This superb penthouse apartment offers the ideal holiday break for golf enthusiasts and families alike.

This spacious two bedroom apartment is literally right on the Los Lagos golf course (overlooking the 5th hole), which is set in 150 acres of grounds with a breathtaking backdrop of Sierra de Mijas mountain range. From the private roof-top sun terrace you can enjoy excellent views of the golf course and the mountains, soak in the sun and relax with a long drink and a barbecue. The apartment is situated in the Las Golondrinas secure complex with on site parking and a heated swimming pool.

Registered with the Andalucian Tourist Department.

Whatever you do during your holiday, you must spent at least one evening on the roof terrace watching the sun illuminating the sky and slowly setting behind the mountains – it is quite special.

The apartment is in a perfect location:

* 5 minutes drive to beaches and Fuengirola (friendly cosmopolitan town full of tapas bars and family attractions)

* 10 minutes drive to Mijas Pueblo (typical Spanish Andalusian village)

About Dorota and Shane

Hi, we are Dorota and Shane and, having found this wonderful apartment, we couldn't wait to escape to the sun so much that we have now moved permanently to Spain and now live 5 minutes away from Las Golondrinas . We enjoy everything about life here, exploring the Costa del Sol, meeting up with our new friends and practising our Spanish.

The apartment is very spacious and very well equipped but the most distinguished factor is its location and the view. The view …. that literally took our breath away when we first entered the apartment as potential buyers.

Where else can you stand on the private balcony or on the sun roof terrace and admire the rich green carpet of the golf course showing off the pattern of golden spots of bunkers and crystal blue lakes shimmering in the sun. It is so close you can almost touch it – especially when they water sprinklers start their dance at dusk.

And when you have had enough of the golf course just look up and you will be stunned for the second time. The mountain range of the Sierra de Mijas is just in front of you forming the perfect backdrop for the golf course - and only 45 min away.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Costa Del Sol and to Las Golondrinas.

What makes this apartment unique

Apart from playing golf or simply observing the golfers play you can also enjoy a show of nature on the golf course – groups of swallows making it very clear why the complex has been named after them (Las Golondrinas = swallows in Spanish), the lonely grey heron positioning itself on one of the trees in front of you, hordes of white crane claiming the golf course early in the morning in search of tasty bugs.

I personally do not know of any other place where you can feel so close to nature and yet be only minutes away from good restaurants, tapas bars, lively streets, luxury yacht marinas and the sea.

Let’s not forget the proximity of long beaches that stretch for miles and invite you to take a walk and enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine whatever the season.

Excellent Apartment

A wonderful apartment with stunning views and all the facilities you could ask for. Overlooking the golf courses, with the hills in the background, it made for a very peaceful stay. There are ample restaurants in walking distance and a good range of shops are only a short car journey away.

We were unfortunate in that our flight to Malaga was subject to a long delay and arrived after midnight. Despite this Dorota and Shane could not have been more helpful and their customer service throughout our stay was exemplary.

Would thoroughly recommend to friends and family and hopefully we will return before too long.

Fantastic apartment

Just returned from 11 night stay at this fab apt. As soon as you enter, the view is stunning, overlooking golf and mountains. So tranquil and relaxing. We loved the massive roof terrace for sunbathing and lovely shaded private terrace for evening meals al fresco. Had great walks even managed Fuengerola and back one day. Owners Dorota and Shane were so kind, friendly and helpful. Would defo return and would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Have just returned home after 6 weeks in this beautiful apartment . We spent 1 month in the apartment last year and when considering where to holiday this year it was a no brainer we had to return.

Lovely flat with fantastic roof terrace and views

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst visiting friends in the area for Christmas, the apartment had everything we needed for our stay and the owners were very attentive - they greeted us in person and even provided some cold drinks for us on arrival, a very nice touch.

The roof terrace is perfect for BBQ's and sunbathing and provides breath taking views. I would recommend this property to my friends and will certainly stay here again if I come back to the area.

from the moment we stepped through the door we felt completely relaxed the apartment was tastefully furnished and very clean . The view over the golf course was stunning . Lovely Apartment with Lovely Views.

When we arrived we were greeted by the owners Dorota and Shane who introduced us to their beautiful apartment.We found it spacious, very clean and nicely furnished everything was provided including beer and wine in the fridge with the compliments of Dorata and Shane. The terrace and roof terrace were furnished to a high standard with wonderful views overlooking the golf course and mountains in the distance. We had a lovely relaxing stay during our week and would like to thank Dorota and Shane for letting us share their place in the sun.We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends and family and hope to return one day.
