Villa in Buenavista, Nr. Moraira, Costa Blanca North, Spain - Very Private, Peaceful Location, 3 Minute Drive To Beach, 8 Minute Drive Into Moraira

The villa has sea views and is very private. It includes a secluded swimming pool, air conditioning/heating, a large landscaped garden and off street parking. The main villa has various terraces, including a small roof terrace and a traditional naya with stunning sea views, and views over the swimming pool, garden and forest, a comfortable lounge with free view TV, dual air conditioning and heating and a wood burner, fully equipped small kitchen, master bedroom with sea view, second double bedroom, shower with wc, and second separate wc. Both bedrooms in the main house also have air conditioning. The separate lower ground floor annexe is ideal for couples, grandparents, or older offspring who do not require supervision, with a door opening to a separate terrace and garden. The annexe consists of a small sitting room, an extremely large sleeping area with one double and one single bed and includes a basic kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle). The annexe also has a large shower room with wc.

Why Anne chose Benissa

The property is situated in an area called Buenavisa (Beautiful View) and that's exactly what the villa has. It is also bordered on one side by a pine forest, but is in an area with lots of other houses, so you do not feel isolated. It is under 10 minutes to Moraira town and the same again to Calpe, so you have the best of both worlds.

There are numerous walks within a 20 minute drive and details and maps and books with maps are available in the villa.


As the villa is close to the sea, there are a number of opportunities to access the various coves and beaches within a 3 - 10 minute drive. The closest beach and cove is a 3 minute drive, but there are numerous coves and beaches including Playa le Ampolla, Morairs's main beach which is a 10 minute drive.


Alicante is approximately 1 hour drive. Valencia is approximately 1.5 hour drive. Taxis are available but car hire is recommend.


Moraira is 8 minutes drive away, Calpe with its renowned hike up the "Ifach Rock", beautiful beaches and various beachfront seafood restaurants is a 10 minute drive. Benidorm with its various theme parks is a 35 minute hour drive south. Javea is 25 minutes north and Denia a bit further.

Further Details:

The famous "hanging" village of Guadalest is only one hour away inland as are the unforgettable waterfalls of Algar are also an hour away. Not only are there some breathtakingly beautiful coastal walks, but also wonderful walking in the mountains behind the coast. A tennis club is a ten minute walk from the villa. Kayaking and diving are also available within a 30 minute drive.

Beach, town, golf, walking Outside: A very spacious well maintained garden with seating areas on the terraces and around a very secluded swimming pool area, bordered on one side by a pine forest. The main terrace has sea views and two outdoor tables, each seating 4. The outdoor bbq area has fixed seating for 8. The downstairs patio has a table and seating for 3. The roof terrace also has a small table and 2 chairs. The property is accessed by ornate lockable gates. A large 9 x 5 private pool which is maintained weekly. Off street parking is available on the driveway, alternatively it is safe to park on the road. Both the open terrace and the covered terrace (naya) have wrought-iron gates which can be used to contain toddlers, both overlook the pool, garden and have sea views. A large library and dvds and board games, also lilos etc., are available. Utility Room: The utility room is encompassed within the separate annexe and contains a washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are included. Beach /pool towels are included. The villa is cleaned before and after departure. Other: The main bedroom with sea views has French doors leading onto the main terrace with views onto the garden and pool has sea views. The main terrace has two tables, seating 4 each. The small roof terrace accessed via winding stairs has lovely sea views too

A fabulous location and villa for families

We had a wonderful stay here with our 4 children who were in the pool constantly. Stuart and Anne were wonderful hosts and gave us lots of information before our arrival. The villa was equipped with everything we needed and the location was perfect with the most fabulous views. We spent the mornings at the beach returning back for lunch and the pool for the rest of the day. Lots of local amenities nearby for shopping etc. We look forward to returning again.

Fabulous Villa, Fabulous Holiday, Home from Home

The owners Stuart and Anne provided all we needed prior and during our stay. Their communication prior to the holiday made it all stress free. The villa more than lived up to it's description, was clean and had everything you could possibly need. The pool was clean, a nice size, well maintained and was the perfect area to relax. The area is beautiful and we would definitely recommend the coastal walk from La Fustera to Calpe. We would highly recommend this villa to family and friends and definitely hope to return.

Ideal one or two family villa

We have stayed in the area or Xabia and Moraira for many years. This being our daughters first trip abroad as a mother with her two children. With this Villa we made a good choice. The downstairs apartment was ideal for them. Leaving upstairs for ourselves with two older children. We eat together on the balcony or by the Barbecue when not eating out at one of the many local restaurants. The pool was a very welcome place on the hot afternoons after spending the mornings on the beach. The one we used was just after Algas bar and just before the main beach of Moraira both offer food to eat in or take away about 10mins from the Villa. The nearest supermarket was Pepe le Sal 6 mins from villa.

The villa itself has all you could wish for, T.V Internet Dishwasher fridge/freezer. Books for all ages. Even beach chairs and parasols.

All in all a great family holiday. And we would not hesitate in returning in the future. Thank you Stuart and Anne.

A fabulous villa in a great location!

We have just had a fabulous 2 weeks in Anne and Stuarts' villa one if the best we have stayed in yet. The villa has everything you need inside and is brilliant for relaxing outside around the pool - ample sun loungers and seating areas. Anne was so helpful throughout - both before we arrived and during our stay - as other guests gave said she really does care about the quality of your stay. The area is stunning with amazing mountainous backdrops to spectacular coastlines and a plethora of villages to visit. Moraira has many different types of restaurants and bars to choose from - one of our favourites was a Chinese restauraunt on the way in to the town with very friendly owners.

Thank you Anne and Stuart for a truly delightful holiday - we hope to return next year.

Lovely villa and fabulous pool

We spent a lovely 2 weeks at Anne and Stuart's villa, it had everything we needed and having pool/beach towels was a real plus as we came with cabin luggage only (first time but easy). We used both the villa and the downstairs apartment for my son and his partner which gave them privacy as well as being with the rest of the family. Air con was a blessing as Spain was in the middle of a heatwave. The pool was beautiful, clean and warm and very refreshing in the 36 degree heat. Lovely naya for eating meals and drinking wine of an evening. The kitchen is small but has everything you need and we had a good supply of bin bags and cleaning stuff to keep it tidy. Beds were very comfortable with lovely 'squishy' pillows. A great library of books to choose from - my husband read 9! The garden is pretty with some beautful flowers and having the pine forest beside meant many birds flitting here and there. Plenty of sunbeds and covers, inflatables for the pool and deck chairs for taking to the beach with 3 parasols too. The driveway is steep so we left the car at the bottom and walked up.

We went to the beach at El Portat, just the other side of Moraira which is beautiful and fabulous for families with young children as it is shallow for about 10-20 metres with calm seas, you can hire kayaks for 10€ an hour or 16€'s an hour for a 2 man kayak, they also have paddle boards but we didn't try those so unsure of cost but probably comparible. There are toilets and restaurants. Would advise you get there early as the strip of sand from the wall to the sea is only about 2 metres in places.

Lots of lovely restaurants in Moraira, lovely tapas etc and a lovely ambiance to sit and while away the hours with a lovely view of the rock at Calpe (Ilfach).

The Fonts D'Algar are a must, natural waterfalls which you can spend a few hours or the whole day swimming in various pools at the bottom of the falls but it is absolutely freezing so be prepared! It was 4€ each adult for the day. We did this on the way back from Gaudalest (?spelt right) a lovely mountain village with a church perched almost hanging off the top of a cliff face, cobbled streets with shops and restaurants - worth a visit.

We had to speak to Leigh Ann, the Property Management Rep who was very helpful and easily contactable (English).

Anne and Stuart have made the whole experience a delight and their sole aim is for their guests to have a lovely holiday and they certainly achieved their goal.

Wonderful villa experience

I rarely write reviews, however we spent a simply wonderful week at Anne and Stuart's villa in Moraira earlier in the summer. Every detail was taken care of, from considerate and helpful emails and directions before we arrived, through to the prompt return of the full bond.

The villa itself is wonderful, so many aspects really perfect - the view, the pool, eating breakfast in the Naya, proximity to town, spacious living and bedroom space, privacy, the list goes on. The best advice would be to book this villa for yourself and discover!

Anne and Stuart were extremely helpful, genuinely kind and we were delighted to say that we will be returning in 2015!

Booking Notes:
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required on booking with the balance being paid within 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. A security deposit of £200 is required at the time of paying the balance, with the deposit being returned within 10 days of departure.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is a Saturday (July and August), arrival after 4.00 pm. Cases can be dropped off after 2.00 pm, with departure at 10.00 am. Every attempt is made to be as flexible as possible so please contact the owners for alternative arrangements

Notes on prices:
If you do not get a response within 24 hours please call our mobile number. All prices are quoted in sterling or payable in pounds or Euro and are based on a 7 night stay.
Discounts: A 5% discount is offered on the 3rd and subsequent week for subsequent bookings for 3 weeks or more. Prices do include all use of air conditioning/heating units, all we ask is that they are not left on with the windows or doors open when nobody is in the villa.
