Sandbanks is a small peninsula which contains some of the most expensive houses and land in the country. Bournemouth and Poole town centres are a short drive away or alternatively you can walk along the seafront. The house offers two lounges for guests, a main bathroom and two en-suites and a garden with a swing/slide, outside table and barbecue facilities. Gas/Elec/Water are included. All fresh linen and towels are provided.

My name is Dan and I am married with 3 children. We fell in love with Sandbanks when we used to holiday with the kids so we bought a place. Our property is partly managed by our lovely neighbours Miriam and Paul who will greet you on arrival.

we love the beach but if you take the ferry across to studland the countryside is amazing. Its ideal for cycling.

Great spacious house

In need of a little TLC in parts but meant we were more relaxed with 5 children. Great location for a weekend with three families. Would recommend!

Life Among the Millionaires

The house is extremely spacious and having a games room is a real bonus particularly for children. The kitchen is well equipped with an abundance of crockery/cutlery etc. The bedrooms are perfect for a large party (there were 11 of us, 7 adults, 4 children and 2 well behaved dogs) and all bed linen and towels were supplied. However, there were stains on the mattress in the master bedroom and the mattress topper and sheet were missing, which meant we had to go shopping for both. We have made the owner aware of this. We were unable to make the shower in the upstairs ensuite bedroom work but we understand from the owner that there is a pump which needs to be turned on. We were however unaware of this as there were no instructions visible of its existence or location. Access to the property was extremely straightforward. The garden is large with a combined slide, swing and see-saw for the children and there is a large table with matching chairs on the paved patio. The garden itself could do with a little tlc. There is also a chimnea style BBQ which previous visitors had not bothered to clean which was a shame, so we did not use it. The garden could do with the addition of outdoor lighting to enhance al fresco dining, and even better perhaps a hot tub!! The road adjacent to the house is quite busy with subsequent traffic noise but this did, of course, lessen as night approached. Local shops and the waterfront are in easy walking distance. Sandbanks is, of course, well known for it fabulous houses and if you are into that sort of thing the majority of them are visible from the surrounding roads if you fancy a bit of rubbernecking. As a family we love this part of the country and our experience was significantly enhanced by staying at this property. It is expensive but to be expected because of its size and location.

Fabulous comfortable family space and location.

We had a lovely stay here this week. The house is very spacious and confortable. The rooms are all very generous and the garden great. Ideal for visiting Sandbanks, the Isle of Purbeck, Poole etc. We found it clean and all the beds were very comfortable, would definitely stay there again!

Nice big house in quiet road which is close to all amenities. Plenty of space and ideal for large groups. Close to Bournemouth & Swanage so perfect location. Would definitely stay here again.
