Beautiful holiday accommodation close to the centre of Ericeira. This pretty town-houseis beautifully presented and offers our guests an ideal base from which to explore the area. We also offer the full support of our "in resort" property manager who will provide any assistance or advice you may need during your stay. Our aim is to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible and will do all we can to meet your requirements. Ericeira is a picturesque fishing village with beautiful beaches and a host of great restaurants tempting you with everything from great steaks to freshly caught fish and seafood. World famous for it's surfing beaches, this is an ideal destination for couples and families alike and offers a taste of "unspoilt Portugal". Hard to believe that this quaint village with its maze of cobbled streets is only 30 mins from Lisbon and within a short drive of the palaces of Sintra and the cosmopolitan resorts of Estoril and Cascais.

Clean, functional and good value for money

Lovely little condo with a balcony and patio area (useful for drying swimming gear). Living area and kitchen was upstairs for the view overlooking some gardens and the sea at the bottom of the hill. Bedrooms and bathroom were downstairs which kept them cool (also had shutters for all the windows). No air conditioning but it wasn't required, condo was comfortably cool. Beds were comfy and kitchen had everything we needed (although we ate out every night as the restaurants were great -especially Ti Matilde fish restaurant where you can see the sunset). Short walk to the closest beach along the promenade -the complex is on a hill but the walk up and down is not taxing, 10-15 mins walk into the centre of the town and the harbour beach along pretty winding streets. Mainly a Portuguese holiday town-nice not to be over run with foreigners!

We didn't go to the swimming pool as it would have cost us 10 euros for the family for the day and we preferred to go to the beach (harbour beach was very sheltered, great for kids).

We took the local bus to Sintra for the day, very cheap transport. Quite touristy at Sintra and tricky to find the local buses which went up to the Moorish castle and Palace from the other end of town but tourist info was very helpful once we found it (10 min walk).

The owner, Irene, was extremely helpful when booking the accommodation, she arranged transfers from the airport to save us hiring a car which would have been very expensive and not required for just a week. I would recommend this accommodation and Ericeira as a holiday destination. Lovely town, friendly people and not too hot, always a gentle breeze to make the temperature pleasant.

Special interest holidays:

Ericeira is the only designated World Surf Reserve in Europe and one of only 4 in the World. Board and wetsuit rental is available and surf lessons can be arranged upon request. With consistent surf all year a surf trip to Ericeira is a must. Lessons, board and wet suit hire can be arranged on request.


Ericeira North Beach is a beautiful sandy beach and is only a short stroll away. Ericeira offers a number of other beaches ranging from the safe sands at Fisherman's Beach (around a 20 minute stroll away) to the beautiful estuary of Foz do Lizandro.


Lisbon airport is only a 30 minutes drive (40kms). The main bus station of Ericiera is only a 5 minute walk away from the apartment and offers transport throughout the area including an express service to the centre of Lisbon.

Direct flights are available to Lisbon from Manchester, Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Edinburgh and other major British cities. Airport transfers can be arranged upon request.


Sintra, with its fairytale castles and palaces can be reached within 30 minutes (25kms) and the cosmopolitan resorts of Estoril and Cascais are less than 40kms away and can be reached in under an hour.

Ericeira is the best kept secret of the Lisbon coast. Its pretty narrow streets with whitewashed chapels and white houses edged in blue are a joy to wander around before heading to the sandy beaches, or to one of the many famous seafood restaurants. Its surfing waves are world famous and the beach of Ribeira das Ilhas is considered one of the best surfing spots in Europe. Prices are based on 4 people sharing. Both houses have the facility to accommodate a further adult on a sofa bed in the lounge and this will incur an additional nightly charge of €10 per night

  • The House has a small balcony leading from the living room and a lovely terraced area leading from the master bedroom and overlooking the beautiful landscaped gardens. There is a large shared swimming pool on the estate and there is also a smaller childrens' pool. The pool bar/restaurant offers a wide range of refreshments from drinks, snacks and ice-cream to delicious lunches & dinners which you can take away to eat on your own terrace if you prefer! (Note: There is a small fee payable locally for use of the pools which are open from Mid June to Mid September).There is also a Sports Bar/Snack bar in the Tennis Club showing live sports from around the world, including the UK.
