No.3a Oliver apartment is a 2 bedroom Penthouse duplex apartment in a highly sought after area of Kalkan, it is a gentle 10 minute stroll to the centre of Kalkan with it's abundance of roof top restaurants, shops and bars. The apartment is very light and airy, located in the most prestigious part of Kalkan next to Regency Hotel and spa, with air-conditioning throughout, the wrap-around balconies from the lounge/diner and the private roof terrace accessed from the master bedroom offer fantastic views of Kalkan and harbour. There is a large shared circular pool surrounded by a spacious sun terrace with sunbeds and parasols.

Robert and I have been coming to Kalkan for the past 10 years. It was love at first sight. From when we first rounded the bend on the main road, the sight was literally breath taking - and it still feels the same today...like coming home. Kalkan with its clear Med waters, fabulous restaurants, and exceptionally friendly people is just perfect. After spending the first years in the Kulube then the Lykia we decided to branch out and go self catering to see if we could recreate the dream without the help of a hotel environment. It did and we found this beautiful apartment and had no hesitation in purchasing it there and then! The spectacular view sold it to us, that and the amazing location, situated in a cul-de-sac so no traffic noise when relaxing on terrace or swimming in the pool.

Kalkan is littered with fantastic restaurants and cafes all dishing up the most delicious feasts - just make sure you take loose clothing as you will be sure to gain a few pounds! The Turkish are so kind and helpful and over the years we have built up a lovely network of friends.

Highly Recommneded 2 Bed Kalkan Apartment
We spent 9 days in this wonderful apartment and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The location provided a fantastic view of Kalkan Bay and was a wonderful backdrop especially at breakfast time and whilst enjoying an early evening aperitif from the balcony. The roof top terrace also proved to be a peaceful oasis and suntrap where we could top up our tans or read our books when we didn’t want to go down to the pool.
The apartment is extremely comfortable, spacious, clean and is in very good condition. It is abundantly obvious that the owners have given a lot of thought to the needs of their guests and the way in which they managed our booking and provided all the advice we needed was second to none. We went to Kalkan in need of some serious unwinding and went home fully relaxed and recharged. We will most definitely be going back and will be recommending this apartment to our friends.
We stayed for a week in May and had the most beautiful holiday. The apartment was fantastic and so clean and welcoming. The location was ideal and the local town was full of gorgeous food and fantastic bars to enjoy ourselves at. Will DEFINITELY return!!!! Thank you
Perfect for a relaxing break
Just returned from 2 weeks at this fantastic, stylish apartment. Perfect location, short walk from the town, shops, restaurants, and beach clubs but still in a quiet area, ideal for relaxing by the pool. Our teenage daughter and her friend loved it. Apartment is very well equipped, the owners thought of everything we could have possibly needed. We often had the pool to ourselves. The rooftop balcony is perfect for pre dinner drinks and the views are simply amazing. Isobel was very helpful throughout the booking and right up to our travel date, and in Kalkan we were well looked after too. We will definitely be returning to Kalkan and to this apartment as soon as we can.
Excellent accommodation and location
We had a great time in Kalkan, what a lovely place and very friendly people too.The apartment was superb and exceeded our expectations.
We were impressed with the high standard of the accommodation, the owners correspondence leading up to our arrival and organizing transfers, which were good value for money. Samet, the apartment manager was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The whole place was spotlessly clean and felt like a home from home.
The pool area was great and on most occasions we had it to ourselves - no placing towels early in the morning as there are 4 designated beds in a good position. Also there are 4 sunbeds on the top balcony which get the sun all day. One last point - spectacular views which you will not tire of.
Me and my boyfriend spent a week at Robert and Izzie's apartment in Kalkan and it was wonderful.
The apartment overlooks the sea with a view that you never grow tired of. We often enjoyed just staying in and looking across the sea from the balcony, and having a dip in the pool.
Kalkan itself is a beautiful town with loads of good restaurants. We really enjoyed exploring off the main tourist roads and finding little hidden bars. Even in October the weather was hot enough for me to go for a swim in the sea. Definitely looking forward to going back!
A little piece of heaven!
I can't speak more highly of both this lovely apartment and the idyllic setting that is Kalkan. The apartment is equipped with everything you could think of to make it a home-from-home and it must have one of the best views in the town! There is plenty to do if you want to go on a site seeing tour or take part in water sports/diving etc, or you can just relax on the terrace or by the pool and enjoy the sunshine. The main town is just a short walk from the apartment and you're spoilt for choice as to where to eat. The food in Kalkan is delicious and extremely good value and we would have happily eaten out every night if our waistlines had allowed! Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, we will definitely be returning next year!

Fabulous mountain walking areas surround the Kalkan village. Enjoy diving in the crystal waters of Kalkan, right from the doorstep of the local harbour. Horse ride along the amazing Patara Beach,18km of golden sand, one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful and unspoilt beaches. Venture inland to the villages of Yesilkoy, Islamlar with their trout farms and mountain views and the journey to Bezirgan passes by Lycian rock tombs.
One of the top 10 reported beaches in the world is only 20 mins drive by car or 30 mins by local bus which leaves Kalkan on the hour. It is called Patara, a sleepy village atmosphere awaits you as you approach the spectacular 18kms of beach. Kappitas beach is 10km away along the coast. Kalkan local beach is 2kms.
Dalaman airport is around 1.5 hours drive from Kalkan. Antalya airport is approx 3 hours drive from Kalkan. Plenty of Car hire firms operate in Kalkan this is not essential as the apartment is very close to the town centre. Advice on guaranteed airport transfers available from owner.
The town of Kas is surrounded by larger harbour 30 mins drive along coastal road. Fethiye and its huge Tuesday market-day just 1 hour away.
The sunken city of Kekova can be reached by boat and ferry's from Kas to the nearby Greek Island of Mies also known as Castelloriz (1 hr).
Kalkan has plenty to offer. A plethora of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops offering the opportunity to browse local arts and crafts, pottery, textiles, jewellery, clothing and leather goods. There are numerous beach clubs with bathing platforms cut into the rock all of which offer various water-sports. Scuba, sailing, water skiing, canoeing etc. All beach clubs have excellent facilities for lunch and refreshments. Free taxi service available or free water taxi from the harbour, Kalamar, Mahal, Patara, Palm and Ibo's are very popular. Also Kalkan's white pebble beach along the harbour road where sun loungers and umbrellas are available for hire and numerous cafes and restaurants are very close by. There is a good selection of well stocked supermarkets, along with banks and a main post office.
Thursday is market-day and well worth a visit, local buses can take you to Patara Beach which is approx 18km of unspoilt golden sand and is a renowned breeding ground for the protected Turtles. Kas is the next largest town which is roughly 30-40 minutes and the views along the way are a must see. Boat trips go from the harbour daily.

No.3a Oliver apartment can be reserved for a non-refundable deposit of 25% on booking with the balance remaining due 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. The price includes the complete 2-storey apartment rental for up to 4 people. A damage/breakage deposit of £150 is also charged at this time, which is refunded within two weeks of departure (subject to property inspection).
For bookings within 8 weeks of departure full payment must be made with the booking.
Changeover days are flexible.

- Notes on accommodation: All of the windows and patio doors are fitted with mosquito nets for your comfort. This is strictly a non-smoking property and no pets are allowed. The roof terrace is accessed via the Master suite and has four sun loungers for private sunbathing. There is a garden set comprising two sweater settee, two chairs and drinks table for outdoor entertaining with a spectacular view. There is a shared circular swimming pool 8 meters in diameter and averaging about 5ft deep, an outside shower, four designated sun loungers and parasols are available for guests to use. Utility Room: Washing machine, iron, ironing board and clothes airer are available for your use. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath and beach towels are provided (leaving some extra space in your suitcase). The apartment is serviced once a week and bins are emptied daily. Greet on arrival to hand over keys and a welcome pack can be provided on request.
