Villa in S'Albufera, Es Grau, Menorca, Balearic Islands - Villa With Private Pool And Far-reaching Views Over The Nature Reserve And Out To Sea At Es Grau

Villa Los Pajaros (Bird Villa) is well named as it's position on a gentle hilltop overlooking the tranquil surroundings of the Parc Natural, declared a UNESCO Biosphere reserve in 1993, affords splendid opportunities for birdwatching. It's elevated setting also ensures complete privacy whilst from either the top of the garden or from the villa's roof terrace there are panoramic views over the lake, the sea and countryside. Nearby Es Grau offers a small supermarket, a couple of bars/restaurants as well as kayak,catamaran and pedalo hire on the sandy beach. There are many other stunning beaches within a short drive and for the more energetic, coastal walks with secluded beaches along the Cami de Cavalls. However you may never want to leave the relaxing poolside area or the terrace with it's cooling breeze during the hottest months! Our villa is looked after by an english manager who lives within the Parc Natural.

Stunning setting and immaculate home - 5 stars!!!

This villa is a true gem; set up on a hillside with breathtaking views and within a short drive to quaint Es Grau, the town of Mahon and a wealth of beaches to choose from. It provides the perfect base for a wonderful Menorcan holiday. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying cocktails on the verandah it can be a struggle to leave the villa to explore. There are lanes to explore the preserve right outside the gate and my 3 children loved the openness and freedom of the area as well as the expansive garden which made a great place to play hide and seek. We will definitely be back!

Villa los Parajos-The Perfect Get Away!

I loved my visit to Villa los Parajos near the village of Es Grau! The villa itself is a lovely home which provided everything we needed. With plenty of space inside and out, we could gather together or sneak off for some quiet time. Loved spending time on the patio enjoying the view of Es Grau an the Mediterranean. The gentle breezes slip through the many windows keeping the home comfortable for all. The pool area is surrounded by lovely gardens. Loungers and umbrellas allow you to spend hours here. A fully outfitted kitchen encourages you to prepare delicious meals after your visit to the local market. Ice packs in the freezer made taking cool drinks to the beach so nice. The washing machine means you can pack less. The villas location gives one easy access to the entire island whether you're popping into Mahon for dinner or doing a tour of the beaches. Villa los Pajaros is your private, quiet sanctuary among the beauty of Menorca. We will return soon and will recommend to all our friends!

An ideal spot.

I have spent holidays at Los Pajaros in both high and low season and found the villa welcoming, very well equipped, light and airy, clean and comfortable. We were cozy during our winter stay with the log burner and bedroom heaters. The pool area is lovely and has plenty of lounging furniture, table and chairs for dining and umbrellas for shade. My grandchildren had great fun in the extensive garden full of hiding places. When dining on the covered terrace the views are magnificent in all directions down to the sea and over the S'Albufera park. We accessed trails through the park both from the villa and Es Grau. We loved the privacy and peace but the villa is only 5 minutes by car from Es Grau where we enjoyed the beach (very gently shelving and great for our youngest grandchildren), and where the older ones enjoyed the facilities of the water sports center. It was perfect that Mahon was only 10 minutes away as we visited many times for shopping, dining and the market. An ideal villa which we will certainly visit again.

Since our first visit to Menorca in 1988 we have been hooked on this beautiful island. Finally we have been able to buy our dream home and we would love you to enjoy it as well. The area is perfect, offering tranquility, privacy, beautiful countryside and a lovely sheltered beach close by in the village of Es Grau. In contrast just ten minutes down the road are the restaurants, bars and shopping of Mahon.

Ciutadella 40k - approx 35mins

There is a small supermarket in Es Grau and several larger ones just outside Mahon town - 10 mins away by car.

Bars and restaurant in Es Grau. Numerous bars, restaurants and cafes round Mahon harbour front within a short drive.

This property is ideal for out of season bird-watching and walking as well as traditional summer holidays.

There are stairs from the sitting room and from the terrace to the pool area below. Access to bedroom 3 is either via bedroom 1 or by a separate outside door. Outside: Private pool (approx 10mx5m) maintained twice weekly. External lighting and pool light. Sunbeds, parasols, shady poolside dining table and chairs.
