heating throughout, fully refurbished to a high standard, sleeps up to 8 in comfort. Comprises of bedroom with double bed and foldaway bunk beds, hall with wardrobes, WC and bathroom. The lounge contains a large L-shaped sofa bed, fold away bunk beds, and a coffee table that turns into a dining table to seat up to 8. The apartment has a bespoke fitted fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, electric hob. The ski locker is on the ground floor and a separate cave space is opposite the apartment for extra sports kit or luggage storage.

About Alexander Crump

I am a former Officer in the Royal Marines. With a passion for adventure and the great outdoors, Les 2 Alpes offered me everything I was looking for in a holiday destination. It’s a resort which benefits from not only a thriving winter season of skiing, snowboarding and fantastic après ski; but is also the only resort in France with summer snow sports on offer. Add this to the mountain biking, running and walking trails in the beautiful surroundings and it truly is the ideal resort to enjoy year round.

When I am not running around with the Royal Marines I like nothing more than running around these mountains by both day and night!

Why Alexander Crump chose Les Deux Alpes

I purchased in 2012 and renovated in the Summer of 2013. Les 2 Alpes is a slice of heaven, Summer or Winter, away from the hustle and bustle and realities of the real world.

The two main reasons I chose L2A is its proximity to major transport hubs allowing easy access by Rail, Road or Air; and its fantastic Summer skiing up on Europe's largest glacier.

It is not just the resort itself that is stunning, the local area is wild and endless, you can explore for the rest of your life and never see the same scenery twice!

What makes this apartment unique

My major drive to renovate the apartment was in order to create a space that allows close families or friends somewhere comfortable to relax. The large fully fitted kitchen was a big point, so that you can all feed, stay in and entertain to a high standard.

There is nothing better than relaxing on the balcony with a good book and glass of wine in the summer or settling in during the winter months for a movie on the big screen. Underfloor heating means you can lounge around on the floor nice and warm too!

Location

Coast/Beach:

During the summer months, the lake in resort has fine golden sands tipped on to it! It makes a perfect location for all the family to relax, sunbathe or swim.

Travel:

From the UK by: Car, Calais takes approx 9 hours either by ferry or Euro tunnel. Train, Eurostar from either London St Pancras or Ashford International to Paris. From there change on to the excellent TGV service which has a direct service that takes 6 hours to Grenoble City centre. From there you can either hire a car, private taxi transfer or catch the local bus service. PLANE, Grenoble Airport or Lyon St. Exupery.

Outside: The patio door opens onto the private balcony with stunning unspoilt views of the mountain and pistes. Contains outdoor chairs and table. Utility Room: The wardrobes in the hallway contain an electric hoover with pull out hand-held hoover, travel ironing board, iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Professionally cleaned at the end of your stay. Linen is available from the management company in resort at a cost of 10 Euros/person and 6 Euros/person for towels (1 large & 1 small). Other: The hallway has the fitted wardrobes for all your storage needs. The ski locker is located on the ground floor and separate cave for storing luggage or extra sports equipment is opposite the apartment.

Great apartment, highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed in L2A in this lovely apartment in April 2017. The apartment location is fantastic because it is in the centre of the resort meaning only a short walk to the main lifts and there were plenty of restaurants and bars within easy reach of the apartment.

The owner Alex was easily contactable and always responded quickly to any questions. Getting the key and linen from Alex’s colleague in the resort was quick and easy.

The price of the apartment is very competitive compared with others in the resort but we thought that this was well worth the money. Unlike most the apartments which are typically Alpine style, this apartment was fresh and modern and is clearly maintained to a high standard. It was very well equipped for cooking, had a fab shower and was very clean and comfortable.

We stayed here in the penultimate week of the season 2017 and on arrival were disheartened by the lack of snow in the resort and lower pistes which run directly into the resort. However, we were told that the snow was still good on the upper slopes and this was indeed the case. The height of the resort and the presence of the glacier means that snow is always available. We had beautiful blue skies and sunshine so were treated to the amazing views in every direction as we went down the mountain. If you have a day off the slopes we would recommend a visit to Venosc from the cable car at the edge of the resort.

Great apartment, super location!!!

Cosy flat in the center of town with easy access to shops and slopes.

Lovely apartment, great location, friendly owner!

Stayed at this apartment with friends (20s) for the Rise Festival. Apartment is right in the centre of the town, with some lovely shops, pubs and restersunts around it. Main Jandri ski lift also directly opposite so easy and fast access to the slopes. 10/10 for location.

Apartment itself was modern and all in all very nice, beds comfortable, great tv and sound bar. Personally we felt that the featured pictures make it look a little bigger than it actually is and if there had been 8 of us (there was six in our party) I feel we would be falling over each other a lot, however this does not take away from the high standard the apartment was.

Great commutation with Alex prior and during our stay, was always happy to help, very polite and friendly, thank you :)

Summer stay in L2A 2016

I have visited this resort many times, summer and winter. It is the all round sporting capital for all age groups. This time though I chose the best apartment ever. It was modern, spacious, comfortable and in the

centre of the village. it was well equipped with a superb stylish kitchen,. ample seating, and brilliant entertainment system. You could not go wrong. View from balcony amazing. Also the staff in resort were well organised and very helpful. Well done to the team.

Will definitely revisit.

Wonderful week for our family

Wonderful property in the centre of the village. Restaurants and bars all around and max 5 mins walk to main lifts. Views amazing and very high spec apartment including Fan TV for watching a family movie after coming off the slopes. Worked perfectly with our three children and will definitely be back!!

Changeover Day:
Check-in for the apartment occurs between 3pm & 7pm each Saturday. Check out of the apartment is before 10am on your last Saturday.

Notes on prices:
Prices shown are per apartment per week on a self catering basis. Included in the price are all utilities & WiFi, basic cleaning products, and an end of stay clean. We accept payment in £GBP or € Euro by bank transfer or any card securely via Pay Pal. Also included in the service is a meet & greet at the apartment and a show around to make sure you are happy and understand how everything works and the apartment is clean to a high standard. A damage deposit of £350 will be taken on-site.
