Farmhouse in Alcudia, North Mallorca, Mallorca, Balearic Islands - Perfect For Friends And Large Families

The farm property covers an area of 77 hectares, is located in the north of the Islands, between the towns of Pollensa and Alcudia. The agricultural concern is dedicated to sheep farming with a flock of approximately 300 sheeps. It also has a large quantity of fruits trees, almond trees, fig trees, orange trees. Two farmers work in the property however they don't live in it. The house is set in a privileged location on a hilltop with splendid views of Puerto Pollensa bay and the surrounding valley. The 17th century house has been restored and fitted with all types of commodities but keeping the atmosphere of a typical mallorcan rural construction.

Beautiful house with a lovely pool.

The owner met us at the property and kindly showed us around the house and the pool. It has a lovely open air kitchen and it was well equiped with cooking resources. The kids loved the pool table, table tennis and the amazing swimming pool. There is a barbecue that we used and we very much enjoyed eating on the terrace. A beautiful house and a fantastic holiday. Thank you very much.

Full of Majorcan soul

If you want modern, crisp and pristine, this is not the place for you. If you want soul, passion, a beautiful setting and loads of character topped with wonderful views and a very kind owner, read on.

Our family of 12 stayed at this property for a week preceding my daughter's wedding. Maria was good enough to meet and greet and show us around - no notes on the door and key under the mat, but true hospitality. It's not luxury but who wants Wedgewood when you can sup your first glass of wine from an earthen ware goblet and become completely grounded in Majorca.

The property was very clean and as well maintained as you might hope for in an older property that is a working finca.

The large pool area easily accommodated the entire family during the day either sunbathing, swimming or sitting in the shade. The large open air kitchen was quickly christened 'the drinking table' and most nights saw it being drank at or danced around. The remoteness lends itself to a family of 12 being perfectly relaxed when able to create as much noise as we can.

You do need a car but to be honest, once you've stocked up the fridge, you don't need to go anywhere else. If you must, then Alcudia and Pollenca are a very easy drive away for provisions and/or dining out.

My brother in law was very excited to spot some very unusual birds (feathered variety) both around the property and at the nature reserve about 20 minutes drive away. We can't wait to go back.
