This apartment is great, location is perfect with supermarkets, fresh fishmonger, deli and butchers one minute walk away. Walking distance to Palafrugell town which is great on a Sunday for the market. Lots of great beaches nearby.



The apartment itself is clean and modern with everything that you need and more. Love the upstairs with the roof terrace and BBQ. Sky TV and WiFi give the home comforts and the owner left us a stocked cupboard with laundry detergent etc. Nick and Helen ( the owners) we're really helpful and have made a perfect place to enjoy a spannish break. Definitely will return.

Superb place close to great beaches and coves.

Well presented apartment with full amenities in a nice area with shopping on the door step. Great welcome pack.

Owner Nick very obliging and friendly with great info on the surrounding area.

Superb beaches and coves all within 20 minutes.

Lovely restaurants and cafes and great to find most still open even though it was mid October.

We live and work in France so took our road bikes with us and it was a great place to use them if you didn't mind the short trip first on main roads. Probably next time will take off road bikes and use the many tracks literally from the apartment.

Overall a great place at a very good price.

Well equipped apartmentment in good location

The apartment has everything you could want from a holiday let and is very comfortable. Nick was very helpful, giving advice on things to do etc. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean and the basement parking keeps the car cool.

Fantastic spacious and spotless apartment

If anything the property description and past reviews don't do it justice. All contact with Nick was very quick and the directions were very helpful. Nick met us at Lidl and took us to the property. The apartment is very spacious, was very clean and everything we needed was already provided by Nick. Best welcome pack I've ever come across and that coupled with Nick's guided tour and advice about the area made us feel at home immediately. The secure parking spaces in the basement with lift access to the apartment front door were much appreciated. Nick has compiled a guide book that identifies all of the surrounding attractions. We particularly liked Pals although there are so many attractive villages in the area that it's hard to say what was best. I would recommend the apartment for all types of visitors as it is equipped like a home from home and has enough space to accommodate a family of 5 or even 6. Highly recommended, and our thanks to Nick for superb service and facilities. I doubt that this will be our only visit!

A fantastic base to explore a wonderful region

Just back from a wonderful stay in Nick and Helen's apartment. OK, let's start at the beginning. Nick met us on the outskirts of town and led us to the apartment, giving us the full low-down on underground parking and free on-street parking if we preferred. On arrival, the apartment is exactly what we expected from the pictures we saw and the description that goes with it. Extras like the full TV package and a solid, reliable internet connection made life very easy when we wanted a bit of downtime. Lots of programs for the kids of watch in the morning. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need for self-catering and an excellent gas BBQ up on the roof terrace which we availed of many, many times.The fridge and cupboards were also kindly stocked with the essentials which made our day 1 a lot easier. The air conditioning works really well and kept the apartment at exactly the temperature we wanted - day or night. Outside shutters kept the apartment cool during the day and dark at night. The apartment is on the outskirts of the town with a great selection of shops (including a large supermarket) less than a minutes walk away. The town centre is about 10 minutes walk with a good choice of restaurants and shops. A vast range of beaches are all within 10-15 minute drive away with a great choice available. Nick was always at hand to help if needed but to be honest, everything was so well organised, we didn't need to call on him. Overall, I'd highly recommend this apartment. We are a family of 4 (2 kids - 4 and 7) and it was ideal for them.

Well appointed apartment in lovely Market town

Nick and Helen have created a great apartment . It has everything you need for a comfortable family holiday. We made great use of the fantastic produce available in the local fish and vegetable markets, and from the most excellent butcher just round the corner from the apartment.

We had some great bbqs on the roof terrace watching the sun go down.

It is a short walk into PAlafrugell where there are lots of bars and restaurants.

PAlafrugell is an ideal location for exploring the beautiful Costa Brava . Being away from the coast you get better value for money and feels less touristy which we liked.

Nick went out of his way to help with everything we asked.

We would happily return another year.

Convenient, light and air conditioned

Nick’s Smart Duplex is a terrific place to stay. The apartment is spacious and clean. It worked really well for ourselves and our three teenage boys. The centre of town is an easy stroll into town with supermarkets and cafe’s just a lift ride away. The location worked really well to drive to a different beach each morning or to visit the medieval towns in the area. We enjoyed BBQ’s on the roof and some evenings in the town square.

Spain is such a child friendly country, and the Costa Brava is a stunning part of the world. Palafrugell and the surrounding area still retains it's authentic Catalan charm and still remains untouched by mass tourism. Wether you are in search of white knuckle thrills, scuba diving, playing golf, walking, trying the local wine and superb culinary fayre, to simply relaxing then the Costa Brava can offer it all. Yet Girona/Barcelona are so easy to get to if you crave some city time!

The Mediterranean sea is just 4kms drive away, nearest beaches are the famous chic resorts Llafranc & Calella, but from Palafugell a whole host of spectacular places await your visit, be it inland or further up the coast, or even the vibrant city of Barcelona.

Fully recommend having a car.

banks, a post office, tabaconists, 24 hr Medical centre, there is a weekly market on Sunday (morning only). Palafrugell's shops are open on a Sunday morning but remain closed on a Monday (there are a few exceptions including supermarkets!)
