About the Owner
My husband and I live in Torbay with our cat Moet Sparkle. Our children are all grown up and when we are not working we like nothing more than to take a break in and around St Ives and Carbis Bay. The beaches are stunningly beautiful and we like to walk along the coastal paths taking in the views. We also enjoy the many restaurants and bars and of course a bit of shopping.

“The apartment is built to a very high specification and is a great location for accessing the beaches and the coastal path. There are wide ranging sea views from the open plan lounge towards the island and Godrevy Lighthouse. It is also close to the train station which is one stop away from St Ives, which is also about a 20 minute walk. There is a good restaurant about 200 meters from the property or the Carbis Bay Hotel is approximately a 10 minute walk away where you can enjoy lunch and a nice glass of wine overlooking the beach. There is a great golf nearby as well as a convenience store and a Tescos.”
Activity and Interests
Carbis Bay beach is approximately 10 minutes walk which is a lovely family friendly beach with safe bathing. The beach is golden sand and there is a coastal path to Porthminster Beach and St Ives in one direction or the lovely sand dunes and beach of Porthkidney Sands in the other direction. All award winning Blue Flag beaches.
There is a bus stop approximately 100 meters from the apartment with buses running every half an hour (every hour on Sundays) to St Ives town or Penzance. There is also a train station half a mile from the apartment close to Carbis Bay beach. The closest airport is Newquay which is approximately 35 miles away.
There is a lovely Italian Restaurant approximately 200 meters from the apartment which also has a sports bar and a delicatessen. There is a convenience store and post office also approximately 200 meters from the property.
