Comfortable apartment and lovely complex

Third year in a row coming back to this property.

The apartment is very nice, clean and comfortable.

We love the pool area.

We always hire a car as it makes getting to the shops and restaurants easier but one could manage without one.

Would absolutely recommend this apartment.

a lovely winter break

The apartment was in excellent condition, very clean and comfortable. We had an excellent view of Gibralter in the distance across the bay; in the afternoons, the February sun shone on the balcony and then shone into the lounge area in the evenings. We loved the local restaurants, plenty of choice, and of course, Harmons Pub and their golf society, who are very hospitable.

Very, very disappointing.

No air conditioning as advertised. Wasted 3 days of our vacation waiting for air conditioning to be repaired which wasn't working prior to us arriving. Repairman stated owner needed new air conditioner which owner decided not to do. Apartment was not cleaned prior to us arriving either. Had to buy sheets, shower curtain, frying pan because what was there was unsuitable. I have never been in a such a dirty place in my life. My husband wanted to vacate but after spending 6 hours cleaning and purchases we made we decided to stay as I also felt that our money would never be refunded.

We did request a viewing prior to renting as a friend of ours lives in the areas but told his property manager was not available to show. We are familiar with complex

and the price to stay was above average for time of year also reviews were good.

Owner's Response: Very disappointing to receive this review considering all previous reviews and guests experiences. Was unfortunate that our regular Apartment Manager was out of the country and this was the first occasion that a stand in was necessary to meet and greet the Clients. Having seen the original comments, the owner went to Spain to clarify the matters raised in said review. We now acknowledge that Air Con broke down and was completely beyond repair. It had worked for all previous guests with minor alterations during the summer. We can confirm that a new unit has now been installed, albeit to late for the outgoing guests. In any event it took 4 days to install and again the work could not be completed with guests in-situ as was discussed and confirmed by the Air Con installer at the time. Cleanliness and hygiene have always been top of our priorities over the years and we are extremely disappointed that the stand in care taker should have left this in the state the guest have outlined. We did not get an opportunity to speak to the said caretaker but can confirm now that she will no longer act in any capacity for us. Finally if the guest found the apartment in an unfit condition as described above by the Guest, we wish to apologies although there is no evidence of the apartment been untidy for the new guest. With regards to the purchases there was an adequate supply of clean linen on the premises together with 2 frying pans and as for the shower curtain we cannot confirm what is suitable or not on an individual guest basis. In conclusion please accept our sincere apologises if your experience did not match your expectations.

Good location, VERY nice apartment, and very spacious.

Our stay was too short and we wanted to stay a lot longer. We really enjoyed it. Very easy and comfortable with the pool so close. And the view and the balcony is so lovely.

The restaurants and supermarkets are in walking distance - very nice.

We will be back - for sure ☺

Beautiful spacious apartment in quiet area.

We have recently returned from our first holiday to Spain and we were not disappointed. Shane was happy to answer any questions before we booked, and always put our mind at rest. Nick was there to meet us when we arrived, really helpful and friendly and was contactable during our stay.

The apartment was great. Clean, spacious, air con, wifi, beautiful balcony and everything you could need. We would definitely recommend a car, and there is a dedicated parking space in the garage, with fob entry to the complex and garage. We have 2 children aged 9 and 5 and it was perfect for them. We had views of the pool, often had the pool to ourselves and the area is safe and secure. The small centre of Elviria has plenty of restaurants, a great supermarket and is not too 'touristy'! You would have to drive really, especially with 2 young children.

As we are from Wales we can only describe this accommodation as 'lush'!!, and we would definitely go back. Thanks very much Shane :)

Great holiday

My husband, myself and two children age 9 and 6 have recently returned from what was a great holiday. On arrival the contact Nick met us with the keys and took us up to the apartment. I was pleasantly surprise just how spacious it was and the view was just lovely. There is a good pool which you overlook and separate toilet and shower room so you don't have to go back up to the apartment every two mins if the children want the toilet.

You would require a car as it is someway up the hill. On an evening it would of been ok for us to walk down to the restaurants but in the heat too far for the 6 year old! This wasn't a problem for us however and we would definitely go back.
