Lovely stay with amazing views!
It was pouring it down the whole of our stay but that didn't put a dampener on our long weekend away. The mobile home is absolutely lovely, much bigger than we were imagining and very well-equipped! It is located in a lovely little remote and peaceful area with some absolutely stunning views. Lots of brilliant attractions within a short driving distance and perfectly dog friendly. Our two pups, Wilbur & Paisley, had a lovely stay with some great walks. We were made to feel welcomed & felt at home straight away. We're hoping to come back to see much of more what the Lake District & Kendal have to offer!
When we arrived the weather was heavy rain but we were made very welcome even though we were running a little later than we had hoped. Room was made for us to park our cars as we had more than one car with us. We had two dogs who loved the space they had to play on the enclosed decking. It was also very safe for my 2 year old grandson.
The caravan was well equipped and cosy. The weather picked up on our first full day after the arrival and we had good weather all week only having rain overnight. The eggs we bought from Lesley were beautiful. Everything was lovely that week. The scenery on looking through the windows was second to none. My grandson loved watching the sheep and wanted one to bring home. Since we got home he has spoken about nothing else.
Thank you to you both for a memorable holiday.
Sheila and family.
The caravan was fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The heating warmed up in minutes so even in autumn it was cosy.
The owners gave a warm welcome and where very friendly, they maintain the caravan and site to a high standard.
The views are second to none and it's very peaceful .
The lake district has many attractions with the majority been dog friendly too, plenty of good country pubs and tea rooms serving quality food too.
I'd recommend this site to anyone and will be returning myself very soon.
Kendal View Caravan
My son and I had a very enjoyable time at Patton Hall farm. The caravan was very nicely presented and well equipped and spotlessly clean ! The view from the lounge was really lovely, and had the weather been warmer I'm sure we would have enjoyed sitting out in the enclosed decking.
There are many places of interest all around including many National Trust properties if you are a member.
Although the farm is very much in the countryside, Kendal has a good nearby shopping centre with Morrisons and Aldis so it was simple to pick up any food items we needed.
There are many good pubs nearby too and we had some very good meals there. Two of note would be, The Duke William and the Eagle and Child - both in Staverley.
We look forward to returning again one day soon.
Always Come Back For More!
We have been coming to Patton Hall for the last 7 years. It is a superb base for a peaceful stay. We have stayed in both caravans over the years and find both comfortable, clean and spacious. Robert and Lesley are warm welcoming hosts, and the price is very reasonable for the accommodation. Kendal is not too far away so it's a great base for peace and quiet but not too far to get out and about to places.
Would heartily recommend to anyone.
we spent a very comfy few days in a warm cozey caravan.very friendly owners in a beautiful location great for exploring the lakes.we realy felt refreshed after & will be back again soon.
