We have all enjoyed our week here in this lovely home. Our dogs have had the time of their lives!

It has felt like home from home. We have had a great time.

Fantastic time, all we could want. We very much appreciated the welcome pack, a very kind and generous touch.

We love the barn...

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful place to stay!! The location of the barn was absolutely perfect for us. The views from the upstairs living space are fantastic and we loved having the moors right on the doorstep. Our daughters loved spending time with the horses in Jill and Ian's field, and the town and lovely beach were within easy reach too!! We were spoilt with the weather so were able to spend lots of time relaxing on the beach, which was easy to access with our pushchair.

Ian and Jill have worked hard to make sure that the house is comfortable and relaxing, it really is like a home from home. We loved it so much, we've already looked into going back!!! Thanks so much, we haven't felt so relaxed and comfortable on holiday for a long time.

Owner's Response: Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your stay at The Barn. It was lovely to hear that you had such a great time and felt relaxed and comfortable. Our aim is to provide somewhere to chill out and enjoy whilst exploring all that Exmoor, the coast and Minehead, with it's sandy beach and shops, have to offer. We would welcome your return visit - you were such good guests. Jill and Ian

Just add clothes...

  • 5 of 5

Just add clothes as everything else in this fabulous spacious house is provided. From the welcoming touch to the well stocked kitchen this house has it all. Throw in the views of Exmoor, the balcony sun trap and several seating areas in the quirky garden to follow the sun and you end up relaxed and happy. The ponies in the field at the back kept our daughter amused every day. Once a huge red deer had joined them much to our delight! It is a good touring base and also there are fabulous walks right from the back door. Every time we returned, with all the personal touches around, it felt like coming home. The photos do not do it justice.

Lovely Barn Conversion

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful setting for this very well equipped Barn conversion. Well thought out accomodation, plenty of space for families. It is actually better in reality than the photos, very peaceful. The owner has provided everything for a great holiday. There were five of us, four adults and a three year old, who when she was told we had to go home simply said "why"

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at the Barn and were touched to hear that three year old couldn't understand why it had to end. We hope you will visit us again.

A homely oasis

  • 4 of 5

This is a large, comfotable family home in a green and peaceful area on the western outskirts of Minehead. With 2 good sized double and one twin bedroom it suited our party of 2 adults and 3 older children (23, 21, 18) perfectly. It was astonishingly peaceful throughout the day and night, and a pleasant 15 minute walk through a lovely park to the town, with the seafront a further 15 minutes throught he town. There is a large paved area (with extensive plants) to sit out in, and a large balcony as well, though no grass. There are extensive walks up a steep hill directly from the back door. The property is very well fitted out and has multiple lounging areas. The owners have left lots of their furniture and ornaments there, so it feels homely rather than like a sterile hotel room. If you want to be near Minehead but away from Butlins I can't think of a better location!
